Festering Wound (Passive)
Basic attacks against Corrupted heroes spawn a Festering Louse, to pursue a nearby enemy from the primary target's position (prioritizing heroes). Louse will not attack a target they were spawned from. Louse spawned from a Festering Appendage (Q) will attack any enemy unit.

Festering louse deal 50 dmg per attack and will die after 3 attacks, enemy heroes that are hit twice consecutively by any louse are infected with Corruption. Corruption last 8s.

Louse function like giant Naz spiders, but slower.

Lister spawns a Festering louse every 2s, and expels a Festering Appendage on death/expiration.

Baal Hurls a festering tentacle at enemies that lasts for 3s after contact. The tentacle Spawns a Festering Louse every 1s (total 3). It will wrap the first enemy hero hit, dealing 50 dmg a second for the duration and instantly applying Corruption.

If the Tentacle hits no target, the louse will spawn from were the Tentacle lay. If an enemy steps near a grounded Tentacle, it will latch onto the target for the remainder of its duration.

Tentacle has a Circle skill shot like naz spiders, but will wrap the first target in the radius. No casting/animation delay, the tentacle jumps off of Baal's body

"Curses the earth" (cursed earth) for 5s (globe of annihilation radius). Upon cast, Corrupted Heroes in the area are struck by a spine tendril from the ground dealing 140 dmg and slowing them by 35% for 0.75s. Any Corrupted hero that remain in the area will be struck by a spine every 1.25s.

After a 0.4s channel, Corruption of a hero is converted to Energy and pulled towards Baal, the Returning wave heals baal for 125 hp and deals 160 dmg to all enemies in its path, no dmg is dealt to its primary target. acts like return path of a diablo-fire stomp. your target glows red during channel time

Enemies that have their Corruption pulled while on Cursed earth are instantly struck by a spine tendril.

After a slight delay, a large Tentacle rises from the ground and grabs the nearest enemy hero within a range of 4, pulling its victim to the casting location. Deals 200 damage and infects target with corruption. The Tentacle lasts 16s, or until it has pulled an enemy hero.

There is a slight delay from when the tentacle releases the target it has grabbed. mechanically a root 0.5s.
The duration gives it opportunity for bush play/set up, the low Cd helps it support spine of the world's hit conditions

Description
Lister Provides some lane presence for a base kit that is weaker in Clear and camp speed. Alternatively he provides a quicker set up for corruption in quick engagements.

Baal sports a unique combination of sustain, setup and control; that excels in punishing teams who overstay and crowd on point control objectives.

Balance

Baal's balance is dependent upon his ability to spawn Louse; the Cooldown of (Q), the function of (D), and his basic attack speed are the most significant factors.

The consideration of his louse's aggression and dmg application/opportunity, should be treated more like Naz's spiders than Anub's beetles; as they stack something like poison and do not block skill shots. Although slower, the application/speed should not be a talent vs comp decision for the player. Any ability to escape the louse's dmg should be upfront with the character's role in draft; making it difficult enough to pick against, that the high mobility becomes central to the character selected.

Similar concepts should appear in the balance of "Spine of the world"(W). Two instant hit opportunities are already baked into kit; and the area control provided by the persistent effect can easily be oppressive or discouraging to fun factor. It can also be easily ignored if not representing some strength in his base kit. Not a very scale able effect in application/timing/rhythm.

This also means that Talents can be very simple and still render interesting game play choices.

Ironclad (active/passive) - Bribe stacks 20, max 100. !quest: using bribe increases Baal's basic attack damage by 18. (slowest atk/spd in game)

Enemy at the gates (passive) - Minions that live for 1.5s after being struck by your basic attack explode, dying instantly and dealing 150 dmg to nearby enemies. Enemy minions that die this way spawn a louse.

Vile servant (D/E) - basic attacks against corrupted heroes reduce the cooldown of Lister by 2.5s


T2
Infector of Souls (Passive) - every second consecutive attack against the same heroic target causes corruption. Baal's attack speed is increased by 15%, attacking the same heroic target consecutively causes Baal to lose this bonus on his next attack.

Enduring Shame (Q) - If Festering Appendage's Tentacle wraps a heroic target, its duration is increased by 2s.

Personal Torment (D) - Lister fixated target


T3
Devil's Own (E) - Rake and reclaim's channel time is reduced by 50%. Enemies who are hit by the wave in close proximity to Baal, take 100% additional damage.

Delouse (E) - A small AoE detonates on Rake and reclaim's primary target, dealing 120 dmg to nearby enemies. If no enemy hero is hit by the return wave, its healing is increased by 50%.

Unholy venture (W/E) - Spine hits from Rake and reclaim slow an additional 20%, and increase the duration of the "Cursed earth" by 2s.

Conspire Evil (W/E) - Spines deal bonus damage equal to 2% of maximum life over 2s. Rake and Reclaim spines deal 4% over 4s.

Savage's Spine (W/E) Spine hits from Rake and reclaim reduce the targets armor by 20 for 3s
