Lone Druid

Of course this concept is a work in progress and is subject to change. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

This is the Druid class from Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. I tried to pick abilities from each skill tree but shape-shifting is what's iconic about the Druid and ultimately his kit is centered around that. He is labeled a Specialist because his strength mostly lies in fighting non-heroes and sieging, but he can potentially function as a warrior or assassin to a lesser extent than heroes of those roles.

Combat Trait

Heart of Wolverine (D)
Increases the passive health regeneration of you and nearby allies by 100% while you are in Druid Form.

Return to Druid Form.

This ability replaces Heart of Wolverine while in Werewolf Form or Werebear Form.

Primary Abilities

Werewolf Form (Q)
Transform into a Wolf-like creature, gaining new abilities and increasing your attack speed by 50%. However healing and regeneration effects from outside sources are half as effective while in this form.

Werebear Form (W)
Transform into a Bear-like creature, gaining new abilities and decreasing all damage taken by 20%, doubled against non-heroic sources. However, you move 10% slower while in this form.

Oak Sage (E)
Summon a spirit of Nature at the target location. Nearby ally lane minions deal 20% more damage and take 40% less damage from non-heroic targets. Ally Mercenaries gain half the effect. Lasts 5 seconds.

20 second cooldown

The spirit is stationary and buffs all ally minions are mercenaries within an area around it. Boss Mercenaries are unaffected, obviously.

Feral Rage (Q)
Werewolf Form

Lunge forward a short distance, dealing 58 (+9 per level) damage to enemies you pass through and healing you for 19 (+2 per level) for each enemy hit. Has two charges.

Rabies (W)
Werewolf Form

Cause your next Basic Attack to infect the target with a contagious disease, dealing 16 (+6 per level) damage every second. Each time the disease deals damage, it spreads to uninfected enemies close to the victim. Lasts 6 seconds.

An enemy cannot catch Rabies more than once per use of the ability.

Maul (Q)
Werebear Form

Cleave enemies in front of you, dealing 20 (+5 per level) damage and slowing their attack speed by 10% for 4 seconds. Already affected enemies take 20% more damage and are slowed by an additional 10%. Effect stacks up to 4 times.

Shock Wave (W)
Werebear Form

Shake the earth around you, enemies around you take damage and are stunned based on how close they are you. Stun ranges from 0.25 to 1 second, damage ranges from 11 (+3 per level) to 44 (+12 per level).

Heroic Abilities

Carrion Vine (R)
Only castable in Druid Form.

Summon poisonous vines to entrap the target, dealing 60 (+10 per level) damage per second and preventing them from moving or being moved by any means or disabling it if cast on a structure. Lasts 3 seconds on Heroes and Bosses or 6 seconds on Minions and Structures.

50 second cooldown

The victim cannot move or be moved from their location. They can still act, however. Affected Towers/Forts/Keeps cannot attack and lose 2 ammo per second.

Tornado (R)
Only castable in Druid Form.

Unleash a fearsome cyclone in the target direction, any enemies the Tornado passes through are picked up and brought with it. After reaching a certain distance the Tornado dissipates and picked up enemies are dropped and take 120 (+20 per level) damage.

Enemies picked up by the Tornado cannot act and are untargetable.
The Tornado moves in a straight line.

Talents

Level 1
Heart of the Wild - Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases your health regeneration by 1.
Master Shapeshifter - Werewolf Form and Werebear Form cost 15 less mana.
Raven - Activate to send out a Raven to follow the target enemy Hero for 6 seconds, giving vision of them for the duration. (25 second cooldown) Has a very long cast range.
Level 4
Shredding Attacks - Every 10 seconds, your next basic attack while in Werewolf Form deals 100% additional damage over 3 seconds. Basic Attacks reduce this cooldown by 1 second.
Solar Creeper - Oak Sage's area of effect is increased, and enemy Minions and captured Mercenaries that die within it's area restore you 5 mana.
Ferocity - Maul deals 25% additional damage to Minions and Mercenaries.
The Human Spirit - Heart of Wolverine's health regeneration increase increases by 10% every second you remain in Druid Form, up 50%.
Level 7
Festering Wound - When an enemy catches Rabies, they are Marked. Dealing damage to Marked targets deals 24.5 (+3.5 per level) damage in an area around them and removes the Mark.
Hunger - Activate to cause your Basic Attacks to heal for 40% of the damage dealt for 6 seconds. (35 second cooldown)
Epicenter - Enemies at the closest distance take 25% more damage from Shockwave.
Onwa's Blessing - While in Druid Form, your Basic Ability cooldowns regenerate 50% faster.
Level 10
Carrion Vine - Entrap the target enemy, dealing damage over time and preventing them from moving for 3 seconds.
Tornado - Send out a Tornado in the target direction, picking up and bring enemies along with it.
Level 13
Burning Rage - Deal 12 (+2 per level) damage per second to nearby enemies.

I dont think the Raven fits to your build (from mechanics).
Should be more helpfull in fight for the Druid.
At the moment ist more like "I miss Sightwards in this game, lets give him some"

Would like something like "Blinds target all XX seconds to miss the next X autoatacks" or gain Stacks to send him blind a target by picking his eyes :)
