Elder Sage of the Ashtongue Tribe

(Melee Assassin) An assassin that provides high pressure on opponents that stay close and has a unique stealth mechanic.

With Maiev's recent release and the lack of draenei and their variations, I figured Akama would make a compelling addition to round out Illidan's circle of old friends turned enemies turned friends again...and so on. I honed in first on Akama's stealth aspect, drawing inspiration from his involvement in WC3 with his fellow now-retconned units, compiling his kit and some talents from a mixture of those same units, his various WoW appearances, and emphasizing his mutated state. The stealth mechanic in particular came in mind from the recent stealth rework and how it moreso acts as an untargetable state, so I reversed that property and tacked on Phantom Assassin's lack of mini-map presence from DotA.

Combat Trait

Deathsworn
Getting a takedown on enemy heroes heals you for 20% of your maximum health and reduces the cooldown recovery on your inactive basic abilities and heroic by 3 seconds. Gaining experience from minions heals you for 1.5% of your maximum health and mana.

Primary Abilities

Ashtongue Strike
Mana Cost: 40 mana
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Performs a cleaving strike in front of you, dealing 80 damage and lowering spell armor by 20 for 3 seconds. Also spreads Liquid Fel Fire to the first 3 enemies hit, expending one stack per hit.

Dire Spirits
Mana Cost: 55 mana
Cooldown: 11 seconds
Sends out two spirit wolves that stop at the first enemy they hit, dealing 60 damage twice then bouncing to two different adjacent enemies, favoring heroes. Each wolf deals damage up to 4 times, and their last hit deals double damage and slows the target by 50% for 2 seconds. The wolves continue to bounce as long as there are multiple targets.

Liquid Fel Fire
Mana Cost: 55 mana
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Coats your next 3 basic attacks in a volatile reagent, burning the targets you strike for 35 spell damage a second and reducing their incoming healing by 40%, lasting for 3 seconds. Stacks and refreshes with each application.

Heroic Abilities

Shade of Akama
Mana Cost: 75 mana
Cooldown: 65 seconds
Summons a hostile shade of yourself that only you can interact with. The shade attacks you for 40% of your basic attack damage and has 900 base health. Killing this shade restores 75% of your maximum health, 25% of your maximum mana, and refreshes the cooldowns on your basic abilities.

Thunderstorm
Mana Cost: 75 mana
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Call down a strike of lightning at the target area, dealing 100 damage and knocking enemies back a great distance. Refunds the mana cost and restores 25% of your maximum mana if you're standing in the vicinity. Particularly good at lumber mill!

Special Mount

Shadow Walk
Cooldown: 3.5 seconds after not receiving physical damage or attacking
Take on a transparent state that boosts your movement speed by 25%. While in this form, you are immune to all forms of spell damage, but basic attacks and minions can still target you. You only become revealed when attacking or by True Sight, and you do not show up on the mini-map in this state.
