Prince of Stormwind

"A young Priest who embraces the light to shield his allies or the void to cripple his enemies."

At a young age, Anduin Wrynn ascended to the throne of Stormwind after his father, King Varian, was kidnapped in a plot by the sinister dragon Onyxia. When his father at last returned to the throne, Anduin eschewed the way of the warrior to embrace the path of the priest, and studied under the Prophet Velen. The priesthood has taught Anduin much on the duality of good and evil, and he brings this perspective now to the Nexus.

-Anduin is a Ranged Support hero who wields great power to protect or destroy. Anduin's trait is Shadowform, a cooldown that trades healing utility for raw power. Activating Shadowform grants Anduin Armor and changes his Basic Abilities into powerful damage tools for a short period of time.

-Power Word: Shield is the first Ability for Anduin. Anduin places a large shield on the target, allowing them to survive in lieu of proper healing. This is particularly powerful in protecting a carry hero such as Illidan or Valla, unleashing their full potential.
-Void Shield is Anduin's first Basic Ability in Shadowform and his most deadly. This Ability can only be cast on Anduin and it is half as effective as PW:S. Enemies who break Void Shield causes are damaged for the total amount of damage shielded, but if the shield expires on its own, Anduin will take damage instead.

-Anduin's second Ability, Renew, is a relatively weak HoT effect with a short cooldown. Keep Renew up on as many allies as possible as often as possible to maximize Anduin's healing capabilities.
-Anduin's second Ability in Shadowform is Shadow Word: Pain. A long DoT with a short cooldown, Shadow Word: Pain has the potential to mark an entire enemy team for some postmortem revenge.

-Holy Nova is Anduin's final Basic Ability. A small AoE, Holy Nova has a short cooldown, but a hefty Mana cost keeps it from being completely spammable. Its damage is light, but it is Anduin's best form of wave clear.
-Mind Sear is the final Basic Ability for Shadowform. Mind Sear is a channeled effect that pulses from the targeted enemy, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. Enemies closer to the channel target take more damage.

-For Heroics, Anduin can choose between Discipline and Shadow. Penance is a powerful tool for healing or hurting a target. With three charges, Penance can heal allies or damage enemies, with successive Penance casts against the same target being more effective.
-Shadow Crash is Anduin's second choice. Hurling a meteor of void energy, Shadow Crash will impact violently, dealing large damage to any targets in its radius. Shadow Crash will also activate Shadowform if it is not already active and does not affect its current cooldown.

Anduin's Support capabilities are able to bolster the survival of a single target immensely, but his AoE healing falls short of more specialized healers. Holy Nova is also Anduin's only damaging Basic Ability, so his waveclear and teamfight damage outside of Shadowform are weak. Anduin's damage in Shadowform is great, but at the cost of his healing. Be sure to save Shadowform for later if one of your allies is in need of aid.

Primary Abilities

Apply a large shield to the target for 8 seconds.

Steadily restore an ally's health, healing them for X every second for 5 seconds.

Holy Nova
X Mana.
2 second cooldown.

Pulse with Holy energy, dealing X damage to all nearby enemies.

Void Shield
10 second cooldown.

Apply a shield to yourself for 10 seconds. When the shield is broken, deal damage equal to the amount of damage shielded. If the shield expires, deal 50% of the total amount of shielding left to Anduin.

Only usable in Shadowform.

Shadow Word: Pain.
3 second cooldown.

Curse a target, dealing X damage every second for 5 seconds.

Only usable in Shadowform.

Mind Sear
2 second cooldown.

Assault the target's mind, dealing X damage to them and 50% of that damage to all nearby targets every second. Channeled.

Only usable in Shadowform.

Heroic Abilities

Penance
X Mana.
3 charges, 8 second cooldown per charge.

Launch balls of Light at the targeted Hero, healing allies for X and damaging enemies for X. Each successive cast of Penance on the same target increases its effectiveness by 10%, lasting for 10 seconds.

Shadow Crash
100 second cooldown.

Enter Shadowform (regardless of cooldown) and hurl a mass of Void energy at the targeted location. Enemies in the impact zone will take massive damage, and nearby enemies take less damage the further away they are.

Talents

Level 1:
Power Word: Fortitude: Permanently increase the Maximum Health of all allied Heroes by 10% until they are slain.
Enlightenment: Regen Globes restore an additional 50% Mana and reduce the cooldown of your Power Word: Shield by 1 second.
Perseverance: Basic Attacks against you grant 10 Physical Armor, stacking up to 50. Lasts 5 seconds.

Level 4:
Dispersion: Become Unstoppable and gain 50 Armor for 2 seconds. Only usable in Shadowform 90 second cooldown.
Fade: Enter Stealth for 4 seconds. 20 second cooldown.
Silence: Silence an enemy Hero for 2 seconds. 45 second cooldown.

Level 7:
Plea: Heal an ally for X health. 40 second cooldown. Renew reduces the cooldown of Plea by 1 second per tick.
Twist of Fate: Your Basic Abilities are 20% more effective against targets below 20% of their Maximum Health.
Mind Flay: Increase the damage to Mind Sear's target by 10% every 2 seconds, stacking up to 50%.

Level 13:
Power Word: Barrier: Increase the effect of your Power Word: Shield by 100%, but increase its cooldown by 5 seconds.
Pain Suppression: Allied Heroes who are Stunned gain 40 Armor for 3 seconds. Passive: Gain 10 Armor.
Mania: If Void Shield damages you, increase your Spell Power by 30% until you leave Shadowform.

Level 16:
Body and Soul: Power Word: Shield grants 30% increased Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
Atonement: Increase the damage of Holy Nova by 50% and Holy Nova now heals allied Heroes.
Vampiric Embrace: While in Shadowform, your Ability Damage heals a target for 25% of the damage done.

Level 20:
Archangel: Penance increases the effect of Renewal by 10% for 10 seconds. Stacks up to 50%.
Surrender to Madness: Shadow Crash increases the duration and Armor of Shadowform by 50%, grants 20% Spell Power while in Shadowform and increases your next Death Timer by 20 seconds.
Halo: Send out a halo of Light to heal all allies (including Minions and Mercenaries) on the map. 20 second cooldown.
Vampiric Touch: When Shadow Word: Pain expires, the target will be Feared for 1 second.
