- when on
merge the Archon will be tankier as a result of the merged health of both Aedus and Xerxes. It has Self-sustain because of
Plasma Renewal which is also important to have enough health for Aedus and Xerxes before choosing to split. He is also able to clear waves effectively because of the area of effect of his basic attack and
Psionic Attack.
- when on
Split the Archon will have higher damage output because of Xerxes abilities and continues auto attacks from both Aedus and Xerxes. Aedus still controllable as a normal unit with being only able of inflicting damage using auto attacks. Xerxes location and ability damage are controllable using the abilities buttons only.
- Notice that your ulti will change based on the form you are in. choose wisely because both are sharing the same cooldown of 100sec.
- Make sure to have enough health (using
Plasma Renewal) before splitting.
- When using
Xerxes Shift to merge into AX choose the location wisely; usually merge into Xerxes location when aiming to deal more damage in AX form, or merge into Aedus location when aiming to move to safety or restore health using
Plasma Renewal.
- Remember, you can use split as a gap closer; If an enemy hero is out of range, you can use split to attack him with Xerxes on mele and Aedus from range. you can even choose to merge back in Xerxes location to give the enemy a burst of damage with
Psionic Attack.
.
Is the hero picture your design? (the one where you show AX, Aedus and Xerxes together).
I really like it :)
yes I combined a couple of pictures to make the design
i would love to see more interaction between them when they split, for instance- make Xerxes abilities more effective vs targets that Aedus aa and verse versa, (with talents or basic...) so you ll be reworded for good management of split mode.
I totally agree that the more interaction between the two characters the better. I will add your Idea when I create the talents.
The main interaction is with the ability: Xerxes Sift which makes the positioning of each important when they merge back. That is because I was trying to keep the character as simple as possible (with all the complexity that split brings).
