I really love the idea of Stamina as a resource and (E) Bounding Stride is just perfect and even better thematically when paired with the negative effect of his Trait, however the rest of the concept seems a bit muddled to me.
(D) Endurance does not list the maximum cap of Stamina. When I first read it, I assumed the cap was 100 since reaching a negative Movement Speed seemed ridiculous. However I then read Cairne's first Heroic Ability required 150 Stamina to cast. so I am unsure.
Two of his three Basic Abilities rely on Basic Attacks (Brawn and Shockwave). (Q) Brawn has just .29 seconds lower of a cooldown than Cairne's base Attack Speed, for which most players is not a noticeable difference. (W) Shockwave feels, by the text description, like a circle area of effect Ability rather than a cone (what I would consider a wave-like effect). Also the Root for 0.5 seconds hardly does anything except set up a perfectly timed disabling effect, which unless played at the highest level or in a well-communicated team will rarely be followed up on. (R1) Heroic Throw is an execute Heroic that goes through all immunities on a 100 second cooldown? No matter how high the cost, it is really powerful for even a Heroic. (R2) War Stomp is far too weak for a Heroic, but a good idea for a Bruiser Hero to keep enemies within reach (even if I don't like the idea of the pull - it's a stomp not a a suction).
If you read his stats it says how much stamina he has and how much stamina regen as well. Also the kit is designed to be hard to use on purpose, since I don't want anyone to be able to spam such a powerful damage.
About Brawn, I think you don't understand how attack speed works in this game. When I say that he has '0.79 attack speed' I don't show the time between attacks, but the number of attacks he can complete within 1 second. By dividing 1 with his attack speed (0.79) we can see that the actual time between attacks is 1.27 seconds, which makes Brawn quite the powerhouse actually, especially in conjuction with certain talents. As I said I didn't make the character with the intend to make him 'easy to play'.
Heroic throw is balanced around the fact that it has to be used on enemies below 30% health which limits its usage. Also the long cast time gives the enemy a change to escape and makes Cairne very vurnable not only by fully draining his stamina but also by blinding him making him totaly useless.Even the upgrade of the heroic just gets rid of one weakness of the ability by introducing others.
War stomp is designed to be a weak yet 'spamable' heroic allowing Cairne to control the crowds easily without thinking about it.
As for Shockwave ask a high level player about it and come tell me if they think that a 0.5 root that can't miss every 5 seconds is considered 'weak'.
P.S.
I added the max stamina and stamina regen on the trait to make it easier to find. :)
Did not read that statistics and that is my fault (long day for me, was mainly reading the kit itself and skimming through the rest), so I do apologize for that.
About his Attack Speed (once again I was exhausted while reading), I just forgot how it is actually suppose to be read - I read the Attack Speed as time between attacks and not attacks per second as it is intended.
About (W) Shockwave though, it CAN miss if Cairne is Blinded since it relies on his Basic Attacks, so if that misses the Ability misses.
Anyways I still feel like the concept is a bit messy.
