Infested Admiral

Man, Zerg, Monster. Stukov was initially a part of the United Earth Directorate on a mission to take over the Koprulu sector but was betrayed. He was then infested by the Zerg to do their bidding, but was almost cured and taken back for "safekeeping", and was experimented on by Narud as the cure slowly failed. He eventually escaped and assisted Kerrigan in putting Narud down, and then went on to take down the Mengsk, for good this time. He is a powerful Infested Terran, but those who've met him know that he's something beyond that.

Stukov is an offensive ranged support who heals allies based on his own health restoration, and builds up stacks on the enemy to deal insane amounts of damage after a while.

Combat Trait

Corrosive Blast
Basic attacks apply stacks of Corrosion that increase your spell damage against them by 12%. Stacks up to 10 times and lasts 6 seconds, duration refreshing with further attacks. Allies restore health based on .75% of their damage dealt for each Corrosion stack.

Primary Abilities

Biomass Extraction
20 mana - 5 second cooldown

Launch a spike in the target direction dealing 55 (+ 4%lvl) damage to the first enemy hit doubled against heroes, and place biomass at their feet that restores health to self or an allied hero who walks over it equal to the damage dealt.

Fungal Growth
60 mana - 14 second cooldown

Launches a blob at the target AoE, all enemies hit take 150 (+ 4%lvl) damage over 2 seconds and are slowed by 20% increased by 7% for each Corrosion stack.

Transfusion
3 second cooldown (starts at the end of the effect)

Sprays slime at the target ally. Any healing received by Stukov is instead applied to that ally. Lasts until cancelled or the target is too far away.

Heroic Abilities

Virophage Infection
100 mana - 60 second cooldown

Activate to infest the target enemy hero for 10 seconds dealing 13 (+ 4%lvl) damage per second. If the hero is slain while infested they are turned into an infested version of themselves that Stukov can control for 30 seconds. Infested have 100% damage and 150% health but move 20% slower, and have access to the heroes' Trait.

[Storm Talent] Aggressive Conscriotion: Target is slowed up to 50% based on distance from Stukov, and Infested last 20 seconds longer.

Parasitic Bomb
80 mana - 24 second cooldown

Releases a slow-moving swarm in the target direction, if it touches an enemy hero it attaches to them and deals 22 (+ 4%lvl) damage per second to nearby enemies lasting 6 seconds. 25% of damage dealt to heroes is restored as health to Stukov.

[Storm Talent] Razor Swarm: 50% larger AoE and damage is increased by 6% for each stack of Corrosion on the target.

Details

Stukov is a unique support in that he's very close to being a straight up assassin. His initial damage numbers are rather weak but when he really starts dealing damage is when he repeatedly pokes at them with basic attacks, and after stacking on them a couple times they will start burning down much faster. This is great because he heals better the more damage he deals but it also limits his value against tons of burst. He fits in with comps that like to avoid directly fighting so he can keep reapplying Corrosive Blast without fighting right away.

Transfusion is your biggest healing tool, because Stukov has lots of self healing that can be utilized to heal allies. This gets more value with double support but with just Stukov it still gives allies some strategic position options. Most of Stukov's healing is single-target and he can't swap around like Morales but the healing is also essentially free. Meanwhile Biomass Extraction seems like it would be counter-intuitive, but Stukov likes to position aggressively in order to stack Corrosion so picking up Biomass can be viable. It also can simply provide Stukov with some much-needed self-sustain but be careful of enemies trying to counter-position you. Fungal Growth mostly provides damage but the slow can be very heavy on enemies you've stacked on.

Virophage Infection is similar to Doom from WC3; attach it to a dying enemy and you'll get a pet enemy to toy around with. The damage itself isn't incredible though if it's buffed by Corrosion it can be, but the real benefit is turning a single takedown into a 6v4. Pick your targets, an infested warrior is deadly as can be a ranged assassin, but a support can be easier to pick off. The ability may not be quite as useful in the high tiers where a single death spells victory, but it does have a lot of value for any sort of picks and can even be used for pushing. Parasitic Bomb is functionally the exact opposite, it deals damage to everything except the enemy it hits but heals you in the process. The damage it deals is pretty strong though the issue with AoE damage is that it's hard to apply stacks to many targets at once. Neither heroic is a true support heroic but I'd say this one is the more support-y.

I wasn't going to make a design for this guy at first. I thought "everyone else is already making designs for him, I'll just be another dude with a Stukov design", and "Blizzard is probably already making him internally, so why waste my time." I saw the light however. I'm sorry for betraying the Zerg. Stukov is pretty swell, and he wasn't even that difficult to design!
