Deathwing (Work In Progress)

The Destroyer

Deathwing rampaged across azeroth spreading the fires of doom among its denizens until he was caught in a mysterious vortex, transporting him to the Nexus. The vortex warped his ability to transform almost permanently, stuck in his humanoid form he will destroy everything in the nexus and find a way to return to azeroth, even if he has to conjure a new cataclysm. 

Combat Trait

Corrupted Blood
X seconds cooldown.

When you take damage from an enemy hero you will spew out a blood globule onto the ground near you lasting for x seconds, when you step into a globule you are healed for XX health. When an enemy steps onto this globule they take xx damage.

Primary Abilities

Impaling Smash
(Circle Melee Skillshot) X seconds cooldown.

Smash the ground with your mace dealing xx damage to all enemies within X yards of the smash. If the smash is in range of a corrupted blood globule it will explode dealing the same damage within X yards. If additional globules are within range, ability will only trigger the globule that is closest to Deathwing.

Elementium Bolt
(Straight Line Skillshot) X seconds cooldown.

Launches a bolt of elementium steel dealing XX damage and attaching a fragment of elementium onto them that lasts XX seconds. If enemies affected with a fragment of elementium step onto a corrupted blood globule all enemies within X yards are stunned for X seconds.

Ignite Armor
(Self-Buff) X seconds cooldown.

Heats up your elementium plating with inner rage, redirecting XX% of all damage back to the source for XX seconds, your movement speed is slowed by xx% every second until Ignite Armor expires or you can activate this ability again to cancel it. Stepping onto a corrupted blood globule will reset the movement speed debuff.

Heroic Abilities

Cataclysm
(Map-wide Debuff) XX seconds cooldown

Deathwing ascends into his dragon form and flies across the map for x seconds, engulfing the entire map in a blaze of destruction, dealing XX damage to all enemy minions and mercenaries over X seconds and all enemy turrets, forts and town halls lose their ammunition and cannot regenerate any ammunition for the duration.

Whispers of Madness
(Enemy Hero Debuff) XX seconds cooldown.

Corrupt the enemy heroes mind with the whispers of the old god, taking control of them and making them attack their enemies with their basic attacks for X seconds. Some heroes may try to resist your control and are affected with a debuff.

(Hidden in-game)
Valla and Illidan: Reduces attack speed by xx% for the duration.
Nova: Reduces damage dealt by xx% for the duration.
Jaina: Passive is disabled for the duration.
The Lost Vikings: Summons all living vikings to the same location and controls all of them at once. 
Murky: Resists control resetting Whispers of Madness' Cooldown and refunding the mana cost.

Special Mount

1
Draconic Wings
4 seconds cooldown.

Deathwing can conjure his dragon wings to carry him across the battlefield.

Feedback and Additional Information.

In the past Blizzard mentioned that they wanted to add Deathwing to the Heroes roster but said they could not find a way around it because he is too big, what about his humanoid form? I know it seems a bit of an overkill but maybe the nexus restricts his dragon form to the point where he can only use it temporarily inside the nexus.

His abilities are inspired by his boss encounter as well as part of his lore such as for example when he was driven to madness by the old god N'zoth and obviously the cataclysm he conjured following his return to azeroth.

Still in progress for additional information and talents. Feedback and ideas are always nice to see.

Pros and Cons

Pro

Can restore lost health. Reducing any harassment and good against mercenary camps.

Can deal part of the enemies damage back to them.

Strong CC and can deal moderate damage.

Can disable enemy forces including Mercs and Structures with first heroic.

Can turn the tide of team fights with second heroic.
Cons

Easily susceptible to CCs.

Side-effect to Ignite Armor, slowing movement.

Cannot help defend allies indefinitely.

Stun doesn't work if enemy outmaneuvers him. 

Murky is immune to second heroic.

I am thinking of updating Deathwing to become more of a protector/CC or turning him into a Specialist. Any thoughts on this would be great!
