"A proud and somewhat arrogant defender of the Queen's dominion, Commodore Ford has a sterling reputation, having never once lost a battle. Previously, he led the assault against Captain Blackheart killing him and his nefarious pirate crew. Now he stands as the only defender against Blackheart and his revenge."

Commodore Ford wields a musket and a cutlass. While near an enemy, Commodore Ford melee attacks with his cutlass for 120% base attack damage. While at distance from an enemy, Commodore Ford attacks with his musket for 80% base attack damage.

Q: Commodore Ford dashes forward 5 range and spins his cutlass in a circle causing 120 damage to each enemy hero hit.

W: Commodore Ford raises his musket shooting 3 pellets out in a spread pattern extending up to 8 range, striking any enemy in their path for 30 damage each reduces their movement speed by 10% for 3 seconds.

E: Commodore Ford commands the battlefield around him, dropping a circular zone extending 6 range from Commodore Ford's cast position. While inside the zone, all friendly and enemy players take 10% increased damage from all sources. Zone lasts for 6 seconds.

Commodore Ford commands his fleet to fire upon the target location up to 50 range, lobbing 6 cannonballs for 150 damage each over 3 seconds after a 1 second channel.

Pocket Sand
Commodore Ford sprays sand forward in a cone extending 4 range dealing 50 damage to all enemies hit and disorienting them causing enemies to wander in place for 6 seconds. Any damage caused while affected by disorient breaks the effect.

Talents Overview

The flavor of Commodore Ford's talents will allow for customization of each of his abilities with a primary focus around utilizing his Combat Trait: Tactician effectively. This will allow Commodore Ford to pre-plan his talent route to minimize his counter-ability. After all, Commodore Ford has never lost a battle.

Tier 1 Talents

Blade Dance: Quest Objective 1: Hit enemy heroes 50 times with Commodore Ford's Cutlass. Reward 1: Increases Commodore Ford's base attack damage by 10%. Quest Objective 2: Hit enemy heroes 75 times with Commodore Ford's Cutlass. Reward 2: Increases Commodore Ford's attack speed by 20%.

Musket Man: Musket Shot deals 200% damage to minions, mercenaries, and structures.

Seasoned Marksman: Quest: Every minion killed near you grants .2 attack damage, and takedowns grant .5 attack damage. Reward: Upon gaining 40 bonus attack damage, you can also activate Seasoned Marksman to increase your attack speed by 40% for 4 seconds. 30 second cooldown.

Tier 4 Talents

Swab the Deck: Commodore Ford's "Clear the Deck" no longer increases allied damage taken.

Bribe: Enemy Minions killed nearby grant a stack of Bribe. Can use 20 stacks to bribe a Mercenary instantly defeating them. Does not work on bosses. Maximum of 80 stacks of bribe.

Fleet Captain (Mercenary Lord): Increases the damage of all nearby mercenaries by 50%.

Tier 7 Talents

Ready, Aim, Fire: Enemies hit by Musket Shot pellets are marked for 5 seconds, increasing the damage from Commodore Ford's next basic attack by 20%. This effect stacks.

Blade Rush: Increases Commodore Ford's movement speed by 20% for 3 seconds after casting Blade Dance.

Balanced Arsenal: For 3 seconds after hitting an enemy with his Musket basic attack, Commodore Ford will deal 40% increased damage with his Cutlass.

Tier 13 Talents

Cleaned Up and Ready to Go: Casting Clear the Deck causes allied players to move 20% faster while inside the zone and for 3 seconds after exiting. Allied players may only gain movement speed from this ability once.

Deckhand: Clear the Deck spawns a deckhand at the center. The Deckhand will attack nearby enemies for 60 damage per second for 6 seconds. The deckand has 300 health. The deckhand is unable to move outside of Clear the Decks radius.

Sandy Shores: Clear the Deck causes enemy players to be slowed by 20% for 3 seconds. This effect stacks with other slows applied by Commodore Ford.

Tier 16 Talents

Perfect Shot: Quest Objective 1: Hit single heroes with 3 pellets from Musket Shot 7 times. Reward 1: Musket Shot fire two more pellets. Quest Objective 2: Hit single heroes with 3 pellets from Musket Shot 14 times. Reward 2: Musket Shot pierces.

Blade Flurry: Hitting two or more enemy heroes with Blade Dash causes Commodore Ford to strike each hero hit again with a basic attack from his cutlass.

Blackheart's Revenge: Blackheart takes control of Commodore Ford's Clear the Deck, causing grasping skeleton hands to rise from the area inflicting 60 damage per second to enemies inside Clear the Deck.

Storm Talents

Explosive Rounds: Each consecutive hit from Fleetwrecker deals 20% more damage.

Sandstorm: Pocket Sand's damage increased by 600%. Blinding Sands stuns the first target hit for 2 seconds.

Swashbuckler: Commodore Ford deals 40% increased damage while inside Clear the Deck. Commodore Ford takes 20% increased damage while inside Clear the Deck. This is unaffected by Swab the Deck (level 4).

Nexus Blades: Basic Attacks deal 20% more damage and slow enemy movement speed by 20% for 1 second.
