Eirena the Enchantress, Kormac the Templar and Lyndon the Scoundrel, all three joined forces together to aid the Nephalem in their quest against the Prime Evil. They now roam the Nexus, still working together against champions of other universes!
Warcraft has its odd hero in Murky, Starcraft has Abathur and the classic games have the Lost Vikings... Maybe Diablo can offer a chance for its odd hero as well..
So, I love D3 followers, they are an amazing trio and I think they should be in Heroes of the Storm. Although they could arguably be good stand-alone heroes each; I believe that the Follower system itself is a good chance to add a special hero that can shift from one playstyle to another depending on the ingame circumstances.
So, this means, switching back and forth from one of three options pretty much like the Pokemon Master from Smash Bros. So, unlike the Lost Vikings, you wouldn't have the 3 followers at the same time, but only one (meaning they can be as strong as other heroes), but you have the ability to switch them around freely.
Please note that each one of them has its own set of QWE abilities (in Secondary Abilities). When reaching level 10 you may choose between a single Heroic that allows all to fight at the same time for a brief time, or another that adds a specific Heroic for each hero.
It could go like this (Not sure about numbers and common talents at all, so suggestions are 100% welcome):
Combat Trait
1
Followers of the Nephalem
Using 1, 2, and 3 allows you to switch between Kormac, Eirena and Lyndon (all share a 20 second cooldown, takes 3 seconds to cast; they all share a single HP meter). Once you receive fatal damage you stand stunned for 5 seconds before dying, but an allied hero can click you to let you recover.
Primary Abilities
1
Choose Eirena
Select Eirena the Enchantress as the main Hero, allows you to cast powerful spells to aid or stop other heroes!
2
Choose Lyndon
Select Lyndon the Scoundrel as the main Hero, allows you to fire dangerous arrows and other tricks to kill enemies!
3
Choose Kormac
Select Kormac the Templar as the main Hero, allows you to defend and heal allied heroes to help them in combat!

9
[Lyndon E] Vanish
Lyndon vanishes in a cloud of smoke, reappearing after 2 seconds.

First of all, great concept. I really love the idea of changing out the characters on the fly and feel they are nicely handicapped by sharing the same HP bar. I do however have some constructive criticism.
The amount of ultimates available is simply too much and don't stand out as particularly useful, but instead just too complicated. So instead of having so many potential ultimates, why don't you simply have two? 'Asheara's Calling' is great, but what if a second one was a passive effect (not often done, but hear me out) let's just call it 'Town Portal'. What if this passive ultimate reduced the switch out cooldown by 12 seconds (making it only 8 seconds) and when you do swap characters you are awarded by the following benefits:
Switching to Kormac heals you for 15% of your base health over 6 seconds.
Switching to Eirena creates a damage shield on yourself for 20% of your base health and knocks targets back X-amount of yards.
Switching to Lyndon increases basic attack speed by 20% for 5 seconds.
The other issue is I fear only one of the three look at all possible to deal damage and that is Lyndon, even defensive or support based characters have some way to deal damage other than basic attacks. To fix this change Kormac's 'Intervene' to deal a frontal arc of damage instead of a taunt to mercs and minions (something not needed past level 10), that causes perhaps a small basic ability shield to counteract the lack of increased HP or armour for playing Kormac over the squishier Eirena and Lyndon.
As for Eirena, simply allow 'Erosion' to not only increase damage of those affected by the ability, but also deal a small to moderate tick of damage to those standing in the puddle (think T***ader). To make her different in her basic attacks, allow hers to be a steady beam that ticks damage (Lvl 16 talent idea: reduce this basic damage beam by half, but the affected target is vulnerable), if anything to have a different feel to the repeatedly fired projectiles/arrows from Lyndon.
Overall, this is a great concept and as said before, I myself, would love to play. The only other comment I can think to make is keep a careful eye on the generic talents you have there like stoneskin, envenom, fury of the storm etc as with using 1,2 and 3 to deal with the special aspects of this character you may not have space for these abilities in the talent bar or at least they are too far away from easy activation/use in fast paced team fights. Either way, good work. :)
