Destroyer charges a spell for 1,5 seconds. When successful, he flies to target destination with 350% of his movement speed. Zone of Blight: Decreases cooldown of Essence of Blight by 6 seconds.
Obsidian Shards: When Obsidian Armor's shield becomes destroyed, deal 20 (+8 per level) to all enemies within 2,5 units and slow them by 25% for 2,5 seconds.
Essence of Tenacity: Reduces duration of all crowd-control effects on affected allies by 1,5 seconds.
Annihilation Launcher: When Globe of Annihilation is toggled on, increase your Attack Range by 35%.

Obsidian Regeneration: Shield from Obsidian Armor can refresh even when taking damage, however only with 30% of it's refresh speed.
Enlightening Essence: Cooldown of allies affected by Essence of Blight are reduced by 1,25 seconds.
Protecting Essence: Allies affected by Essence of Blight take damage reduced by 30% for 1,25 seconds.
Stone Skin
Decimating Globe: Every fifth attack made with Globe of Annihilation toggled on makes enemies hit Vulnerable for 4 seconds, making them take damage increased by 25%.
Tier 7 Talents
Obsidian Crash: Base damage of Obsidian Statue is increased by 50%. When channeled for full two seconds, stun all enemies hit for 2 seconds.
Death Delivery: Removes cast time of Wings of Death and grants an additional Shadow Bomb to drop.
Devour magic is kinda useless, there isn't many buffs or debuffs in game.

Devour Magic is very powerful ability. You didn't take crowd control under consideration - these are also debuffs, so removing debuffs from your allies might be very strong, but well, I think the cooldown I gave balanses it.
Q might be just damage without talents, but with further talents this gives lots of utility. Also, Destroyer can be considered ranged tanky support (short range helps fulfill this role). Also, i.e. Morales's trait also is full defensive.
Hmm you are right with CC, but a lot of CC isn't actually magic based. Will devour magic remove stun when Diablo shovels you into wall? Also it sounds kinda unfair to Malfurion who heals with his hots and devour magic will counter him directly.

Of course it is planned to dispel all effects. Hots doesn't distinguish between physical damage and magical damage (rather damage from attacks and spells).
The whole game is about countering - ones will more effectively kill the other ones that effectively counter even the only ones etc (for example both Thrall and Nova are assassins, but the further is the one who counters Abathur more).
His trait was made to effectively survive fights as he is ranged and has low health pool, also it synergizes well with his ultimates - with Obsidian Statue, he may absorb even more damage while channeling and with Wings of Death it may help surviving flying behind the enemy.
However I'm still thinking if this Devour Magic isn't too strong with group crowd-control removal. If I'll find a nice solution, I might implement it.
