Antonidas

Archmage of the Kirin Tor

Gifted from a young age with innate magical prowess, Antonidas quickly came to study, and eventually master, arcane arts. Growing to become a kind, caring man, Antonidas fostered a devotion to his students and the Kirin Tor, which eventually came to see him as its leader. The master of arcane arts would swear Dalaran to an allegiance with the Alliance come the Second War, and helped lead the kingdoms to an era of relative peace and prosperity. With his ever-increasing age, Antonidas would groom a successor to his position, lady Jaina Proudmoore, and eventually fall protecting the citizens of Dalaran from its down destruction at the hands of the demon lord Archimonde.

Combat Trait

Dampen Magic
Antonidas casts Dampen Magic on himself and all units within a radius around him. Dampen Magic reduces all spell damage taken by 10%, but also reduces all healing recieved by 20%. Activating this ability will cycle it to Amplify Magic.

Amplify Magic
Antonidas casts Amplify Magic on himself and all units within a radius around him. Amplify Magic increases all spell damage taken by 10%, but also increases all healing recieved by 20%. Activating this ability will cycle it to Dampen Magic.

Primary Abilities

Arcane Missiles
Antonidas stands in place for 1.5 seconds, casting three Arcane Missiles every 0.5 seconds at the cursor's location, damaging the first target hit. Each missile slows the target by 10%, stacking up to three times. If all three Arcane Missiles hit the same target, the third missile will crit and stun for a short while.

Arcane Explosion
Antonidas Blinks to a target location, and casts Arcane Explosion, damaging all enemy units around him. If an enemy hero hit is already slowed by Arcane Missiles, Arcane Explosion crits and permits Antonidas to Shimmer back to his original position.

Conjure Water
When Dampen Magic is active, Antonidas conjures Crystal Water at the target location. If a hero walks over the water, they recieve a buff that regenerates mana for up to 10 seconds the next time they stand still for one second. This effect is cancelled upon moving.

Conjure Food
When Amplify Magic is active, Antonidas conjures a Sweet Roll at the target location. If a hero walks over the food, they recieve a buff that regenerates health for up to 10 seconds the next time they stand still for one second. This effect is cancelled upon moving.

Heroic Abilities

Mass Teleport
Antonidas casts Mass Teleport at a target location. After 3 seconds, a portal opens that any allied hero can click to instantly teleport to the Hall of Storms. This portal lasts for 5 seconds and may be used one mnore time to return to the battlefield before closing. After a hero uses the portal twice, they may not use it again.

Improved Illusion
Antonidas transforms himself and one allied hero into a random prop from the map. This hides the transformed hero's health and mana bars from enemy players, removes collision, and makes them untargettable with basic attacks and targeting abilities. The transformation lasts 20 seconds, or until the transformed hero attacks or casts an ability. When the disguise ends, the hero explodes, damaging everything around them. The transformed hero may still be injured from area of effect spells.

Notable Talents

[*] Clearcasting - Arcane Missiles deals increased damage, and now casts over a total of 1 second.

[*] Arcane Implosion - Arcane Explosion now pulls slowed heroes into the center of the blast, interrupting channeled abilities.

[*] Conjured Mana Bun - Conjure Water and Conjure Food now provide both health and mana regeneration, regardless of whether used while Dampen Magic or Amplify Magic are active. Additionally, the food and water now becomes a Refreshment Table, providing the refreshments to anyone who walks over the table. Lasts for a maximum of 10 seconds.

[*] Safe Passage - Mass Teleport now takes only one second to open. Additionally, the portal lasts 10 seconds, may be used as many times as desired, and slows any enemies around it, pushing them away from the portal, but not interrupting channeled abilities.

[*] Mirage Field - Improved Illusion now affects all nearby allied heroes, and provides a large shield to their health pools for the duration of the illusion.
