Fandral Staghelm

Master Shapeshifter

As the leader of the Night Elf race, Fandral Staghelm grasps onto the ancient elven ways to teach his fellow night elves. He believes night elves are the only true druids. Though his radical beliefs and aggressive behavior may not be his best traits, he makes use of them against his enemies in combat to protect his "master race".

Combat Trait

1
Natural Recovery
Upon activation while in another form, you will be returned to your original form.
For each form previously entered, up to 3, you will gain a stack of lifebloom.

Lifebloom- Heal a small amount per second. When this effect expires, receive a moderate burst heal. (1-3 sec tick with scaling "burst heal" based off number of stacks)

Primary Abilities

Bear Form
Transform into the spirit of the bear. 

Upon activation gain ironbark. 

Ironbark- Grants a shield proportionate to character level.


This skill is replaced with Intimidating Roar.

Cat Form
Transform into the spirit of the panther.

Upon activation gain Predatory Instinct. 

Predatory Instinct- Gain stealth allowing you to also see other enemies in stealth. Your first attack breaks this effect.


This skill is replaced with Rake.

Travel Form
Transform into the spirit of the stag.

Upon activation gain the ability to carry a teammate. 


This skill is replaced with Impactful Leap.

Secondary Abilities

Intimidating Roar
Taunt your foe, forcing them to attack you. (Single target, short duration)

Rake
Empower your next attack, causing your target to bleed. Usable in stealth.

Impactful Leap
Leap to targeted area. Can pass over terrain. Upon impact cause Wind Gust blinding nearby enemies within the area. 

Wind Gust- Wind stirs sending dirt at your enemies.

Heroic Abilities

Moonkin Form
Transform into the spirit of the Moonkin. This form empowers your Wrath auto attacks and grants new abilities. 
(Moderate Duration)


Starfall- Shower your enemies with falling stars. Prioritize enemy heroes closest to you. 
(Limited duration or stacks) 

Insect Swarm- Enemy target is swarmed by insects. This ability will spread once per enemy nearby dealing damage and slowing affected targets. 
(Non burst moderate damage over time)

Summon Treants
Summon three treants to aid you and your allies. Each treant casts Nourish per second. Allies healed when full health receive Living Seed.

Nourish- Short cast single target heal.

Living Seed- Applied to allied target healed past maximum health. Living Seed stores health in the form of a shield on the allied target.

Special Mount

Flight Form
Transform into a raven instead of using a mount. This ability is usable in combat.

Possible Talents?

Master Shapeshifter- Reduces Natural Recovery cooldown.
(Alternative- Reduces cooldown of all main forms by said number of seconds.)
Renewal- Activate to heal 30% of your health. Usable in all forms.
Heart of the Wild- Activate to empower all form's basic attacks.
Thorns- Cast thorns upon entering Bear Form.
(This ability could also be swapped with the shield upon Bear Form activation instead of a talent.)
Bash- Upon entering Bear Form, next outgoing attack stuns the target. (short duration)
Displacer Beast- Activate to enter Cat Form and teleport a short distance.  

Infected Wounds- Bleeding targets have reduced movement speed.
(Possibility?- Bleeding targets have reduced healing received.)
Sharpened Claws- Increases Cat Form damage.
Feral Charge- Upon entering Cat Form, next outgoing attack causes you to leap a short distance to your target slowing them briefly.
Vortex- Empower Wind Gust leaving behind a vortex to slow enemies.
(Possible addition?- Also sucking enemies to the center.)

Swift Flight Form- Gain a short burst of speed upon entering Flight Form.
Also visually enhances Flight Form to the greater raven.
Owlkin Frenzy- Increase Moonkin Form ability damage.
Infusing Roots- Treants will also restore mana to targets healed.
Soul of the Forest- (Alternative- Treants combine into a single large treant granting the ability to heal all allies in range for each cast.)

Druid Forms

Each druid form will go on cooldown after leaving said druid form.

For example: Bear Form's cooldown will begin after entering another druid form, caster included.


Each druid form's specific ability will then be replaced with the original spell to enter said druid form.

For example: After Bear Form is cast and you gain the ability Intimidating Roar in its slot, shape shifting into another druid form will restore that slot with Bear Form again.

The above applies to the first 3 druid forms.


Moonkin Form will act as a whole new action bar giving you the 2 abilities until the duration expires and then the heroic ability will go on cooldown.


~Possible addition- Have each form have modified armor/damage/health to better match the appropriate druid forms.

Wrath Auto Attack

In night elf form, each auto attack would send out a wrath spell.

The animation should be a side hip cast outward or perhaps both hands together in front of chest conjuring the wrath spell.

This is wonderful! Put more detail into the talents and I'm sure many more will support this hero!
