Horadric Sage

Deckard Caine is the last of the Horadric mages. Using Horadric magic and his many years of gathering sage wisdom, Deckard supports his team and helps them protect his squishy body.

Combat Trait

Horadric Cube
Passive: When nearby enemy minions die they might (10% ?) drop a chipped gem. When nearby heroes die, they drop a flawed gem.
Active: When activated, converts 3 gems of the same stage to the next stage. 3 chipped become 1 flawed, 3 flawed become 1 regular.
Additional Rules: Max Gem type is regular. Players can only hold 1 regular, 3 flawed, 3 chipped. If no gem conversion can occur, Attribute active button is disabled.

Extra Skills: Deckard Cain has 3 ways to use gems (Skills 1,2,3). Gem skills must be cast on a Target ally. When any Gem skill is activated, it consumes all stored gems.

Primary Abilities

Seal Evil (Q)
Deckard Cain uses Horadric Magic to bind a target enemy hero, rooting them in place for 2 seconds
Cooldown: 10s
MP Cost: Roughly 5% of Base MP

Identify (W)
Deckard Cain reveals all hidden objects in a range around him. All enemy heroes in the range are "identified" and take an extra 1% damage from allied heroes for 2s.
Cooldown: 15s
MP Cost: Roughly 10% of Base MP

Reforge(Restore?) (E)
Deckard Cain channels Horadric Magic to Restore health to an ally, rapidly consuming MP to restore HP. Every 1% of MP channeled restores 1% of Target Ally's HP.
Cooldown: 5s
MP Cost: 1% Max MP per 15 ms (100% MP in 1.5 seconds)

Target heals percentage of damage dealt for duration

Grants Target percentage damage resistance for duration
Effect: 0.25% per chipped, 0.75% per flawed, 2% per regular. Max: 5%

Heroic Abilities

Stay a While and Listen
Deckard Cain tells a story and makes all enemies in range fall asleep for the duration of the channeling.
Sleep Functionality: Sleeping heroes cannot act but wake up when they are attacked. This is a stun which can be interrupted by attacking the stunned hero. Sleeping heroes are defenseless and take extra damage from attacks while sleeping.

Duration: 5 seconds
Cooldown: 120 seconds

Extra Flavor Concept: Each time this is cast, Deckard says his iconic line then starts into one of his dialog speeches from Diablo games and continues the speech for the duration. Each time it is activated it should pick randomly from a pool to add variety.

Town Portal
Deckard Cain creates a Town Portal from his location to his Allied Core. Deckard and Allies can travel instantly from the portal location to the Core and back. Lasts for 10 seconds or until Deckard Cain uses the core portal to return.

Duration: 10 seconds
Cooldown: 120 seconds

Talents

Level 1:
3 - Lightning Enchantment: Bonus Damage Target's attacks gain Lightning Enchantment and spread to up to 3 enemies for duration
3 - Ice Enchantment: Bonus Damage Target's attacks slow enemy heroes for 0.5 seconds for duration
3 - Fire Enchantment: Bonus Damage Target's attacks additionally burn enemy heroes for 25% of the attack damage over 5 seconds for duration. Burns do not stack, hitting the enemy hero again replaces the previous burn.

Level 4:
Q - Greater Seal: Seal Evil lasts for 3 seconds
W - Book of Cain: Enemy Heroes revealed with Identify are slowed for 2 seconds
Passive - Wisdom of Age (Quest): Regeneration Globes restore Mana twice as fast. Reward: After gathering 20 Regeneration Globes, increase Mana Regeneration by 3 per second.
2 - Horadric Malice: Double Gem Effects for Life Steal so chipped gives 1%, flawed: 3%, regular: 8% (Max: 20%) *Note: Might be OP, needs playtesting.

Level 7:
Q - Deadly Seal: When Seal Evil expires or is escaped from, the Seal explodes and deals 180 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.
Q - Stubborn Seal: When Target of Seal Evil is no longer rooted, they become slowed for 3 seconds.
W - All-Knowing: Enemy vision objects revealed by Identify are destroyed.

Level 13:
E - Rapid Channeling: Channel at 1% MP every 10ms (100% in 1 second)
E - Effective Channeling: Channel 1% MP every 20ms (100% in 2 seconds) at an MP:HP ratio of 1:2. *Note: Rate might be too quick still for double effectiveness.
1: Greater Resistance: Resistance gains twice the gem bonuses so Effect becomes: 1% per chipped, 3% per flawed, 8% per regular (Max: 20%) and Duration becomes: 0.5s per chipped, 1.5s per flawed, 4s per regular (Max: 10 seconds)
W - Knowledge is Power: Damage bonus to "Identified" Heroes is increased to 5%.

Level 16:
Passive - Bigger Box: Increase the number of chipped and flawed gems that can be stored by 2.
E - Chain Channeling: If Target is fully healed, Channeling continues to nearby ally with lowest health.
W - Witty Retort: Heroes revealed with Identify deal 10% less damage for 5 seconds.


Level 20:
Passive - Massive Stash: Double the number of all gems that can be stored.
R1 - Stay a While and Glisten: Increases Stay a While and Listen Duration to 7 seconds, Increases Range, grants Allies in Range +10% damage, +10% damage resistance bonuses for duration.
R2 - Tome of Town Portal: Town Portal Duration increases to 20 seconds, can place a second Town Portal.
Active - BRB,Town: Deckard Cain rapidly creates a portal and instantly returns to the Altar. Cooldown: 80s; Mana Cost: 10

Obviously stats would need to be altered/tested. It's the concept that counts, right?
