The druid can shapeshift into any form from any form. Shapeshifting has a 8 second cooldown.
Primary Abilities
1
Catform
Transforms your hero into a cat. Your hero gains 10% increased attack damage while in catform. You are using energy instead of mana, which is generated over time, at the rate 20 energy/ second. Does not generate energy when in other shapes.
2
Bearform
Transforms your hero into a Bear. You take 20% less damage when in bear form. You are using fury instead of mana, which is generated by taking/ dealing damage with basic attacks. Does not generate fury when in other shapes.
3
Travelform
Increases your hero's movement speed by 20%. CC against you is reduced by 40% while in travelform.
Secondary Abilities
1
Swipe
Damage enemies in front of you. 1 second cooldown, 40 energy cost. Your next basic attack strikes immediately. Only available in catform.
2
Wild Charge
Skillshot. Charge in the direction, damaging and slowing every enemy hit by 20% for 2 seconds, generating 20 energy for every enemy hero hit on the way. 20 energy cost, 8 second cooldown. Only available in catform.
3
Protector of the pack
Decreases all damage done to you and nearby heroes by 20% for 4 seconds or until you're killed. 12 second cooldown, 15 fury cost. Only available while in bear form.
4
Rip
Deal damage and slow the target by 30% for 2 seconds. 10 fury cost, 4 second cooldown. Only usable while in Bearform.
Heroic Abilities
1
Berserk
When used in Bear Form, Removes all CC and prevents their reapplication for 2 seconds. You take 20% reduced damage during that time.
When used in Cat Form, reduces the energy cost and cooldown of all Cat Form abilities by 30% and lasts 6 seconds.
Cannot shapeshift during berserk. Usable in Cat- and Bearform. Cooldown 70 seconds, no cost.
2
Savage Roar
Slows nearby enemies by 50%, decaying over 4 seconds and intimidates them, causing them to deal 25% less damage. No cost, 60 second cooldown. Usable in Cat- and Bearform.
I obviously played some WoW in my life, and I particurlarly enjoyed playing feral druid. Having such a hero in Heroes would make the game even more enjoyable. Hope you're having fun reading about him a little bit here.
Talents
Level 1:
● Block ● Increase Rip slow duration to 3 seconds ● Feral Leech - Auto Attacks heal you for 15% of the damage dealt. ● Regeneration Master
Level 4:
● Dire Shapeshift - decrease shapeshift cooldown to 5 seconds ● Claw - Increases arc of Swipe by about 20% ● Focused attack ● Increase Swipe damage by 25%, but also increases energy cost to 55.
Level 7:
● Feral Swiftness - Increases your movement speed by 10% when in Cat- and Travelform ● Feral Insctincts - Reveal a small area around your hero when he is in Bear or Catform ● Increases range and width of Wild Charge by 20% ● Follow Through
Level 10:
See above
Level 13:
● Spell Shield ● Increases the damage mitigation by Protector of the Pack to 25% ● Leader of the Pack - Protector of the Pack also increases your and allied heroes movement speed by 20% ● Feral Charge - Increases the slow amount of Wild Charge to 30%
Level 16:
● Wild Charge gains a second Charge ● Wild Charge cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds for every enemy hero hit ● Eviscerate - Rip stuns the target enemy for 0.75 seconds before the slow is applied ● Bleeding - Rip makes the target vulnerable for the duration of the slow
Level 20:
● Rampage - Increases the duration to 8 seconds, the damage reduction in bear form to 30%, the Unstoppable duration to 3 seconds and the CD and cost reduction on Catform abilties to 50%. You can also shapeshift during Berserk now. ●Animal Furor - Decrease cooldown by 20 seconds and ability is now global. ● Hardened Bones - Take 75% less damage in the next 4 seconds. Shapeshifting is possible while this is active. ● Bolt of the storm
Implying this concept would hit live, those are the changes I would see the first week.
Travel Form: CC against you is increased by 25% while in travelform.
[*] Classic/easy way of killing a druid in WoW is and should always be catching him on Travel form, this way using Travel inside a TF or as a tool to escape/engage should take more skill and would become engaging, instead of a no-brainer.
Energy Regen up to 2 seconds.
Level 4 talent "Increase Swipe damage by 25%, but also increases energy cost to 55." increase damage by 30% reduced to 50 energy.
[*] Swipe should have **** base damage and only do something serious if talented as for Cat form.
Bolt of storm is removed.
[*] That's a design flaw. Instant mount and bolt of storm? Not even Rehgar gets that.
SAVAGE ROAR "Slows nearby enemies by 50%, decaying over 4 seconds and intimidates them, causing them to deal 25% less damage. No cost, 60 second cooldown. Usable in Cat- and Bearform." and intimidates them, causing them to deal 25% less damage, to you.
[*] Never make abilities that have no counterplay. If you want to make your hero tanky, do it. But butchering 1/4 of the enemy teams damage to everyone is not a solution.
As for the abilities, they are pretty messed up and the fact that they only get 2 is even worse.
I would go with
Catform: Transforms your hero into a cat. Your hero gains 10% increased attack damage while in catform. You are using energy instead of mana, which is generated over time, at the rate 20 energy/ 2seconds. Does not generate energy when in other shapes.
[*] Mangle: Above average single target damage, can be talented to give vulnerability or increased damage to damage over-time abilities. 30 Energy cost, 2 sec cooldown.
[*] Rip: Bleed attack, moderate damage, slows for 20% for 2 sec. 6 sec cooldown. 20 Energy.
[*] Maim: Weak single target damage, Incapatiate for 1.5 seconds (stun but if hitten it breaks), Melee range, 10 sec cooldown, 35 Energy, access to talent at level 13 for increased damage by 1000%, which will make it deal acceptable damage instead of being a peeler a bit less than a Sonya slam.
Bear Form: Transforms your hero into a Bear. You take 20% less damage when in bear form. You are using fury instead of mana, which is generated by taking/ dealing damage with basic attacks. 5 fury generated each time you get hitten by an auto-attack, 10 fury gained when you auto-attack.
[*] Feral Charge: Mediocre Single target damage, 1 sec root. Requires 0 fury, 10 sec cooldown.
[*] Bash: Stun the target for 1 second and 25 fury cost if not talented and can go up to 2 sec but requires 40 fury. 14 sec cooldown.
[*] Swipe: Weak AoE Damage, melee range. Can be taleneted to do decent damage and heal you for 2% per target hitted, 10% Max. 4 sec cooldown.
I will not go through the talents etc. But imagine the cat as a scalling assasin, you start as a setuper and evole to a predator going through 20% increased healing in cat form, increased damage on Maim, make mangle increase damage over-time which would buff your Rip and enable DoT combos, like Sylvanas, KT, Envenom etc., 10% increased movement speed in cat form and 5% in travel form.
As for the bear I would make it go more of a peeler, since you already take 20% reduced damage and you have savage roar as a "I'm tanking, go ham" button make the talents conflict a lot with the cat form talents so one does not have the option to take both of them, lets say on the tier the Cat druid gets the Maim talent, put your Bash talent and make it stun for 2 sec. On the level they get mangle increased damage, you give Feral Charge either 1 sec stun or 1.5 sec root. etc.
Anyway, after all this I realised that if they wanted to actually make a hard druid they would make his forms a trait that you chose on level 1 and they would add some normal abilities with it, like Faerie Fire, Rejuvenation, Cylcone. But that takes us to a whole new concept of a hero.
Maybe because this isnt a nice concept... its just wow abilities and you forget MUCH... what are the abilities in your normal form.... you have in cat form 2 abilities and in bear form also 2.... and travel form also to it? its just a bad version of a wow feral druid... dont get me wrong but hots is not wow. a good shapeshifter champ for example is Nidalee from League of Legends... and i also hope they will bring a feral druid ingame but i hope that his first talent is like kharazim talent where he has to decide if his trait transforms him into a bear or a cat (NO Travelform or maybe as mount) and that he has a small heal root and maybe a vision ability in his normal form...
