Fenix

Steward of the Templar

Background: Fenix was a protoss zealot, and praetor of the Protoss Defense Forces. He personally led his fellow warriors into battle against those who called themselves the enemies of the Protoss Empire. Revered by his warrior-brethren, he was dubbed the Steward of the Templar.

Health: 2146 (+4%/level)
Energy: 500 (+4%/level)
Attack Damage: 56 (+4%/level)
Attack Speed: 1 (strikes twice)

Concept Summary:
A warrior dedicated to taking damage and peeling for his allies, Fenix harnesses the power of his enhanced plasma shields and martial prowess to draw damage to him instead of allies. Such is his dedication that even in the face of death, he marches on as a Dragoon to provide ranged support to his team.

Combat Trait

Even in Death
Cooldown (Passive): 120 seconds
Cooldown (Active): 60 seconds

Upon taking fatal damage Fenix will warp out and after 3 seconds warp back into the battlefield from where he fell as a Dragoon with a ranged attack and a new set of basic abilities. If the Dragoon is destroyed within 60 seconds, Fenix will have his death timer increased by 50%. If the Dragoon survives for 120 seconds, Fenix may activate the trait to revert back to Zealot form.

Primary Abilities

Martial Prowess
Ability Key: Q
Energy: 50
Cooldown: 11 seconds

Dashes quickly to a target location or allied Hero dealing 80 (+4%/level) damage to enemies in the way. If the target is an ally, Fenix moves in front of his ally and grants both of them resistant for 3 seconds, reducing damage taken by 25% and reducing the cooldown by 3 seconds.

(Replaced by Singularity Pulse in Dragoon form)

Retaliation
Ability Key: W
Energy: 30
Cooldown: 4 seconds

Prepares to intercept an enemy attack for 2 seconds (also roots Fenix in place). If Fenix takes damage from heroes he reflects 75% of the damage taken back to its source. If the source is nearby, Fenix immediately dashes toward them and strikes them immediately with a basic attack.

(Replaced by Disruption Dispersal in Dragoon form)

Barrier
Ability Key: E
Energy: 75
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Gains a 924 (+4%/level) shield and extends a barrier around Fenix for 3 seconds. All damage taken by allied heroes inside the barrier is absorbed by the shield until the shield is consumed or expires.

Fires a bolt at a target area that pulls enemies into the center of the blast, dazing them. Deals 184 (+4%/level) damage.

Disruption Dispersal
(Dragoon Ability)
Ability Key: W
Energy: 65
Cooldown: 13 seconds

Fires an overcharged shot high into the air over a large area that disperses into smaller orbs that bombards the area for 5 seconds. Enemies in the area take 108 (+4%/level) damage per second.

Heroic Abilities

Hardened Shield
Ability Key: R
Energy: 100
Cooldown: 75 seconds

Grants a shield that reduces the damage taken greater than 5% of Fenix's maximum health down to 5% maximum health in damage for 6 seconds.

Upgrade: Persisting Shell (Quest)

Reduces cooldown by 15 seconds and each time Fenix takes damage while Hardened Shield is active increases the duration of the next activation by 0.25 seconds up to 10 seconds.

Reckless Charge
Ability Key: R
Energy: 100
Cooldown: 80 seconds

After a 1 second delay, Fenix charges at a target direction for a long distance. The first enemy hero he collides with is dragged along for the rest of the charge while other enemies are pushed aside and take 143 (+4%/level) damage. The dragged enemy takes 285 (+4%/level) damage and is knocked back a short distance when the charge ends.

Upgrade: We Stand as One

Two Zealots warp in to charge with you that also deals damage and can drag one enemy hero with them each.

Special Mount

Locomotor Overdrive
Cooldown: 45 seconds

Redirect all power to your locomotors increasing your movement speed by 50% for 4 seconds but become unable to attack and use your abilities.

(Usable in Dragoon or Immortal Form)

Talents

Tier 1

Shield Battery(Quest) - Gathering regeneration globes gives Fenix a permanent shield that regenerates quickly (5% per second) when out of combat for 3 seconds. Each globe gathered increases the maximum shield amount by 25 up to a maximum of 625 shields.

Shattering Blasts(Trait) - Attacking the same target in Dragoon form increases the damage of the next basic attack by 20(+4%/level) damage per hit.

Stoicism(Q) - Martial Prowess' range is 25% further when using on allies.

Tier 2

Zealous Strikes - Basic attacks in Zealot form heal for 15% of the damaged dealt and is increased by 5% with each attack performed within 2 seconds up to 30%.

Singularity Charge(Trait) - Increases the attack range of the Dragoon by 1.

Unbreakable(E) - Barrier negates the first instance of damage taken.

Tier 3

Energized(W) - Deflecting damage increases movement speed by 25% for 3 seconds. Dashing to an enemy that damaged you increases the bonus to 60% decaying over 3 seconds.

Unyielding(W) - If Retaliation is activated within 1.5 seconds after using Martial Prowess it will reflect 100% of the damage taken plus an additional 25%.

Gravity Warp(Trait) - Warping in as a Dragoon and damaging enemies with Dragoon abilities slow enemies by 25% for 3 seconds.

Tier 4

Tier 5

Merciless Assault(Q) - Martial Prowess can now be targeted at enemy heroes and causes you to dash to their front (like Illidan's dive) and causes them to take damage twice from the ability.

Dome of Force(E) - Increases Barrier radius by 15% and shields by 10%.

Blade of the Furioso - Using an ability causes your next basic attack within 6 seconds to deal 30% increased damage and causes you to charge to your target.

Tier 6

Ability Prowess(Q) - Martial Prowess gains a Charge.

Retribution(W) - Allows movement when using Retaliation and increases counterattack time by 1.5 seconds.

Shield Smash(E) - You may reactivate Barrier while it is active to destroy it and deal 30% of the remaining shield amount as damage to nearby enemies. This also heals you for 30% of the remaining shield amount but increases the cooldown of your next barrier by 8 seconds.

Tier 7

Persisting Shell - See Heroic Abilities

Immortality Protocol(Trait) - Become a mighty Immortal when you activate Even in Death. The Immortal deals 43% more damage and has 60% more health and can attack while Locomotor Overdrive is active but has it's attack range reduced by 1 and cannot use the Dragoon's abilities.

Ancient Defender(Trait) - Increases healing and shields received by 35%.
