Highlord of the Ebon Blade

Highlord Darion Mograine works as a trippel Hybrid Hero. Pending on what level 1 talent he picks - his abilities (Q, W & E), Trait (D), one of his Ultimates (R) and even some of his talents will alter.

His base HP and base damage is also not properly set without choosing a level 1 talent as it has a great impact on both numbers.

Without any chosen level 1 talent - Darion will have a base HP of 1600 and base damage of 95.

He is a Hero that can suit most situations whom also will have a high skill cap. A great deal of his talents will also add abilities and change pending on what trait that has been chosen, giving him many options in the field of battle.

Darion's Traits will all grant him a debuff of some kind that will interact with multiple of his abilities.

His level 1 talent's / Traits (D) will grant him the following base stats:

Trait 1: Blood Presence (D)


Base Stats:

- Base Health: 2639 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 6.11 (+4 %)

- Energy: 500.
- Energy regen: 2.95

- Base Damage: 100 (+4 %)
- Attack Speed: 1.05
- Attack Range: 2

- Speed: 4.39

Trait 2: Frost Presence (D).


Base Stats:

- Base Health: 1927 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 3.87 (+4 %)

- Energy: 500.
- Energy regen: 3.12

- Base Damage: 80 (+4 %)
- Attack speed: 1.7
- Attack range: 1.2

- Speed: 4.39

Trait 3: Unholy Presence (D).

- Base Health: 1645 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 3.47 (+4 %)

Combat Trait

1
Blood Presence
Grants Darion the ability to play out as a Warrior. Increasing his base HP and grants him Blood Spec abilities and talents.

- Passive, Scarlet Fever: Whenever Darion attacks a target, he gives them the Scarlet Fever debuff for 2 seconds. During these 2 seconds, the debuffed target will deal 25% less damage from all sources to Darion.

- If Darion attacks a target that already has Scarlet Fever - it will extend it's durration up and until a maximum of 4 seconds.

Frost Presence
Grants Darion the ability to play out as a Melee Assassin. Increasing his attack speed and grants him Frost Spec abilities and talents.

- Passive, Frost Fever: Whenever Darion attacks a target, he gives them the Frost Fever debuff for 3 seconds. During these 3 seconds, the debuffed target will take 2% of their total HP as damage each second and will have their attack speed reduced by 20%.

- If Darion attacks a target that already has Frost Fever - it will extend it's duration up and until a maximum of 6 seconds.

Unholy Presence
Grants Darion the ability to play out as a Melee Specialist. Increasing his damage to Minions and Structures by 35% in addition to granting him a Ghoul Pet that he can not control but which will follow him around and do multiple things + Unholy Spec abilities, talents and passive increased movement speed.

- Passive, Blood Plague: Whenever Darion attacks a target, he gives them the Blood Plague debuff for 3 seconds Durring these 3 seconds, the debuffed target will take minor ticking damage each second and their movement speed will be reduced by 20%.

- If Darion attacks a target that already has Blood Plague - it will extend it's duration up and until a maximum of 10 seconds. Should the debuff surpass 5 seconds on a enemy hero: it's slow effect is removed and only the ticking damage remains.

- If Blood Plague is placed on a enemy minion, the minion will die when the plague expires.

- If Blood Plague is placed on a Mercenary, it will tick for 10% of their total HP as damage for each tick. This is reduced to 5% on Boss mercenaries.

- If Blood Plague is used on a Tower, Fort or Keep, each tick of damage will also remove 1 ammunition.

- If Blood Plague is used on a Healing Well - the healing wells regeneration effect will be halved down for the plagues duration.

- Ghoul Pet: Darion will automatically summon forth a Ghoul Pet that will follow him around until it dies. Upon dying there will be a 30 second cooldown before a new Ghoul is spawned. The cooldown on this will be reduced by 4 seconds for each nearby minion Darion kills with Blood Plague.
    The Ghoul Pet will attack nearby minions, mercenaries, structures and heroes, dealing light damage on heroes and heavy damage on minions, mercenaries and structures.

    If the Ghoul Pet comes close to Towers, Forts or Keeps with ammunition - they will be forced to fire at the Ghoul and the Ghoul will cast "Huddle" that will make him immune to ammunition fire for 5 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Q - Blood: Heart Strike
Strikes the target and up to two additional target should they be nearby, dealing hard damage to the main target and moderate damage to any secondary targets.

The main target of the strike will have his movement speed reduced by 50% for 1.5 seconds.

If any of the target hit by this ability has Scarlet Fever on them: they will take 30% extra damage from the strike.

Mana cost: 65
Cooldown: 8 Seconds.

W - Blood: Death Strike
A hard hitting blow which will deal moderate damage to the target at hand. Darion will be healed for 50% of the damage dealt.

If the target hit has Scarlet Fever on them: Death Strike will deal 25% more damage and will heal Darion for 75% more.

Mana cost: 80.
Cooldown: 6 Seconds.

E - Blood: Blood Boil
Emits a blood nova from Darion which will damage all nearby enemies.

If any target hit by Blood Boil is debuffed with Scarlet Fever - it's duration will be increased to 4 seconds and it will spread to all target hit by the nova.

Blood Boil deals increased damage on enemies with Scarlet Fever active.

Mana cost: 70.
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

Q - Frost: Frost Strike
Strikes the target for a moderate amount of damage.

Your melee attack speed will be increased by 15% for 2 seconds if the target hit had Frost Fever active.

Mana cost: 75.
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

W - Frost: Obliterate
A hard hitting melee attack which strikes for a high amount of damage.

If the target hit has Frost Fever active, the debuff will be consumed, Obliterate will deal 2x the damage and the target will become Vulnerable: taking 25% extra damage for 2 seconds.

Mana cost: 85.
Cooldown: 12 Seconds.

E - Frost: Howling Blast
An area of effect blast that can be used at range which will emit damage out from the target you choose.

The blast will deal hard damage to the main target and split damage between any other enemy surrounding the main target.

The blast will apply 4 seconds of Frost Fever to all targets hit.

Mana cost: 60.
Cooldown: 8 Seconds.

Q - Unholy: Plague Strike
A swift strike that deals moderate damage to the chosen target.

Plague Strike's damage is amplified by Blood Plague and causes it to deal 1.5x more damage on heroes, 3x more damage to minions and mercenaries and 6x more damage to structures.

Plague Strike used on a Tower, Fort or Keep will also remove 1 ammunition should Blood Plague be active on the structure.

Mana cost: 70.
Cooldown: 8 Seconds.

W - Unholy: Death Coil
A ranged cast which throws a Coil at the chosen target that hits for moderate damage.

Death Coil will add 3 seconds to Blood Plague should it be active on the target.

Death Coil will heal Darion for 45% of it's damage if it hits a target with Blood Plague.

Death Coil can be used on your Ghoul to heal it.

Mana cost: 75.
Cooldown: 6 seconds.

E - Unholy: Death and Decay
Creates a area of decay on the targeted location which lasts for 6 seconds and deals ticking damage to anyone standing within it.

Anyone with Blood Plague active that stands within the decay will take extra damage and will have their Blood Plague timer increased by 1 second for each second they remain within the decay.

Enemies within the decay that does not have Blood Plague will instead have their movement speed reduced by 25%.

Mana cost: 95.
Cooldown: 12 Seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Blood: Dancing Rune Weapon
Summons a Dancing Rune weapon that will attack the target you activate the weapon at for 10 seconds.

The weapon deals 25% of your basic attack damage, does not apply Scarlet Fever and heals you for 100% of it's basic attack damage dealt.

It will mimic your abilities but with some alterations -

Heart Strike: It will only deal damage to one single target, but that target will get movement speed slowed by 50% for 2 seconds.
Death Strike: 100% of the Weapons damage dealt is converted to healing for Darion.
Blood Boil: Allows Scarlet Fever to be doubled in duration - up and until 8 seconds, yet the fever will now no longer be extended by any means before it drops down to the previous max duration of 4 seconds.

For each ability you make the weapon mimic, you will take 75% less damage from basic attack and abilities for 1.5 seconds.

Mana cost: 125.
Cooldown: 120 seconds.

R - Frost: Remorseless Winter
Makes you pulsate area of effect damage around you for 5 seconds.

Each second someone takes damage, their Frost Fever duration will be increased by 1 second - should they already have or obtain Frost Fever during the 5 seconds.

Targets that does not have Frost Fever while standing within the area will - if remaining within the area for at least 3 seconds: be stunned for 2 seconds.

Any targets caught within the area will have their movement speed slowed by 50%

Mana cost: 120.
Cooldown: 100 Seconds.

R - Unholy: Summon Gargoyle
Calls down a Gargoyle at the selected target.

The Gargoyle lasts for 10 seconds and will fly after the target, casting 1 second cast time bolts of wrath that will hit them for moderate damage.

Should the target have Blood Plague on them: the Gargoyle will deal three times the damage and will extend the plagues duration by 3 seconds for each time it hits with a bolt.

The Gargoyle can be attacked and defeated.

Due to that the Gargoyle hovers over the ground while flying - it can not be affected by roots or snares.

The Gargoyle is immune to Tower, Fort, Keep damage and will deal four times it's normal damage on structures.

Mana cost: 100.
Cooldown: 60 seconds.

R - Corrupted Ashbringer
Replace your current weapon with the Corrupted Ashbringer, making it become your weapon permanently. This will give you a new ability and boost you pending on what trait you have:
Blood Presence: Your HP is increased by 15% and you take 10% Reduced damage from all sources.

Frost Presence: Each 4th Melee attack you land will be a Critical Strike. This can be used by abilities.

Unholy Presence: Your Ghoul becomes an abomination that handles more damage, deals more damage and it will also use a area of effect slam ability if 3 or more targets is close enough on a 10 second cooldown.


Ability - Wrath of the Ashbringer.

- Swing your weapon in a frontal cone, each enemy hit will get the respective Trait debuff applied / extended to max duration should they already have it. It will also cause you to buff all allies around you for 5 seconds. The buff depends on what trait you have.
Blood Presence: Allies close to you will heal from all sources of damage they deal for the next 5 seconds.

Frost Presence: Allies close to you will get attack speed bonus for the next 5 seconds.

Unholy Presence: Allies close to you will get movement speed bonus for the next 5 seconds.


Mana cost: 105.
Cooldown: 100 seconds.

Talents

Level 1 (Trait - D)


- Blood Presence.

- Frost Presence.

- Unholy Presence.

Level 4


- Block.

- Hunger for Blood / Chill of the Grave / Call of the Dead
    Using
Death Strike / Frost Strike / Death Coil on heroes with their respective debuffs active will increase their damage. After hitting 15 heroes, the used ability will have it's mana cost reduced by 50%


- Lingering presence: Your debuffs can now last for 2 seconds longer.

Level 7



- Death Grip: Activate to pull the selected target to you.

- On a Pale Horse: Your mounted movement speed is increased by 30% and all CC effects on you is reduced by 20%.

- Piercing Strike / Obliteration / Grasp of the Dead
Heart Strike now only hits 1 target, it's movement speed reduction effect is removed but it now deals more damage and heals for 15% of the damage dealt.

Obliterate has a 25% chance to not consume the Frost Fever: should this proc - your Frost Fever will deal double it's damage during the vulnerability status.

Death and Decay slows non-debuffed targets by 25% more.


Level 10 (Ultimates - R)


- Dancing Rune Weapon.

- Remorseless Winter.

- Summon Gargoyle.

- Corrupted Ashbringer.


Level 13


- Anti Magic Shell: Activate to take reduced ability damage by 75% for 3 seconds.

- Anti Magic Zone: Drops a shell around Darion that reduces the ability damage he takes and his allies within it by 33% for 5 seconds.

- Boiling Nerves / Frigid Winds / Decaying Strikes
Blood Boil: For each enemy hero hit with Blood Boil you will take 5% reduced damage for 0.5 seconds.

Howling Blast: Slows all enemies hit, reducing their movement speed and attack speed by 15% for 3 seconds.

Plague Strike: Now instantly kills mercenaries (Mercenary bosses not included)


Level 16


- Icebound Fortitude: Activate to remove any CC effect and makes you immune to more CC for the next 2.5 seconds.

- Bone Shield: Activate to absorb the next 5 incoming attacks / abilities. There is a max amount to how much damage each charge can absorb - should the amount be overextended, 1 more bone charge will be consumed.

- Rune Tap / Chains of Ice / Festering Strike
Rune Tap: Activate to heal yourself for 25% of your total HP.

Chain of Ice: Place the target in chains of ice, rooting them for 1 second, then slowing their movement speed for 3 seconds, the movement decrease starts at 75%, then decays to 50% - 25%.

Festering Strike: Strikes the target and applies as a negative status effect that makes all incoming healing done to them overt he next 4 seconds be ignored. If used on a structure - it will also destroy any MULES working on it.


Level 20



Dreadsword: Dancing Rune Weapon lasts for 5 more seconds and heals for more.

Never-ending winter: Remorseless Winter lasts for 10 seconds.

Stone Form: Upon dying or it's timer running out - the Gargoyle will enter a immune stasis for 5 seconds, after which it will return for 10 more seconds from full HP and it will chase down the previous target it was assigned too - should said target be dead it will go for the closest enemy hero.

Obey me Blade! Lose yourself to the whispers of the Ashbringer, sending you into a 10 second frenzy where you will deal more damage, take much more damage, and heal for a small proportion of the damage dealt. Should you survive the frenzy - you will be given the option for 15 seconds to nullify your talents and re-talent your hero from 1 again. You can however not change level 10 or 20 talent.

Mass grip: Pull all enemies close to you ontop of your current location.

Death to the living: Your debuffs (Trait - D) now lasts for 300% longer when applied.

Darion's regular skin is the one he wears within the Ebon Hold in Azeroth - also known as the Deat Knight Tier 8 Armor.

The amount of text here is obviously for explanatory reasons. Once any if this may or may not be integrated into the game things would have been shortened down. I'd rather properly explain all of the effects of the abilities at the ability tab rather than having a ton of confused questions down here by the comments.
