Hellbat Operator

Background: Gui Montag was a corporal during the Omega Squadron's "epic" victory over Tal Qirat. He survived the destruction of Omega Squadron during the zerg invasion of Tarsonis and surfaced as a Terran Dominion soldier, now at the helm of a flame spewing Hellbat within the Prometheus Company.

Concept Summary: A hero with the ability to transition from a durable but slow walker to a high mobility but fragile harasser coupled with excellent wave clear. This versatility and wave clear comes at a price as each flame based ability generates heat that contributes to the machine's overheat meter, which disables your flame abilities when full. But this liability can be turned into an asset when Montag's abilities are used correctly or to take enemies down with you with a veritable firestorm.

Combat Trait

Overheat
Basic attacks and Flame Abilities generate heat. At full heat, enter overheat status and degenerate heat at 8 per second. Flame abilities and transformations are disabled but you radiate a heat wave that deals 24 (+4%/level) damage to nearby enemies. If you are taken down when overheating, you will deal 413 (+4%/level) damage to nearby enemies  and an additional 192 (+4%/level) damage over 5 seconds. Overheat ends when reaching 0 heat.

Thermite Blast

Cooldown: 4 seconds

Laces your flamethrower with thermite causing your next basic attack to deal an additional 50% damage dealt over 3 seconds.

Heat Shield
Ability Key: W
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Combines both riot shields and exposes their heat sinks to create a barrier that reduces damage by 40% at your front and 20% at your sides for 3 seconds. Also consumes 10 heat per second up to 30 to deal 45 (+4%/level) damage per second per 10 heat spent to enemies in front of you for 3 seconds (does not activate if you do not have heat built up).

Cooldown: 15 seconds

Jumps to a target location or unit. If an enemy is targeted, deal 114 (+4%/level) damage and stun them for 1 second.

Ability Key: E
Heat Generated: 25
Cooldown: 15 seconds

Increases movement speed by 50% for 3 seconds and causes you to leave a trail of flames behind you that deals 50 (+4%/level) damage per second for 3 seconds.

Usable in Hellion Mode only

Restores 20% health over 5 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Adhesive Promethium
Ability Key: R
Cooldown: 45 seconds

Fires a blob of sticky fuel at a target area that lasts for 10 seconds. The blob slows the movement of enemies that pass through it by 40%. If the blob is hit with a basic attack or fire based ability, the fuel ignites for 5 seconds and burns enemies that are slowed for 65 (+4%/level) per second but removes the slowing effect. 

Upgrade: Tar Sprayer

Enemies hit by the Blob are blinded and have reduced vision for 5 seconds.

Bastion
Ability Key: R
Cooldown: 100 seconds

Becomes immobile and deploys all shielding granting cover to allies. Reduces damage taken by 50% and nearby allies by 25% for 5 seconds.

Upgrade: Emergency Repair
Heals for 160 (+4%/level) per second while active.

Special Mount

Transformation Servos
Cooldown: 3 seconds
Heat Generated: 5

Transforms between Hellbat or Hellion modes after 3 seconds. Basic attack splash damage changes according to mode selected. Hellion Mode gains +1 range. You are immobile and unstoppable while transforming.

Hellbat Mode: Short Range Cone
Hellion Mode: Medium Range Narrow Line

Talents

LEVEL 1

Momentum Preservation [Z] - Gain 20% increased movement speed that decays over 3 seconds after transforming.

Upgraded Heat Sinks [Trait] - Increases maximum heat stored by 20

Infernal Plating - Gains a charge of block that reduces basic attack damage by 75% every 5 seconds. Stores up to 2 charges and is not usable in Hellion mode.

LEVEL 4

Ramming Speed [E] - Enemies you collide with are knocked back. In Hellion mode, enemies are pushed aside.

Emergency Welding - Activate to heal 20% of your health over 5 seconds at the cost of heat.

Scorched Earth (Q) - Enemies hit burn the ground they walk on for 4 seconds. dealing 18 (+4%/level) damage to enemies that walk on the burning ground.
