Designed to be mechanically similar to Tracer (no mana, must build ultimate meter to use heroic ability starting from level 1) while having a fair amount in common with various assassins such as Illidan, Valla and Zeratul. My concept of Genji is a medium range attacker with a powerful melee-range heroic, versatile abilities that allow him to evade/redirect damage, and a trait that allows him to buff his damage and speed or alter how his basic attack functions.
Combat Trait
1
Discipline
Each stack of Discipline increases basic attack damage by 1.5% and movement speed by 0.5%. Trait can be activated to modify Genji's basic attack, allowing him to throw 3 shurikens at the same time. Each triple throw consumes 1 stack of Discipline. Maximum stacks of Discipline is 20 and resets upon death.
Primary Abilities
1
Swift Strike
Genji dashes forward in a straight line, damaging any enemies in his path for 156 damage (+4% per level).
Cooldown: 6 Seconds
2
Cyber Jump
Genji leaps in target direction. Cyber Jump can be used to break out of rooting and slowing effects. Cannot be used while stunned.
Cooldown: 8 Seconds
3
Deflect
Swing sword for 1 second, reflecting any incoming ability damage to their sources.
Cooldown: 10 Seconds
Secondary Abilities
1
Basic Attack
Throws one shuriken. Every 5 basic attacks grants 1 stack of Discipline.
Heroic Abilities
1
Dragonblade
Enter an enhanced melee state, increasing movement speed by 25% (this can stack with Discipline's movement speed buff) and replacing basic attacks with sword strikes that each inflict 175 (+4% per level) damage. Dragonblade lasts 6 seconds.
