Demon Hunter

Diablo III Demon Hunter; Other Gender Edition

Oh god I'm terrible at naming these.

Seeing as Diablo's classes have enough variety to provide two to four different playstyles each(at least), I thought I'd do my take on a second Demon Hunter. He is a Melee Assassin built around quick and deadly strikes, utilizing very temporary stealth as a reposition mechanic.

Yes. The Shadow's Mantle inspired this concept.

Rough Level 1 Stats

Health - ~1750
Attack Damage - ~90
Attack Speed - ~1.3

Passive; The other side of the spectrum
Valla uses Hatred(Pictured Left)? You use Discipline(Pictured Right).
Discipline, like Hatred, isn't the same in this. Instead, Basic Attacks grant stacks of Discipline, which are consumed by basic abilities, but not needed for them, enhancing certain effects. You gain 1 Discipline per 2 strikes on minions, and 2 per strike on an enemy hero. Max Discipline stated above.

Primary Abilities

[Q] - Bolas
Active; not biased towards them at all
Throw bolas at a target enemy, which slow them by ~35% for ~1 second, before detonating, dealing ~280 damage to the target and ~50% to nearby enemies. Discipline increases the damage by ~2% and the slow by ~1% per stack. Costs ~40 mana, and has a ~7 second cooldown.

[W] - Smoke Screen
Active; Very, Very Temporary Stealth
Enter stealth for ~1.5 seconds, gaining ~25% increased movement speed during this time. This ability breaks you out of slows when cast. Discipline is not consumed when casting Smoke Screen. Stealth is broken when attacking, being damaged, etc., removing the movement speed increase. Costs ~60 mana, and has a ~13 second cooldown.

[E] - Impale
Active; Hey, put this apple on your head.
Throw a short-ish ranged dagger in a target direction. The first enemy hit takes ~280 damage. Discipline consumed increases the range by ~2% and increases the damage by ~1.5% per stack. Costs ~50 mana, and has a ~8 second cooldown.

Instantly generate ~10 stacks of Discipline.

Heroic Abilities

[R] - Shadow Power
Active; suddenly, angel wings?
Draw upon the shadows, granting you ~15% lifesteal on all damage, double stacking on Discipline(1 per AA on minions/4 per AA on Heroes), and ~15 armor, for ~15 seconds. Costs ~80 mana and has a ~75 second cooldown.

[R] - Vengeance
Active; You'd get along with Illidan.
Become the embodiment of Vengeance, gaining ~3 'Side Guns' that fire piercing lines at nearby enemies whenever you attack, or use an ability, dealing ~100 damage to all targets hit. Additionally, gain ~20% increased movement speed, doubled when moving towards enemy heroes that have damaged you within the last ~3 seconds. Lasts ~15 seconds. Costs ~90 mana and has a ~90 second cooldown.

[R] - Marked for Death
Active; In case 2 self-buff heroics won't work
Mark an enemy hero for death; They lose ~15 armor for ~8 seconds, you deal ~15% increased damage to them(additionally), and if they are killed within that time, the cooldown of this ability is reduced by ~80%. Costs ~100 mana and has a ~100 second cooldown. The mark appears over their head.

Talents

Level 1|Tier 1
Thunder Ball - Bolas no longer consume Discipline; They instead generate ~4 when they detonate.

Level 4|Tier 2
Vanishing Powder - Smoke Screen now consumes Discipline, lasting an additional ~0.1 seconds and increasing speed by ~1% more per point spent.
Ricochet - Impale now bounces to ~2 targets besides the first, dealing ~60% reduced damage to those targets, and prioritizing heroes.

Thrill of the Hunt - Gain ~4% attack speed per stack of Discipline you currently do not have.

Level 13|Tier 5
Grievous Wounds - Impale now deals ~3% additional damage per Discipline stack.
Impending Doom - Bolas now take ~2 seconds to explode, their slow halving after the 1st second, but it additionally deals ~60% increased damage base, and ~3%(from ~2%) increased damage per Discipline stack.
Perfectionist - Increase maximum Discipline to ~25.

Level 16|Tier 6

Level 20|Tier 7
Well of Darkness - Shadow Power now halves all cooldowns and removes mana costs while active.
Dark Heart - Vengeance now additionally grants ~20 armor during its effects, as well as fires ~1 homing rocket whenever you use Impale/Bolas, which seeks the lowest health nearby enemy hero, dealing ~160 damage on impact.
Grim Reaper - A target Marked for Death now deals ~20% of all damage it receives to nearby enemies during Marked for Death.
Bowling with Bolas - Bolas gains ~2 charges(3 total), which recharge all together. Using a Bola past the first one increases the cooldown by ~2 seconds.

Uploaded. Concept lacks Level 1 Talents besides Thunder Ball, a 3rd Level 4 Talent(besides Ricochet/Vanishing Powder) at least, two Level 7s(Thrill of the Hunt is currently there), and all Level 16s.
