Liberator Pilot

Background Story
One of the Dominion's best aces, Captain Lola Leister fought countless aerial and space battles against the enemies of the Dominion and has mastered all known terran air/spacecraft. When the new Liberator Gunship was rolled out, Captain Leister was one of the first picks to pilot the new craft and is widely credited as the ace Liberator pilot of the dominion fleet. It is her belief that any problem can be solved with a couple of shots from her craft's plasma cannon.

Concept Summary: 
Created to be a long range fire-support hero. The liberator is decent at taking out groups of minions as the rocket attacks deal splash damage to enemies in its mobile form. Capt. Leister's hero takedown potential is unleashed when she gets in position and deploys the ship's Concord Cannon which grants a large damage boost to her basic attacks but only in a limited area and at a reduced fire rate. The liberator's strength is also its weakness as switching to Defender mode forces the ship to ascend and therefore be visible to the enemy regardless of cover or terrain, so proper positioning and team support is essential to bring out the full takedown potential of this hero.

Primary Abilities

Ram
Ability Key: Q
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Charge forward in a target direction. If an enemy hero is hit they are knocked back and the charge ends. The enemy takes 175 (+4%/level) damage.

Seeker Missile
Ability Key: W
Cooldown: 13 seconds

Deploys a seeker missile that chases its target with increasing speed after arming for 3 seconds. Deals 265 (+4%/level) damage upon impact to the target and 50% of the damage to nearby enemies. Can only target heroes.

Defender Mode
Ability Key: E
Cooldown: 3 seconds

Marks a large area and deploys into defender mode after a 2 second delay. The liberator ascends, becomes immobile and is visible to nearby enemies regardless of cover or terrain. The liberator now deals 420 (+4%/level) basic attack damage but can only attack enemies in the marked area and attack speed is reduced by 40%. Cannot attack units outside of the marked area.

Ability Key: E
Cooldown: 3 seconds

Transforms back into Fighter Mode allowing movement and normal vision after a 2 second delay. Basic attacks now deal 80 (+4%/level) damage but deal 75% splash damage to enemies near the target.

Reduces all damage taken by 40%, increases movement speed by 20% and regenerates 15% of your maximum health over 3 seconds. Cannot attack or use abilities while active.

Cooldown: 60 seconds

After a 3 second delay, warps to a target location.
Allies and enemies near the location will see your warp arrival location.

Activate to make your next 5 basic attacks gain 200% increased attack speed but attack 25% slower for 3 seconds after.

Upgrade: Safety Break

When active, Concord Cannon attacks deal 50% splash damage and Lexington Rockets gain 50% increased damage. Increases cooldown by 10 seconds.

Raid Artillery
Ability Key: R
Energy Cost: 100
Cooldown: 45 seconds

When used in Defender mode, Fire a railgun shot that deals 500 (+4%/level) damage to all enemies in a line with infinite range.
When used in Fighter mode, Fire a ballistic missile at a target area that deals 360 (+4%/level) damage to enemies in a large area and slows them by 60% decaying over 3 seconds.

Upgrade: Expanded Payload

Now stores up to 2 charges that replenish at once but increases cooldown to 70 seconds. Each charge has a 3 second cooldown between uses.

Increases movement speed by 15%. You ignore unit collision when moving.

TALENTS

LEVEL 1

Impetus Slugs (Trait) - Concord Cannon deals 10% more damage to enemies at the edge of the target area.

Afterburners (Z) - allows you to activate your mount ability granting 60% movement speed for 4 seconds. 30 second cooldown.

Smart Rockets (Quest) - Damage heroes 50 times with the splash damage of Lexington Rockets.
Reward - Lexington Rockets now deal 100% splash damage and splash damage area is increased by 50%.

LEVEL 4

Seeker Mine (W) - Can now be targeted on the ground to turn the missile into a mine. The mine will then travel towards an enemy hero when it comes within range. Only 1 mine can be active at a time. Can still fire seeker missiles when a mine is active.

Flash Warhead (W) - Seeker missile blinds the target and reduces their vision range for 2 seconds.

Missile Recycler (W) - While travelling, seeker missile can be reactivated to have it return and reduce the cooldown by 4 seconds and heal for 4% of maximum health.

LEVEL 7

Ramming Speed (Q) - Become protected for 1 second when hitting a hero.

Sniper (E) - Gain stealth when entering defender mode. Cancels when attacking or taking damage.

Defensive Matrix (E) - Gain 10 armor when in defender mode. Increase this armor to 25 if stunned, rooted, silenced or slowed.

Recoil Recovery (Passive) - Basic attacks heal you for 20% of the damage dealt.

Wind Tunnel (Q) - Leaves behind a trail of wind for 3 seconds that increases the movement speed of allies inside by 30%.

Nano-Deflective Armor (Active) - activate to reduce all damage taken by 40%, increase movement speed by 20% and regenerate 15% of your maximum health over 3 seconds. Cannot attack or use abilities while active.

LEVEL 16

Sensor Calibration (Quest) - Attack enemies with Concord Cannon 60 times including attacks done so far or participate in a takedown of all unique enemy heroes while in Defender mode.

Reward: Increases the attack area of defender mode by 20%.

Expanded Missle Bays (W) - Can now store up to 2 charges of seeker missile. Each charge has a 3 second cooldown between uses.

Smokescreen (Z) - Activate hover jets to deploy smoke that reduces enemy vision in a large area around the ship for 3 seconds.
The liberator becomes cloaked for 2 seconds.

LEVEL 20

Tactical Jump - Activate to warp to the target location after 3 seconds. Vanishes from the map and is invincible while warping.

Advanced Ballistics (E) - Increases Defender Mode Cast range by 40% and Fighter mode attack range by 1.5.
