Fenix

Dragoon

This concept is top showcase what a potential Dragoon kit could look like, and incorporates some aspects of Protoss Immortal units.

Fenix is a high damage, slow attack speed, AA assassin. He excels in poke and siege comps. His trait is strong against burst comps and high damage attacks, making him somewhat of a ranged bruiser, though he is weak to fast attacks and sustained damage.

I specifically avoided having a resurrection trait because I find it far too situational and gimmicky to be reliably useful. I felt that incorporating the mechanic into an activatable ultimate made for better strategic gameplay options.

Hardened Shields
Damage from all sources is capped at 7.5% of Fenix's max HP.

Primary Abilities

Warp Bolt
A vector based Skillshot that allows you to fire a straight line projectile in any direction, from anywhere within a small radius around Fenix. Deals moderate damage to all units is passes through.
30 mana. 8s Cd.

Lurch
Dash a short distance in target direction, knocking aside and dealing light damage to enemies hit.
40 mana. 14s CD.
3
Overcharge
Gain 200% attack speed for 2 seconds.
25 mana. 10s CD.

Heroic Abilities

Resugence
Transform into a Protoss Zealot for 20 seconds, gaining a 200 HP shield, 50% attack speed, and melee attacks. Q becomes a charge attack. W becomes a short range dash. E remains unchanged. Return to Dragoon form 1.5 seconds after death or expiration.
100 mana. 80s CD.

Focused Beam
A vector based attack that deals damage in a short line along the ground. Can be cast while moving.
40 mana. 20s CD.

Talents

Level 1
[Quest]: Hitting 25 enemies with Warp Shot reduces its mana cost by 50% and CD by 2 seconds.
[Quest]: Attacking enemies 50 times while Overcharge is active increases basic attack speed by 20%.
Preemptive Barrier: Lurch grants 20% spell armor for 3 seconds.

Level 4
Lunge: Lurch gains 30% extra range.
Warp Projectors: Increase the cast area and range of Warp Shot by 15%
Critical Charge: Overcharge duration increased by 1 second.

Level 7
Emergency Barrier: If Fenix takes 20 instances of damage without activating Hardened Shield, Gain a 200 HP shield for 4 seconds. Can only activate once every 20 seconds.
Reflecting Shell: Deal 50% of the damage negated by Hardened Shield in a short area around Fenix.
Cycle Warp Projectors: Hitting an Enemy with Warp Shot grants a free cast of it within the next 2 seconds.

Level 13
Warp Shock: Hitting an enemy with Warp Shot Causes Fenix's next basic attack against them within 3 seconds to deal 50% extra damage.
Improved Shields: Reduce the damage threshold of Hardened Shield to 5% max HP
Advanced Targeting Systems: Reduce the duration of Blinds by 60%

Level 16
Combat Reflex: Hardened Shield activation refreshes Lurch CD.
Phase Disruption: Basic attacks during Overcharge ignore Armor.
Concussive impact: Lurch knock back increased by 20% and stuns enemies hit for 1 second.

Level 20
The Glory of Battle: Resurgence lasts until death, and initial shields recharge over time.
Flare Up: Focused Beam gains 20% range and burns ground for a short duration, dealing moderate damage to enemies in it.
Singularity Charge: Basic attack Range increased by 25%
