Writhing Anomaly

"Experiment" is all it's called, a tall figure with long arms and legs, a versatile adversary who mutates itself all throughout the battle.

Combat Trait

1
Mutation Strain
Mutation Strain activates at levels 10, 16 and 20, granting Experiment bonus effects.

Tendril Arms (Level 10)
Experiment's arms become elongated tendrils, increasing his Basic Attack range by 50% & Basic Attack damage by 25%. In addition, Experiment's first Basic Attack on an enemy minion picks them up for 2 seconds, dealing 25% Maximum Health as damage and allows Experiment to throw it, dealing 25% Health as bonus damage if it hits terrain.

Hooked Feet / Husked Skin (Level 16, Choose One)
Hooked Feet: Experiment gains 25% Movement Speed, plus an additional 25% Movement Speed while he's in combat.
Husked Skin: Experiment gains 20% Bonus Health & 10 Armor.

Hunger Gene / Bloodletter (Level 20, Choose One)
Hunger Gene: Experiment heals for 20% of all damage dealt. When hitting an enemy non-Hero under 12% Maximum Health, Experiment devours it, gaining 8% Bonus Health until he dies, up to 24%.
Bloodletter: After killing an enemy, Experiment deals 5% increased damage, up to 20% for 4 seconds & deals an additional 6% damage over 3 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Swipe
Cooldown: 4s

Experiment swipes his claws in front of him, dealing 76 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in a cone. For each enemy hit by Swipe, reduce the cooldown by 1 second. Experiment heals for 10% of damage dealt.

For each recast of Swipe within 2 seconds, Swipe deals 10% increased damage, up to 30%.

Shriek
Cooldown: 13s
Passive: Whenever an enemy Hero damages Experiment, he gains 10% Movement Speed and increases the damage of Swipe by 10% for 3 seconds.

Experiment shrieks as loudly as he can, breaking free from any Crowd Control effects. Enemies near Experiment when he shrieks are Feared for 1.75 seconds, causing them to run at 75% Movement Speed in the opposite direction, and they take 20% Increased Damage while Feared.

While moving away from a Feared target, Experiment gains 20% Movement Speed.

Scowl
Cooldown: 8s
Passive: Whenever Experiment takes lethal damage, he blinks behind his attacker and instantly casts an enhanced Swipe. This has a cooldown of 60 seconds.

Experiment freezes himself in place for up to 2 seconds. If an enemy Hero approaches and looks in the direction of Experiment, he will teleport behind his victim and Slow them by 75% for 1 second. For 3 seconds afterwards, Experiment's Attack Speed is increased by 30%, and his Basic Attacks Slow his target by 12% for 3 seconds.

Experiment increases all sources of Healing received by 100% for 4 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Sprint
Cooldown: 30s

Experiment gains 100% Movement Speed and dashes in a straight line with his arms extended & claws erect. Any enemy Heroes hit by Experiment's mad dash are dealt 141 (+4% per level) damage, Knocked Aside and Experiment heals for 45% of the damage dealt. If he hits an enemy Hero under 10% Maximum Health, he will instead Execute them and heal for 100% of the damage dealt.

Savage
Cooldown: 40s

Experiment lunges his claws into his target enemy Hero, dealing 104 (+4% per level) damage and lifting them into the air for up to 3 seconds. At any point, Experiment can recast this while an enemy Hero is on his claws to throw them to a nearby area, dealing an additional 163 (+4% per level) damage in an area if they hit terrain or another enemy Hero.

Kills made with this ability reduce the active cooldown by 25%.

Special Mount

Compensation
Experiment's limbs are far too long to fit on a mount, so along with multiple Movement Speed increasing abilities, Experiment can activate this ability (Z) to sprint, gaining a burst of 30% Movement Speed for 3 seconds. (Only while not in combat.)

Level 1

Counting DNA-Helixes (Mutation Strain)
Experiment acquires his Mutations 1 level earlier.

Abnormal Armor (Mutation Strain)
Depending on what kind of damage Experiment took most when he acquires his first Mutation, he will permanently gain 10 Armor or Spell Armor.

Mutagenic Power (Mutation Strain)
! Quest: Deal 35,000 damage to enemy Heroes.
Reward: Any percentage amounts granted by Mutation Strain are increased by 10%.

Level 4

Bloody Claws (Swipe)
Swipe deals 80% of its damage on impact, plus an additional 35% damage over 2.5 seconds. The DoT effect can stack on a single enemy two times.

Paralyzed By Fear (Shriek)
Rather than Fearing enemies, they are instead Rooted for 2.25 seconds.

Petrify (Scowl)
When Experiment teleports behind his enemy, he instead Stuns them for 1 second.

Level 7

Unceasing (Swipe)
If Swipe hits 3 or more enemies with a single cast, Experiment can instantly recast it for free. This happens as long as Swipe hits 3 or more targets.

Voracity (Shriek)
Shriek not only breaks existing Crowd Control on Experiment, it now makes him immune for 2 seconds after using Shriek.

Hunger (Active)
Experiment increases all Healing received by 100% for the next 4 seconds.

Level 13

Microbe Rot (Passive)
Experiment's Basic Attacks deal bonus damage equal to 0.4% Maximum Health over 2 seconds, stacking up to 10 times.

Unbroken (Passive)
When Experiment dies, he resurrects in place with 20% Maximum Health for up to 6 seconds. Damage dealt by Experiment in this state is increased by 75%. This ability has a 120 second cooldown.

Blood Stench (Passive)
Enemy Heroes under 25% Maximum Health are Revealed to Experiment & he gains 35% Movement Speed while moving towards them.

Level 16

Long-Armed Strongarm (Passive)
Experiment's Basic Attack range is further increased by 25%. His first Basic Attack on an enemy Hero every 4 seconds will Pull them 25% closer to Experiment.

Unmoving Eyes (Scowl)
Scowl's cooldown is reduced by 50%, including the passive cooldown.

Darkened Heart (Passive)
Ranged Basic Attacks have a 25% chance to miss Experiment. When this happens, the attacking enemy Hero is Pulled 25% closer to Experiment, Slowed by 25% for 3 seconds & deal 20% reduced damage to Experiment for the duration.

Level 20

Murder Frenzy (Sprint)
Sprint now Executes enemy Heroes that are under 25% Maximum Health.

Sharp Claws (Savage)
Enemy Heroes picked up by Experiment now take 35% bonus damage while held in the air. If he throws them before this finishes, they take the rest of the damage on impact.

Forever Growing (Mutation Strain)
Percentage amounts granted by Mutation Strain are further increased by 7%.

Clawking (Swipe)
If Experiment hits at least one enemy Hero with Swipe, the next Swipe's damage is increased by 15% and the cooldown is reduced by 3 seconds.
