Godfrey [Ranged Assassin] (WIP)

Lord of Gilneas

Lord Vincent Godfrey was one of the most powerful and respected noblemen in Gilneas. While the Cataclysm raged over Azeroth his people and his King were infected by the worgen curse. In his wisdom he chose to jump off a cliff because he didn't want to serve a savage monster.

Ressurected by Sylvanas' Val'kyr he now became a cruel, merciless, backstabbing, powerful, undead monster himself. And he got his own castle. For a while.

Gameplay:
Godfrey uses his twin pistols in combat, firing on his enemies from the distance and weaves dark curses to weaken them before sending them into their graves.

He excels in waveclear and single target hero damage and has good mobility to make up for his lack of health and escapes.

His unique niche is that he can swap between attacking one target with both pistols and hitting two targets at the same time for half the damage (of course). The second target is chosen automatically, but prefers heroes. It doesn't matter if it stands behind Godfrey as he can target enemies infront and behind him equally good.

Combat Trait

Twin Pistols
Costs: 0 Mana
Cooldown: 2 seconds


Godfrey uses two guns in combat that fire on a single target. Activate "Twin Pistol" for switching to two targets. The second target will be chosen automatically but prefers heroes. Can also target enemies behind you.

Primary Abilities

Cursed Shot
Costs: 60 Mana
Cooldown: 8 seconds


Fires a cursed bullet in a straight line. The first enemy hit is damaged and cursed, increasing the power of the next 2 Auto Attacks from Godfrey on the target by 50%.

Swift Death
Costs: 40 Mana
Cooldown: 12 seconds


Godfrey can shoot while moving for 4 seconds. His movement speed is increased by 20% for the duration.

Dark Barrage
Costs: 75 Mana
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Godfrey fires 3 waves of bullets in a wide cone over 3 seconds, dealing low damage to all enemies hit. Damage is increased by 100% on minions.

Heroic Abilities

Dance of the Dead
Costs: 80 Mana
Cooldown: 100 seconds.


Godfrey jumps on the head of a target hero (ally or enemy), becoming untargetable for the mounted hero for 3 seconds. While standing on the target Godfrey fires 10 Auto Attacks for 50% damage. These shots hit random enemies around the target, but cannot hit the same target for more than 3 times.

When the effect ends the hero that Godfrey jumped on is slowed by 50% for 3 seconds if it is an enemy.

If the target is killed while Godfrey is on his shoulders "Dance of the Dead" ends immediately.

Saronite Bullets
Costs: 0 Mana
Cooldown: 50 seconds


Godfrey loads 8 Saronite Bullets that increase the power of his next 8 Auto Attacks for 15 seconds by 20%. Consecutive hits on the same target deal 10% additional damage everytime. Targets that were hit by 4 or more bullets become poisoned and will suffer additional damage over 6 seconds.

Talents

Level 20 Talents:
- It's called a top hat: "Dance of the Dead" fires 2 additional AAs and can hit every target up to 4 times. Enemy heroes hit by "Dark Barrage" now reduce the cooldown of "Dance of the Dead" by 0,5 seconds.
- Gifts for Monsters: Increases your AA range while using "Saronite Bullets" by 40% and the additional damage from 4 consecutive hits will now trigger over 2 seconds.
- Forsaken Frenzy: Increases attack damage and range by 15%.
- Ice Block: Activate to enter a stasis for 2,5 seconds. While encased in ice Godfrey is unable to act or move, but also invulnerable.
