So I recently started playing WoW again, as a Warlock. So I randomly decided to make a concept based on Destruction Warlocks (the specialization I went with).
Combat Trait

[D] Soul Shards
Casting certain spells grants Soul Shards, while certain other spells consume Soul Shards for additional effects. Can hold up to 5 Soul Shards. Soul Shards degenerate at 1 per second after being out of combat for 10 seconds.
Additionally, Abilities heal the warlock for 10% of the damage dealt.
Primary Abilities

[Q] Immolate
Mana:40
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Deal ~40 damage to target enemy and ~130 additional damage over 3 seconds. Generates 1 Soul Shard.

[W] Conflagrate
Mana:70
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Launch a fireball that explodes when it hits an enemy, dealing ~120 damage in an area. Consumes up to 2 Soul Shards, gaining 20% increased radius and damage for each consumed.

[E] Summon Imp
Mana:50
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Consume a Soul Shard to summon an Imp with ~400 Health for up to 36 seconds, up to 1. The Imp will follow the warlock around, launching ranged fireballs at enemies for ~40 damage.

Cooldown: 80 seconds
Channel to deal ~700 damage over 5 seconds in an area. Gain 1 Soul Shard for each second channeled.

[R2] Chaos Bolt
Mana:60
Cooldown: 30 seconds
After 0.5 seconds, consume all Soul Shards to send a bolt of chaos energy at an enemy Hero. Deals ~130 damage for each Soul Shard consumed.

Aftermath: Rain of Fire no longer needs to be channeled and leaves behind burning embers for 7 seconds, which deal ~30 damage per second in the same area. Soul Leech: If the enemy dies within 5 seconds of being hit by Chaos Bolt, reduce the cooldown of Chaos Bolt by 20 seconds and refund 5 Soul Shards.
