Druid

Alder is a versatile melee multiclass who controls winds and wolves to deal damage and protect himself from harm. Alder has a natural affinity for fighting monsters and bolstering his allies with the aid of spirits.

Alder is a versatile "jack of all trades" who can fill any role. He can be built as a tough frontline mage, a bruiser, or a PvE specialist depending on if you focus talents in Tornado, Cyclone Armor, or Wolves. He has 3 ult choices, Werewolf for chasing down enemies, Werebear for frontline tanking, or Hurricane for elemental damage and crowd control.

Combat Trait

One With Nature
You and your summons deal 25% more damage to neutral mercenaries and monsters and take 25% less damage from them.

Primary Abilities

Tornado
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Mana Cost: 45

Travels in a zigzag pattern and deals 150 damage to all enemies in its path.

Cyclone Armor
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana Cost: 60

Gain a shield that absorbs 450 damage for 4 seconds and grants 25 spell armor.

Summon Spirit Wolf
Charge Cooldown: 10 seconds
Mana Cost: 50

Summons a wolf companion that attacks the nearest enemy for 25 damage, preferring heroes. Holds 2 charges and can have 2 wolves active at a time. Moving too far away from your wolves or re-summoning one will cause them to return to your side.

Summon Spirit (choose 1)
Oak Sage: Nearby allies regenerate 5 health per second. Gathering regeneration globes increases this bonus by 1 health per second, up to 25. After collecting 20 globes, your health is increased by 500.


Heart of Wolverine: Increase your basic attack damage by 10%. Each takedown and every 5 nearby minions killed increases this bonus by 1%, up to 25%. After reaching 25% you also gain 10% increased attack speed. Nearby allies gain half of these bonuses.


Essence of Mana: Nearby allies regenerate 0.5 mana per second. Gathering regeneration globes increases this bonus by 0.1 up to 1.5. After collecting 15 globes, nearby allies also gain 5% ability power

Rabies
Cooldown: 6 seconds

Deal 100 damage per second to target hero for 4 seconds. If another enemy hero comes within 2 range of the poisoned hero, the poison spreads.

Cooldown: 6 seconds

Deal 400 damage to target enemy and heal for 75% of the damage dealt. Deals double damage to non-heroes.

Transform into a werewolf for 20 seconds. Increase your attack speed by 25% and movement speed by 20%. Gain the activated ability to control your wolves' targets. Gain the rabies ability. Cannot cast Tornado or Cyclone Armor while transformed.

Transform into a werebear for 20 seconds. Increase your damage by 25% and gain 25 armor. Gain the hunger strike ability. Cannot cast Tornado or Cyclone Armor while transformed.

Create a hurricane around you for 6 seconds. It deals 75 damage per second and slows enemies in it by 20%.

Level 1

Level 4

1. Controlled devastation: Tornado moves 10% faster and moves in a straight line.
2. Vortex: Tornado slows enemies caught in it by 20% for 2 seconds and pulls non-heroes towards its trajectory.
3. Disarming gusts: Cyclone armor grants 75 physical armor against the next 2 hero basic attacks.
4. Spirit of the Hunt: Your summons and shapeshifted form deal 50% more damage to non-heroes and take 50% reduced damage from them.


Level 7

1. Fierce winds: Cyclone armor deals 22 damage per second to nearby enemies. When it expires, enemies are slightly knocked back and take 25 damage.
2. Tornado season: Reduce the cooldown of Tornado by 1 second for each enemy hero it hits, up to 3 seconds. If it hits 2 or more heroes, refund 10 mana.
3. Dire Wolves: Increase the damage of your spirit wolves by 25% and their health by 50%.
4. Vine Creeper: When a nearby enemy minion dies regain 2% of your maximum health and 1% of your maximum mana. When a nearby hero dies regain 10% of your maximum health and 5% of your maximum mana after a 2 second delay.

Level 13

1. Healing winds: Heal for 30% of the damage absorbed by cyclone armor.
2. Gone with the wind: Casting cyclone armor increases your move speed by 30% for 2 seconds. Gain 30% increased move speed for 1 second if you are within 2 range of your tornado.
3. Press the advantage: Your next basic attack against a slowed, rooted, or stunned enemy deals 50% additional damage and reduces the target's armor by 25 for 2 seconds. Cannot occur more than once every 10 seconds.
4. Spirit Bond: 10% of damage taken is redirected and distributed evenly among your wolves. You and your wolves heal for 10% of the damage dealt by your wolves.


Level 16

1. Gather the pack: Reduce the cooldown of spirit wolves by 50%. Can now hold 3 charges and you can summon 3 wolves maximum.
2. Imposing Winds: While cyclone armor is active, heroes that attack you have their attack speed reduced by 30% for 3 seconds and take 100 damage.
3. Gathering Storm: Increase the damage of tornado depending on how far it travels, up to 100% increased damage at the end of its path.
4. Dust Devils: Tornado leaves smaller twisters in its wake that last 3 seconds and deal 40 damage per second to enemies in the area.


Level 20
1. Lycanthropy: Remove the cooldown on your shapeshift ability and it now lasts indefinitely or until cancelled.
2. Armageddon: Hurricane also causes meteors to fall from the sky around you, each dealing 100 damage to enemies hit.
3. Summon Grizzly: Summons a grizzly bear 75% stronger than all of your wolves combined. Replaces Summon Spirit Wolves. Press E to change the grizzly
