Artanis

Leader of the Protoss

Artanis is the leader of the Protoss. Using advanced technology Artanis is able to withstand alot of potential damage from enemies, punishing enemies for their foolish attempts at taking him down.

All of his abilities synergise well together and with the concept of a warrior, giving him a great skillset for absorbing damage for his allies.

Combat Trait

Anti-matter armor
Every 5th source of damage dealt to Artanis is negated.

Primary Abilities

Compulsion
Artanis releases a pulse of energy, forcing all nearby enemies to attack him for X seconds, enemies are silenced for the duration. Enemies affected by compulsion have their attack damage reduced and attack speed increased proportionally.

i.e Attack damage is reduced by 50%, so attack speed is increased by 50%.

Anti-matter missiles
Whenever Artanis takes attempted damage from the same source for a 3rd time, he launches an anti-matter missile at the enemy, dealing small damage and slowing the enemy. Can be activated to launch a missile at all nearby enemies, slowing them. The passive will be inactive until the cooldown has reset however.

Still counts if damage is negated by Artanis' trait.

Photon Blast
Artanis blasts the ground in a cone, Damaging and Rooting all enemies hit for 1 second. The cone is mirrored behind him.

i.e he casts the cone, it deals the damage and root in the casted are aswell as the complete opposite area behind him.

Heroic Abilities

Wormhole
Artanis swaps locations with targetted hero (ally or enemy).

lv20 talent could increase range and/or allow for a "swap back" re-press within 3 seconds of casting.

Aeon Flux
Artanis redirects all damage dealt to nearby allied heroes to himself for 3 seconds. Artanis cannot drop below 5% max hp during this time.

lv20 talent could make this global, which could make for some epic saves on heroes that are caught out of position.
