Alythess and Sacrolash

The Eredar Twins

Similar to Cho'Gall, these two heroes must be picked at the same time and played by two people, but they are instead controlled separately. Lady Sacrolash is a sneaky and manipulative melee assassin, and Grand Warlock Alythess is a chaotic and destructive ranged assassin. Many of their abilities and talents synergise with each other, allowing for flashy complex plays that reward in-sync player duos.

See if you can spot all of their synergies!

Combat Trait

1
Dark Touched
Sacrolash's basic attacks apply Dark Touched, lasting for 3 seconds. Basic attacks deal an additional 25% extra damage to enemies affected by Flame Touched. When Sacrolash dies, she fuses with Alythess for 5 seconds, allowing her to cast her abilities for the duration.

(Similar to an Uther ghost, but you are stuck to your sister).
2
Flame Touched
Alythess's abilities inflict enemies with Flame Touched for 3 seconds. Abilities that damage enemies affected by Dark Touched generate triple the amount of Fel Stone stacks. When Alythess's dies, she fuses with Sacrolash for 5 seconds, allowing her to cast her abilities for the duration.

Primary Abilities

1
[Q] - Shadow Blades
Sacrolash dashes forward, dealing damage to enemies in her path and granting invisibility and invulnerability for 2 seconds. During this time she is able to cast abilities, but once they go off, Sacrolash loses the effect.
2
[W] - Confounding Blow
TL;DR Skill shot stun that breaks via non periodic damage.

After a short delay, Sacrolash deals high damage in a small area (think moonfire size) directly in front of her, causing heroes to be dazed for 3 seconds. While dazed, targets will not be able to to control their hero, and it will instead move around aimlessly. Non periodic damage and non Shadow image damage over 10% of the target's maximum health will break the daze.
3
[E] - Shadow Image
Sacrolash creates a shadow image at her location, lasting for 6 seconds and attacking enemies within range. Use the ability again to switch places with the Shadow Image.

This doesn't work like a Nova or Samuro clone. It's obvious which one is real.
4
[Q] - Blaze
TL;DR Make enemies, your twin, and your twin's images create a path of fire.

Alythess fires a line skill shot, hitting the first enemy, Sacrolash, or Shadow image in its path and afflicts them with Blaze for 4 seconds. Targets hit by Blaze will drop patches of fire at their feet that last 3 seconds. If the target does not move, a single patch will grow larger and last longer.
5
[W] - Conflagration
Alythess Draws a line of fire that damages enemies and lasts 3 seconds.

Similar to the vector targeting abilities, using this ability requires you to draw with your mouse. Unlike vector targeting, you can free-form draw the flame up to a certain length.
6
[E] - Fel Stone
Alythess's ability damage grants her stacks of Fel Stone (up to 100), which increases her ability power by x per stack. Activate Fel Stone to heal herself or Sacrolash for x per stack, removing all stacks of Fel Stone.

Heroic Abilities

1
[R1] - Shadow Nova
After a short delay, Sacrolash either teleports herself to Alythess or Alythess to herself, dealing high damage in an area around herself and stunning enemies around her for 1.5 seconds.
2
[R2] - Netherwhip
After a short delay, Sacrolash launches a whip, allowing you to pull the first enemy hero hit for 3 seconds. Repeatedly casting the ability will pull the enemy closer. You are unable to cast Shadow Blades during this duration.

This whip functions like Butcher's Lamb to the Slaughter ability, but Sacrolash can pull her victim away.
3
[R1] - Meteor
Alythess drops a meteor at the target location dealing damage on impact, teleporting Sacrolash to the center of the impact location, and leaving patches of fire lasting 3 seconds.
4
[R2] - Felflamethrower
Alythess become unstoppable and launches flames in a long cone for 5 seconds, leaving fire patches in its path.

Yes this looks a lot like Diablo's lightning breath, but considering how squishy Alythess is and how Sacrolash can teleport her/to her mid cast, Felflamethrower is reasonably distinct. You are also able to use Fel Stone during the channel.

Talents Abstract

Many of the talents will focus on synergy, selfishness, or selflessness. Some talent tiers will feature talent choices benefiting the other sister. This allows one sister to make the other sister into an absolute nightmare with the right talents. An example of this might be Alythess's level 4 talents.

Level 4
Soulburn (E) - Fel Stone is now usable on enemies, dealing x damage per stack.

Soul Shards (E) - Fel Stone now also gives the target a stack of Block for every 30 stacks of Fel Stone.

Fel Infusion (E) - Fel Stone increases the attack speed of the target for a short duration.

Here we have Soulburn that really only benefits Alythess and her ability to burst, Soul Shards that grants survivability to whomever she uses E on, and Fel Infusion that primarily benefits Sacrolash and he trait.

I'm not taking the time to do the talent tree, because I'd rather just use this post to give Blizzard ideas.
