Hakkar is a melee tank who is initially weak, but steals the health of his enemies to power up deadly blood curses.

Combat Trait

Blood for the Blood God
Passive:
Whenever an enemy hero dies near Hakkar, he steals 10% of their maximum Health as Ritual Blood until they revive, or 10 seconds minimum.

Ritual Blood:
Hakkar's unique mechanic, Ritual Blood, allows Hakkar to temporarily steal the maximum Health of his enemies. When an enemy's Health is stolen, the Health they've lost is represented as dark red on their Health bar; when Hakkar gains extra Health, the Health he gained is represented as light red on his Health bar. Health is always stolen from an enemy's remaining Health pool, effectively dealing damage at the same time.

Any damage based on a percentage of maximum Health does not take Ritual Blood into effect; it is based on the normal maximum Health of its target, whether Hakkar or someone he has stolen Health from. Additionally, Hakkar's extra Health cannot be affected by Armor, positive or negative. When stolen Health is returned, the target's current Health percentage remains the same.

Primary Abilities

Corrupted Blood
Cooldown: 7 seconds
Cost: 50 Mana

Hakkar imbues his next basic attack to corrupt the blood of his target, dealing 10 (+4% per level) damage plus 10% of Hakkar's current Ritual Blood immediately and every 1 second for 5 seconds. Whenever Corrupted Blood deals damage to its target, it spreads to all nearby unaffected enemies with the same remaining duration.

Note - Corrupted Blood ticks 6 times total.

Vital Siphon
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cost: 60 Mana

Hakkar winds up for 0.5 seconds, then channels for 1.5 seconds, draining the blood of enemies in a large cone in front of him. Every 0.25 seconds, Hakkar steals 1% of affected enemies' maximum Health as Ritual Blood for 12 seconds.

Draining Wound
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cost: 70 Mana

Hakkar sweeps his talons in a cone, rending enemies within for 4 second. Rended enemies take 144 (+4% per level) damage over the duration.

Additionally, rended heroes bleed as they move, taking 24 (+4% per level) damage for every unit of distance they move and leaving a trail of blood that lingers for 4 seconds. This blood deal 24 (+4% per level) damage to enemies within every 0.5 seconds.

While Hakkar is in the blood trail, it heals Hakkar's current Health gained by Ritual Blood by 5% of his current Ritual Blood every 0.5 seconds and grants him 30% increased movement speed.

Hakkar and enemy heroes can only be affected by one trail of blood at a time. Enemy heroes cannot be damaged by their own blood trail.

Heroic Abilities

Flayer's Feast
Cooldown: 50 seconds
Cost: 80 Mana

Hakkar winds up for 0.5 seconds, then lunges in a target direction, viciously biting the first enemy hero hit. This steals 5% of their maximum Health as Ritual Blood for 10 seconds.

However, if the target hit is below 450 (+4% per level) current Health, Hakkar executes them and steals 5% of their maximum Health as Ritual Blood until Hakkar dies. Flayer's Feast's Health steal only applies once per enemy hero until reset.

Sanguine Expulsion
Cooldown: 65 seconds
Cost: 100 Mana

Hakkar begins charging up for 3 seconds, during which he receives 30% increased movement speed, cannot use basic attacks or abilities, and he steals 0.5% of nearby enemy heroes' maximum Health as Ritual Blood every 0.5 seconds. Any Ritual Blood Hakkar has cannot be returned while charging.

Upon finishing charging, Hakkar unleashes a bloody explosion centered on himself, consuming ALL of his Ritual Blood and dealing damage to enemies within equal to 120% of the Ritual Blood consumed. Hakkar is healed for 50% of the damage dealt by Sanguine Expulsion.
