Darion Mograine

Highlord of the Ebon Blade

Darion Mograine is the Highlord of the Knights of the Ebon Blade, an order of death knights which turned renegade after they were freed from the will of the Lich King. The son of Alexandros Mograine, a former knight of the Argent Dawn, he came into possession of the Corrupted Ashbringer after his father was murdered by his brother. Darion used it to kill himself and free his father's soul.

DEVELOPER NOTE: Obviously heavily inspired by the WoW DeathKnight class, My version of Darion Mograine is a tanky disease spreading summoner. With good players able to overwhelm their enemies with massive numbers of undead minions.

Darion's main source of damage will come from his auto attacks, scourge strike and his Virulent Plague

Combat Trait

1
Festering Wounds
Passive: Whenever Darion Mograine hits an enemy with a basic attack, A Festering Wound is left behind on the target up to a maximum of 3, lasting for 30 seconds.
Bursting Festering Wounds on a target deals XX damage and slows them by 5% per wound.
Bursting a Festering Wound also heals Darion Mograine for 5% of his maximum health.

Repeatable Quest: Burst 25 Festering Wounds.
Reward: Summon a Ghoul to serve you. Multiple Ghouls may be active at once.

NOTE: Ghouls are quite tanky but deal low damage. Ghouls are not controllable, They will have a small leash (Half of what Misha's leash is) and will engage targets near you when you enter combat.

Ghouls cannot be healed by allies but do have passive health regeneration and benefit from health regeneration globes

All Ghouls expire on Darion's death.

Primary Abilities

1
Outbreak (Q)
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Mana: XX
Range: 8 yards

Shoot forward a Virulent Plague that diseases the first enemy hit, dealing XX damage each second for 10 seconds, If your target dies whilst infected by the Virulent Plague, The Plague will spread to a nearby enemy prioritizing enemy heroes, however cannot spread to targets already infected.

NOTE: Skill shot, However you will notice the Plauge lasts longer than the cooldown, meaning good players will be able to infect entire enemy teams
2
Scourge Strike (W)
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Mana: XX
Range: Melee

An unholy strike that deals XX damage and bursts all Festering Wounds on the target.
3
Chains of Ice (E)

Heroic Abilities

1
Summon Gargoyle
Cooldown: 100 seconds
Mana: XX
Range: 6 yards

Summon a Gargoyle to bombard the target with unholy magic each second for 20 seconds.
The Gargoyle gains 5% increased damage for each second it is alive.

NOTE: Gargoyle's are attackable by the enemy team, similar to Raynors ulti.
The Gargoyles damage starts off being quite low however if allowed to live for long enough becomes extremely powerful
2
Soul Reaper
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Mana: XX
Range: Melee

Rip out an enemy heroes soul, dealing 30% of the targets maximum health after 6 seconds.
If the enemy dies whilst inflicted by Soul Reaper, gain 50% attack speed for 10 seconds.
