Dark Archon

Anti Mage

Dark Archon would be a utility support specializing in mana denial. Since mana denial would be a very powerful mechanic in hots I didn't want to create a hero that would be too powerful on its own, so to make up for that the team looses a body in combat.

Combat Trait

Archon Fusion
Fuse with target allied hero. Host gets +50% mana regen(also effects fury, energy etc), a 5% damage buff, and reduce all CC on target ally by 25%. If allied hero Dark Archon is fused with dies and Archon Fusion is not on cooldown Archon can cast Fusion on any ally within range rather than die. Dark Archon can only cast abilities when fused with another allied hero. When not fused with an ally hero Dark Archon moves through the battlefield like a ghost and cannot attack, be attacked or soak XP but does provide vision. If Archon Fusion is without a host and this ability is on cooldown he dies. Cooldown 90 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Feedback
Drain a small percentage of mana from target enemy and deal 50% of the mana drained as damage to targeted unit. Additionally increase the cooldown timer of any abilities target enemy has on cooldown by 50%, does not effect Heroics or Passive abilites. Host gains 100% of the mana drained. Cooldown 8 seconds.

Confusion
Target area, all enemy units in area are slowed by 10% and all non heroic enemies in area have a 50% chance to attack their allies for the next 6 seconds. Cooldown 10 seconds.

Maelstrom
All units in area around host are silenced, and host heals for 10% of the damage they deal to enemies effected by Maelstrom. Can be channeled for up to 4 seconds. Cooldown 12 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Mind Control
Gain control of target enemy unit for 5 seconds. Dark Archon can cast any non heroic or passive abilities and control the enemies movement and attack. For the duration of Mind Control targeted enemy is treated like an ally and cannot be attack by your allies, but can be attacked by other enemy units. Cooldown 100 seconds.

Argus Talisman
For the next 5 seconds if host takes fatal damage they instead lose that amount of mana. Cooldown 60 seconds.

Passive host heals for 10% of mana spent.

Special Mount

Archon Warp
Dark Archon cannot use mounts but when not Fused can teleport once every 20 seconds to an allied hero.

Tier 1 talents

Q- Minimum Feedback

Feedback always deals a minimum of 50 damage and host gains a minimum of 50 mana.



Q- Feedback Cooldown
Reduce the cooldown of Feedback by 50% and host gains an additional 25% of mana drained, but it no longer resets the cooldown timers of targets abilities.



Q- Feedback Heals
Feedback now heals the host for 50% of the mana drained.



Passive-Fusion Bonus

Quest

Increase the damage bonus of host by 1% for each hero takedown. Up to an additional 10%.

Reward- takedowns cause host abilities to cooldown 100% faster for 4 seconds.



Bonus is lost on death or if Archon fuses with a different hero.

Tier 4 Talents

W- More Confused

quest

For each enemy that dies while affected by confusion increase the chance that an enemy will attack its ally by .5% up to an additional 50%.



E- Maelstrom Damage

Host deals an additional 50% attack damage to enemies affected by Maelstrom.



Q- Feedback Damage

For 1 seconds after being affected by Feedback target takes an additional 5% damage from all heroic sources.



W- Confusion Heals

Instead of causing enemy units to attack each other confusion now causes the effected enemies to heal your allied units with their attacks.

Tier 7 Talents

W- Double Confusion

Gain a second charge of confusion, does not stack.



W- Slowed & Confused

Increase the slow amount and area of confusion by 25% and increase the cooldown by 5 seconds.



Q- Heals for Allies

Allied heroes around the host heal for 50% of the damage dealt with Feedback.



Passive- Psychic Awareness

Enemies damaged by Archon or Host are revealed for 3 seconds, and Archon can target stealthed units.

Tier 13 Talents

Q- Feedback Silence

Feedback now silences the target for 1 second.



Activate - Drain Energy

Drain 10% of the mana from all surrounding units and heal host for the amount drained. 60 seconds.



Passive- Fusion Cooldown

Quest

For each ally Archon fuses with reduce the cooldown of Dark Archon's Passive by 20 seconds and it's Z by 2 seconds. Max 4 stacks.

Activate- Protoss Observer

Summon a Protoss observer to target location, observer has stealth and soaks XP. Ability can be reactivated to move Observer. Last 20 seconds. Cooldown 40 seconds.

Tier 16 Talents

Q/W- Root the Confused

If target enemy is affected by confusion and gets hits with feedback they are rooted for 2 seconds.



Passive- Mana Armor

If host has 75% or more mana they gain 25 armor.



Q- Double Feedback Damage

If an enemy is hit with feedback within .5 seconds of being damage by one of the host attack or abilities, double the damage dealt of feedback and the host's attack.



W- Confusion Stun

If an enemy is hit with the center of confusion they are stunned for 1 second.

Tier 20 Talents

R1- Ultimate Mind Control

After mind control ends all of target enemies abilities are set to full cooldown, including heroic, passive and any activatable abilities, and they lose 50% of their remaining mana.



R2 - Argus Talisman of more healing



Host now heals for an additional 15% of mana spent.





Activate- Mana Shield

Host gains a shield for 4 seconds equal how much mana they currently have. Cooldown 30 seconds.



Activate- Self Sacrifice

Sacrifice Dark Archon to give all allied heroes a shield equal to 75% of their health. Shield decays over the course of Dark Archon's Death timer. All effected heroes regenerate mana 75% faster while they have a shield from Dark Archon. Cooldown 120 seconds.
