Genji Shimada

The cyborg ninja

Genji is a versatile assassin who is good at finishing off enemies with low health, survival and fighting in melee or at distance depending on your choice. His combat trait can be selected by talents like Kharazim and that will determine how he fights and keeps himself alive.
However, he has a relatively low health pool and no CC abilities. He also has a high difficulty.
Genji do not use mana, he has no battle resources other than CD.

HP: 1500 + 4%
AA: 90 + 4%, range
Attack speed: 1.3 per sec

Combat Trait

The cyborg ninja
With his deadly ninja training and advanced combat suit, Genji has a variety of ways to damage his opponents and keep himself alive.
His level 1 talent determines how he fights his enemy, with range AA, melee AA or abilities.
His level 4 talent improve his resistance against AA, AOE spell or CC effects.

Primary Abilities

Fan of shurikens
Range: 6 units
CD: 4 sec
Width: Raynor's Q
Genji throws three shurikens in a wide spread (your chosen direction, 35 degree to the left and to the right). Each of them deal 250 + 4% damage to all non-heroes in the path and 160 + 4% damage to the first hero hit. The hero will take 30% more damage from Genji for the next 3 sec. This effect does not stack.

Range: 4.5 units

CD: 8 sec
Genji darts forward, slicing the air with his katana and passing through foes in his path. Deal 180 + 4% damage to all foes hit in the way. If any hero dies to this ability or within 1.5 sec after hit, its CD is reduce by 6 sec.

With lightning-quick swipes of his sword, Genji gains protected against all AA and reflects 50% of its damage to the attacker for 2 sec.
He is also immune to stun for the duration.

Secondary Abilities

Double jump
Range: Melee range
CD: 2 sec
Jump over an enemy to his back or jump over an obstruction to the other side.
This ability can be gained by his level 4 talent and will take up the "D" button

CD: 1 sec
Disables Genji's range AA and only allows him to use his katana.
Press again to enable his range AA
This ability can be gained by his level 1 talent and will take up the "1" button

Heroic Abilities

Dragonblade
CD: 60 sec
Genji brandishes his dragonblade for 6 sec. Until he sheathes his blade, Genji can deliver killing strikes to any targets within his reach. His AA range is decreased to twice as long as the melee range, but his AA damage is increased by 150% + 5% of its maximum health. His AA also deals 50% splash damage to any one standing within 120 degree in front of him.

Projectile speed: twice as fast as his AA or Q
Genji throw out a deadly shuriken that aims at the head of his enemy. Deal 160 + 4% damage to the first hero hit in the track. This ability deals 250% extra damage if the target is affect by his Fan of shurikens.

Level 1: master of shuriken
Genji's AA also throws two more shurikens that track his target. These shurikens deal 75% of his AA damage but can be blocked by other enemy heroes.
His Fan of shurikens deals 50% more damage.

Level 1: master of katana
When Genji's target is within his melee range, he strikes it with his katana instead of throwing shurikens. In this case his damage is increased by 150%. He gains the ability "Change weapon"
His Swift strike deals 50% more damage.

Level 1?master of ninjutsu
Genji's ninjutsu enhances his basic abilities. All of their CD is reduced by 1 sec. His Fan of shurikens and Swift strike deal 50% more damage and another 25% more damage if his target is below 50% health.

Level 4: Regeneration suit
Genji's health regeneration is increased by 150% if he takes damage within 3 sec.

Level 4: Impetus suit
Gain the ability "Double jump"

Level 4?Advanced alloy suit
Genji suffers 30% less from CC effect and when he is affected, he receives a 30% damage reduction. The damage reduction effect has an internal CD of 20 sec
