Homunculus

The Flesh Golem

Homunculus is a strong melee warrior. The more enemies die near him, the stronger he becomes.

Attack Range: 2.2 (but still, he's melee)
Attack Damage: 180 (+4% per level)
Attack Speed: 0.5 attacks per second (+4% per level)

Health: 2450 (+4% per level)
Health Regeneration: 2 per second (+4% per level)

Homunculus doesn't use mana, but if the player takes "Unholy Explosion" ultimate, hero gains "Unholy Energy" bar in the place of mana one.

Combat Trait

Best Pieces
Every time Homunculus gets a Hero Takedown he receives some bonuses:

+100 maximum health

+0.25 health per second

+10 attack damage

Primary Abilities

Terrifying Visage
Cooldown: 13 seconds

Enemy heroes in the range of 4 from Homunculus deal 15% less damage. Activate this ability to increase its range to 10 and its damage reduction by additional 10%.

Giant's Swing
Cooldown: 6 seconds

Each 3rd consecutive attack against the same target deals damage to all enemies in the area of 2 in front of Homunculus. Activating this ability increases damage dealt and splash radius of the next "Giant's Swing" by 25%.

Haunting Skulls
Cooldown: 17 seconds

Surrounds target with cursed skulls, reducing its spell armor by 20. For 0.5 seconds target is rooted and after that it receives 30% slow for 2.5 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Unholy Construct
Homunculus gains 1000 bonus health. Also for every stack of "Best Pieces" hero receives 1 spell armor.

Unholy Explosion
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Allows Homunculus to store "Unholy Energy". Unholy energy maximum amount is equal to 400 + 50 for every stack of "Best Pieces". Upon collecting maximum Unholy Energy hero may activate this ability to deal damage equal to 2 times of stored energy to all enemies in the range of 8, but all energy will be consumed. Homunculus gains unholy energy whenever an enemy dies nearby:

-Minions give 5 Unholy Energy

-Mercenaries (Non-boss) and catapults give 20 Unholy Energy

-Structures give 10% of maximum amount of Unholy Energy

-Heroes and Boss-type Mercenaries give 50% of maximum amount of Unholy Energy.

Passive: Causes "Haunting Skulls" to deal 160 (+4% per level) damage over 3 seconds and gives 20 spell armor.

Special Mount

Undead Construct
Homunculus moves 10% slower than other heroes and can't use mount.

Next Concept and Other stuff:

1) Next Concept I want to make is Naga Siren (Assassin) from Sunken City map. And then I'd like to make concept of Ice Lancer (Support/Assassin) from the same map.

2) I also want to update all my previous concepts, so there'll be many of my concepts at one page.

Level 1 Talents:

1) The More, The Better (D): Increases health bonus per takedown by 25 and health regeneration bonus by 0.25.

Reward:
Upon collecting 20 stacks of "Best Pieces" Homunculus receives additional 400 health and 5 health regeneration.

2) Flesh Shield (Passive): Every 8 seconds Homunculus gains 1 stack of "Flesh Shield", which gives him 20 kinetic armor, for the next enemy hero's attack against him. The armor bonus stacks up to 4 times, giving 80 kinetic armor in total.

3) Crushing Blow (W): Empowered "Giant's Swing" also stuns all enemies hit for 0.25 seconds

Level 4 Talents:

1) Soulless Stare (Q): Enemies who can see Homunculus in 90

Level 7 Talents:

1) "Now you feel pain" (Passive): Basic attacks deal 65% more damage to rooted, stunned or slowed targets.

2) Nullifying Skulls (E): Decreases ability damage of the affected target by 30%.

3) "Don't dare you call me fat" (D): Decreases maximum health by 500, but gives additional 5 basic attack damage per stack. Also removes movement speed penalty from "Undead Construct"

Level 10 Talents:

Level 13 Talents:

1) "I crush you!" (W): Increases bonus damage from activating "Giant's Swing" to 125%, but removes splash.

2) Fear (Q): Activating "Terrifying Visage" also terrifies enemies in the range of 4 for 1 second, causing them to uncontrollably run away from Homunculus.

3) Corrosive Skulls (E): Increases root duration by 0.25 seconds. For the whole duration of this ability the target has its kinetic armor reduced by 30.

Level 16 Talents:

1) Flesh Hulk (D): Every new stack of "Best Pieces" gives 100 bonus health. All stacks that Homunculus had before this talent have only 50 bonus to health given.

2) Mutating Flesh (Passive): Every time Homunculus loses 10% of his maximum health within 8 seconds, he gains 10% resistance against the ability that was the last to damage him during that period, if no abilities damaged him he gains 10 kinetic armor. This bonus is lost upon death. You may have maximum of 6 abilities to resist and maximum resistance is 90%.

3) Monstrous Strike (W): "Giant's Swing" deals bonus damage to the main target equal to 10% of its maximum health.

Level 20 Talents:

1) Unholy Monstrosity (R1): Homunculus gains additional 1500 maximum health and regenerates 0.5% of his maximum health per second. This ability may be activated to increases Homunculus's attack speed by 300% and movement speed by 100% for 6 seconds, but losing all bonuses from this ability and his trait.

2) Real Explosion (R2): Increases maximum Unholy Energy to 800 + 100 per stack of "Best Pieces". Upon death Homunculus casts "Unholy Explosion" dealing full damage, even if he doesn't have enough Unholy Energy.

3) Tremor (W): "Giant's Swing" also sends out a powerful tremor, which deals 400 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies it passes through.

4) Storm Surge (Active): Allows Homunculus to blink on a short distance. This ability has 15 seconds cooldown and no mana cost.

Updates:

04.03.17 - Concept published

05.03.17 - Added Level 1 and 4 Talents.

07.03.17 - Added Level 7 Talents. Increased basic attack damage from 120 to 180, reduced attack speed from 0.7 to 0.5, increased "Giant's Swing" damage from 140 to 180. Maximum amount of Unholy Energy is now equal to 400 + 50 per stack of "Best Pieces", instead of 400 + 50 per level.

- Homunculus little rework:
(D) - Reduced bonus health per stack from 150 to 100. Removed "Giant's Swing" bonus damage per stack.
(Q) - Is now just bonus splash on each 3rd attack, instead of spell damage.
(Mount) - Added "Undead Construct", instead of "Mount".
Talent Rework:
Tier 1:
1) Bonus health per stack from 50 to 25.
2) Bonus kinetic armor from 25 to 20, maximum from 100 to 80.
Tier 2:
1) Added more precise information.
3) Base damage per second from 20 to 4.
Tier 3:
1) Bonus damage from 80% to 65%.
3) Health reduction from 1000 to 500, removed "Giant's Swing" bonus damage per stack. Now removes movement speed penalty.

11.03.17 - Added Level 16 Talents and Level 20 Talents.
