D.Va

Rework Idea

A rework prompt aimed at making D.Va more appealing as a Bruiser Hero by incorporating the Micro Missiles ability from her Overwatch counterpart, making Defense Matrix less clunky and giving her the tools to fulfill her in-game role as a "hard-to-kill Bruiser with high disruption". Blue text will remark on changes from her baseline kit.

Health: 2148 (+4% per level) (was 2000)
Health Regen: 4.275 (+4% per level) (was 4.168)
Attack Damage: 30 (was 24)
Pilot
Health: 1311 (+4% per level) (was 1109)
Health Regen: 2.881 (+4% per level) (was 2.5664)
Attack Damage: 60 (was 55)

Other Base Stats are unchanged.

Combat Trait

Mech Mode
When D.Va's Mech is destroyed, she is ejected after 0.75 seconds and can continue to fight in Pilot Mode. Destroying D.Va's Mech only awards 25% of a normal Hero's XP (was 50%).

Self-Destruct


Requires Mech Mode. Eject from the Mech, setting it to self-destruct after 4 seconds. Deals 400 to 1200 (+4% per level) damage in a large area, depending on distance from the center of the blast. Deals 50% damage against Structures.

Gain 1% Charge for every 1 second spent using Basic Attacks (was 2 seconds), and 50% Charge per 100% of Mech Health lost (was 30%).

Pilot Mode
Each Basic Attack reduces the cooldown of Call Mech by 0.5 seconds. As a Pilot, D.Va only awards 75% of a normal Hero's XP upon death (was 50%).

Primary Abilities

Boosters
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Increases D.Va's Movement Speed by 125% for 2 seconds. Enemies that are hit take 135 (+4% per level) damage and are knocked away. D.Va cannot be Slowed while Boosters are active, and each enemy can only be hit once per use. If D.Va takes nor deals no damage during Boosters, lower the cooldown by 7 seconds (Green text portion added.)

Defense Matrix
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Channel a defensive field in the target direction for 3 seconds, reducing damage dealt by enemy Heroes inside it by 75%. The Mech can move and turn while channeling (Green text portion added.). Reactivating this ability cancels it early. Damage dealt to the Mech by enemies within Defense Matrix still grants the same amount of Self-Destruct Charge.

Bunny Hop
Cooldown: 20 seconds.

D.Va's Mech becomes Unstoppable and stomps every 0.5 seconds, dealing 70 (+4% per level) damage, Slowing enemies by 30% and reducing their damage dealt by 25%. Lasts 1.5 seconds. Casting another ability cancels Bunny Hop. Was: D.Va's Mech becomes Unstoppable and stomps every 0.5 seconds, dealing 60 damage and Slowing enemies by 40%. Lasts 4 seconds.

Call Mech
Cooldown: 45 seconds

Requires Pilot Mode.
Call a new Mech and enter Mech Mode. While in Pilot Mode, each Basic Attack lowers this cooldown by 0.5 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Big Shot
Cooldown: 4 seconds

Requires Pilot Mode.
Deal 250 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in a line. Call Mech's cooldown is reduced by 8 seconds for each enemy Hero hit.

Micro Missiles
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Requires Mech Mode.
Launch 2 explosive rockets towards your mouse cursor every 0.25 seconds for 1.75 seconds. Each missile deals 58 (+4% per level) damage to the first target hit, splashing for 50% damage around targets hit and granting D.Va 1% Self-Destruct Charge for every enemy Hero damaged. Can be cast while Boosters is active.

Mechanized Walker
While in her Mech, D.Va can Basic Attack while moving, but her base movement speed is reduced by 15% while Basic Attacking (Green text portion added).

Talents

Level 1

(Q) Hit the Nitrous

Initial speed of Boosters increased to 325%, then decays to normal speed over 0.5 seconds. During this time Boosters deals 50% bonus damage.

(D) Pro Moves

D.Va's Mech gains 2% Movement Speed for 1.5 second every time she takes damage, up to 30%.

(Q) Crash Course

? Quest: Damaging enemy Heroes with Boosters lowers the cooldown by 1 second per Hero hit.
? Reward: After Damaging enemy Heroes with Boosters 20 times, enemy Heroes can now be hit 2 times per use of Boosters can take 20% increased damaged from the second hit.

(D) Easy Mode

Basic Attacks heal for 25% of the damage dealt in Mech Mode and for 30% in Pilot Mode.

Level 4

(W) Fusion Generator

Every time an enemy Hero deals damage while inside Defense Matrix, D.Va's Self-Destruct Charge increases by 1%. Max of 15% Charge gained per use.

(W) Diverting Power

The area of Defense Matrix is 100% wider and 25% longer, but D.Va's Movement Speed is reduced by 30% for the duration.

(W) Get through this!

Casting Defense Matrix grants D.Va 75 Physical Armor against the next 2 Hero Basic Attacks for 8 seconds.

Level 7

(W) Dazer Zone

Enemy Heroes affected by Defense Matrix are Slowed by 25%.

(D) Nuclear Option

Increase the delay before Self-Destruct explodes by 3 seconds. Detonation damage increased by 70%. A new Mech can still be called after 3 seconds.

(W) Aggression Matrix

Basic Attacks in Mech Mode against Heroes lower the cooldown of Defense Matrix by 0.25 seconds.

(Q) Coming Through

Increase the knockback distance of Boosters by 100% and its damage by 30%. Casting Call Mech in Pilot Mode before it explodes allows Boosters to be activated by the Mech once.

Level 10

(D) Expensive Plating

Increase Mech health by 25%, but increase the cooldown of Call Mech by 15 seconds.

(D) Emergency Shielding

When D.Va's Mech would be destroyed, it instead gains a Shield that absorbs 210 (+4% per level) damage over 6 seconds. This effect has a 15 second cooldown.

(D) Ablative Armor

Damage against D.Va's Mech that would deal 4% or less of your max health are reduced by 50%. This does not decrease the amount of Self-Destruct Charge gained.

(E) Any%

D.Va now has 20 Armor for the duration of Bunny Hop. Additionally, the effects of Bunny Hop linger for 2 seconds after occurring.

Level 16

(D) Suppressing Fire

Pilot Mode Basic Attacks have 20% increased range and Slow enemy Movement Speed by 20% for 2.5 seconds.

(D) Nanoweave Suit

For 4 seconds after ejecting from her Mech, D.Va gains 50 Armor and her Basic Attacks grant 50% more cooldown reduction towards Call Mech.

(D) GG, WP

Increase Pilot Mode Basic Attack damage by 50%. Participating in a Takedown while in Pilot Mode instantly refreshes the cooldown of Call Mech.

Torpedo Dash

Cooldown: 12 seconds
Active: D.Va gains the Torpedo Dash ability, allowing her to dash forward and pass through enemies.
Requires Pilot Mode.

Level 20

(D) MEKAfall

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Call Mech is instant and can target a location. Upon landing, the Mech deals 202 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in the impact area.

Concussive Pulse

Cooldown: 8 seconds
Active: D.Va gains the Concussive Pulse ability, allowing her to deal 141 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in a cone and knock them back.
Requires Pilot Mode.

(R1) Pew! Pew! Pew!

Instead of a single shot, Big Shot fires 3 shots over 0.5 seconds. Each shot deals 50% reduced damage. If an enemy Hero is hit by all 3 shots, they are Silenced for 2.5 seconds.

(R2/E) Stop and Pop

Micro Missiles grant thrice the normal amount of Charge and deal 20% additional damage. Bunny Hop now grants 3% Charge for each enemy damaged.
