Goblin Sappers are a team of 2 goblins that specialize in area damage. They can be controlled together or separately, but cannot move too far away from each other.

Mana: 500 (+4.0%)
Damage: 134 together, 67 each
Attack range: 6.5
Attack speed: 1.00 per second

Combat Trait

Goblin Tandem
Goblin Sappers can be controlled together or separately, but cannot move too far away from each other.
If separated, each Sapper deals 50% damage.
Each Sapper grants 50% of Hero XP when it dies.

Primary Abilities

Cluster Rockets
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Channel to bombard an area with rockets for 2 seconds.
Can be used only when Sappers are together.

Explosive Barrel
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Place an explosive barrel that Sappers can destroy with 1 Basic Attack. When destroyed, the barrel explodes, damaging enemies in an area.

Kaboom!
Cooldown: 16 seconds
Order one of the Sappers to charge toward the target enemy. Upon reaching its target, the Sapper explodes, dealing heavy damage in a small area.
Sappers that die by using Kaboom! respawn 50% faster.

Heroic Abilities

Engineering Upgrade
Passive:
Increases the range of Cluster Rockets and area effect of Explosive Barrel by 20%. Increases the attack range of Goblin Sappers by 1 (to 7.5).

Goblin Zeppelin
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Send a Zeppelin loaded with explosives in the target direction. After flying for 4 seconds, the Zeppelin explodes, dealing heavy damage in an area. Can be destroyed by enemies mid-flight to prevent it from exploding.

Special Mount

Sappers' Rush
Cooldown: 35 seconds
Sappers have 10% bonus movement speed. Activate to increase this bonus by 15% for 5 seconds.

Talents

Lvl 1:
Mega Explosion (Q):
Quest: Hit 30 Heroes with Cluster Rockets. Reward: Increases the area of effect by 20%.
Always Bring Spares (W): Quest: Kill 30 Minions with Explosive Barrel. Reward: Explosive Barrel now has 2 charges.
Resourceful: Regen globes grant 50% more Health and Mana. Quest: Collect 20 globes to increase max Health of Sappers by 10%.

Lvl 4:
Teamwork (D):
When close together, Sappers have 10 Physical Armor.
Individual Training (D): When separated, basic attack damage of each Sapper is increased by 20%.
Runners (Z): Reduce the cooldown of Sappers' Rush by 10 seconds.

Lvl 7:
Cost-Effective (Q):
Hitting at least 4 enemies with Cluster Rockets refunds half of its Mana cost and reduces its cooldown by 3 seconds.
Concussion (W): Explosive Barrel explosion slows enemies by 25% for 3 seconds.
Malfunction: Your basic attacks destroy 1 Ammo.

Lvl 13:
Group Safety (D):
When close together, Sappers gain 10 Spell Armor.
Fast Shooters (D): When separated, Sappers gain 15% increased attack speed.
Secret Tactic (E): If cast on a slowed, rooted or stunned enemy, Kaboom's area of effect is increased by 30%.

Lvl 16:
Improved Missiles (Q):
Damage of Cluster Rockets increases by 10% every 0.5 seconds.
That's Not All! (W): Explosive Barrel explodes a second time after 1.5 seconds.
Back in Business (E): If Kaboom! kills an enemy Hero, the Sapper that died respawns after 3 seconds.

Lvl 20:
Goblin Factory (R1):
Basic Attacks reduce the cooldown of all of your abilities by 1 second.
Strong Winds (R2): The Zeppelin explodes after 3 seconds and has 30% increased Health.
Short Fuse (W): Explosive Barrel now explodes immediately after casting, dealing 15% increased damage.
Next-Level Tech (Active): If one Sapper dies, the other can channel for 4 seconds to revive it.
