Dr. Boom is the former protége of Lead Sapper Blastfizzle at Area 52. Previously known as Sparky Uberthruster, he refused to wear his protective nether helmet and, over time, became irradiated. He later became known as Dr. Boom. He set up his camp northeast of Area 52 with a majority of the goblins' sapping equipment and has terrorized Area 52 ever since.

Boom Bots
Doctor Boom's skill at constructing mechanical machines of explosions knows no limit. Instead of using Basic Attacks, Doctor Boom sends a Boom Bot for the targeted enemy every 5 seconds. These boom bots pursue the target before exploding for 50(+15 per level) damage in a 2 AOE. Boom Bots have 100(+25 per level) health and last 10 seconds each.

Mad Bombing
After a 1 second channel, Doctor Boom throws explosives at all enemies within 7 range of him. Explosives do 25(15 per level) damage for each explosion. (Can Stack)

Bomb Lob
Doctor Boom throws a bomb at the target. After 2 seconds, the target takes 50(+25) damage, with nearby enemies receiving half that amount.

Impractical Conceal
Doctor Boom throws a bomb at his feet, dealing 100(30 per level) damage to enemies near him. He then becomes invisible for 5 seconds, becoming revealed upon using an ability or constructing a Boom Bot.

Atomosophilia
Doctor Boom becomes enraged for 7 seconds. During this time, his basic abilities have a cooldown of 1 second, no cast time, deal 66% of their normal damage, and have half mana costs.

Swarm of Bots
Doctor Boom immediately spawns 10 Boom Bots around him, and for the next 10 seconds, his passive triggers on all enemies within 7 range every 3 seconds.
LANING ROLE
Doctor Boom is an AOE specialist, whose strengths rely on a lot of enemies being close together, and him being tucked in with them. Utilizing Impractical Conceal in combination with Mad Bombing can both dish out damage and get you out safely.
TEAMFIGHT ROLE
In a large fight, Doctor Boom needs to use his skills to lower the health of the enemy team. Doctor Boom does not have burst without his ultimate, and this makes dealing with one enemy problematic; He needs to use one of his ultimates to deal with them. When playing as Doctor Boom, try to make your abilities hit as many enemies as possible, weakening them for your assassins or warriors to pick them off.
COUNTERS
Doctor Boom is countered by enemies who can catch him out and deal with him, such as Zeratul. He also is not efficient at dealing with enemies who can take his damage.

Remote-Control: Doctor Boom can re target his Boom Bots using D.
Collateral Damage: If Doctor Boom damages an enemy not targeted by his Boom Bots or Bomb Lob, he regains 1% of his maximum mana per extra enemy hit
Bomb Toss: Bomb Lob has 30% increased range
Extended Timer: Boom Bots last an extra 5 seconds

Concussive Bomb: Bomb Lob stuns the main target for 0.5 seconds
Frag Dynamite: Enemies hit by Impractical Conceal are blinded for 1 second

Cornered: Enemies hit by multiple Mad Bombing explosions receive Vulnerable.

Mutually Assured Destruction: If more than one Boom Bot is targeting an enemy, all Boom Bots receive a 50% movement speed bonus.
Panic: If Doctor Boom receives damage during his Mad Bombing channel, he immediately casts the spell.

Left a Present For Ya: Upon activation, Doctor Boom spawns a Boom Bot for every nearby hero.
Lethal: Boom Bots inflict 400% their normal damage if that damage would kill their target.
Level 20
Mother of All Explosions: Atmosophilia lasts for 10 seconds, and Doctor Boom's abilities have 0.25 second cooldowns, no mana costs, deal 75% damage, and have no cast time.
Balanced Bots: Swarm of Bots now lasts indefinitely.
Bolt of the Storm: (See Ability)
The Revenge of Boom: Enemy minions that die near Doctor Boom become Boom Bots, and Boom Bots do not expire.
