Hyrja (Completed)

Chosen of Eyir

Hyrja - Chosen of Eyir is a solid Warrior whom plays out a bit differently than other Warriors.

Her abilities will force enemy heroes to re-position themselves in order to decrease the effect of what Hyrja will throw their way - or simply to survive.

Hyrja is a high risk high reward Warrior whom with ease can wipe out enemy heroes but at that cost: her potential when fighting 1v1 is weaker and she has no means of a solid escape but in team fight's she will shine like no one else.

Baste stats:


- Base health: 2622 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 5.1 (+4 %)


- Energy: 500
- Energy regen: 3


- Speed: 4.39

Basic attack:


Hyrja's basic attacks are swings from her Spear and Shield. With her Trait - D, she will chose which one she activelly will use in combatt as they have different effects.

Despite that the Spear and Shield will trigger different effect pending on which one she has active: they still deal the same amount of damage and has the same attack speed.

Base damage: 105 (+4 %)
Attack speed: 0.9
Attack range: 1.8

Combat Trait

D - Shieldmaiden's Arsenal
Hyrja can actively switch between her Spear and Shield as her means for basic attack.

Spear strike: When Hyrja attacks with her spear - each 4'th basic attack will deal additional damage to the target struck and will also heal Hyrja for 20% of the damage done.

Shield swipe: When Hyrja attacks with her shield - each 4'th basic attack will deal frontal cone cleave damage and strike all enemies in front of Hyrja. This swipe will also slow the movement speed of anyone caught in it with 30% for 2.5 seconds.

Mana cost: 0
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

Primary Abilities

Q - Shield of Light
Lock onto the chosen target and power up the Shield of Light, which after a 2 second cast will fire a beam of holy light toward the target of choice.

During the 2 seconds it takes for the shield to power up: Hyrja can not be interrupted by any means but she can not move herself either.

- Force-move abilities like Alarak's Telekinesis or Thrall's Sundering will not move Hyrja during the 2 seconds but she will still take damage.

The target which is locked on to by the Shield of Light will take massive damage unless more heroes stands in the path of the beam.

The more heroes that stands within the beam: the less damage the locked on-to target will take as the damage is shared between all targets hit by the beam.

Hyrja will be healed for 7% of her total HP for each enemy hero hit by the beam.

The beam's path can be seen during the 2 second power up - it should not be hard for other heroes to see where the beam goes.

This ability must be used on a hero. Yet if minions or mercenaries are caught in the beam, they will just take a baseline amount of damage: they will not help with the shared damage taken but they will not heal Hyrja either.

Cooldown: 14 seconds.

W - Expel Light
Throw a radiant light bomb at the chosen target which will detonate after 3 seconds for moderate damage to the main target and then for additional minor damage to anyone within close proximity of the target.

The damage is not shared, so walking ontop of minions, mercenaries or other heroes will not make the light bomb deal less target to the marked target.

When the light bomb detonates: it will heal Hyrja for 10% of the damage it deals.

This light bomb can be removed by immunities and cleanse abilities.

Mana cost: 55
Cooldown: 10 seconds.

E - Sanctified blessing
Place a blessing on a chosen target. Pending on whom the blessing is placed on - it will have different effects.

If placed on a allied hero of Hyrja: it will protect them, converting 25% of all damage they take to Hyrja. There is a max amount to how much damage this blessing can handle before it's broken.

If placed on Hyrja: it will make her take 10% less damage and deal 10% more damage. If Hyrja takes too much damage before the Blessing ends - it will be broken.

If placed on a enemy hero: The enemy hero will take 25% of all damage Hyrja takes. There is a max amount to how much damage this blessing can handle before it's broken.

The blessing lasts for 5 seconds.

Mana cost: 50
Cooldown: 12 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Sanctification
Hyrja will start a 5 second channel which will make her emit 5 orbs of light per second that will travle out from her at moderate speed.

Each wave of the orbs will take a slightly different path, never making the path the orbs will take the same.

These orbs will detonate when coming into contact with anything hostile or when hitting terrain.

The orbs deals area damage and will deal more damage if directly hit by an orb compared to if one is close to a orb that detonates into terrain.

While channeling: Hyrja takes 50% reduced damage.

Mana cost: 110
Cooldown: 90 seconds.

R - Holy Storm
Hyrja will create a extremely large globe of holy light at her stand point that will persist for 6 seconds.

During these 6 seconds, a holy storm will affect the entire map. This storm will deal hard damage each second for the 6 seconds the storm lasts.

The storm - although visual all across the map: will deal no damage if hostile units is too far away from Hyrja.

If one is within relative distance of Hyrja, the storm will deal massive damage.

If hostile units moves inside the globe that Hyrja created: they will take 75% less damage from the storm.

Mana cost: 120
Cooldown: 120

Special Mount

Z - Wings of the chosen
Hyrja will fly around with her wings instead of using a regular mount.

Talents

Level 1


- Regeneration master. Quest: Gather health globes increases your health by 30 per globe. Reward: Upon reaching 30 health globes, your health regeneration is also slightly increased.

- Bolster: Each time you switch between your Spear and Shield with your Trait (D) You will take 50% reduced damage from the next 2 basic attacks done to you.

- Crusade: For each enemy hero hit by Shield of Light (Q) - it's cooldown will be reduced by 1 second.

- Empowerd Light: Expel Light can no longer be cleansed or removed by immunities.

Level 4


- Absorbing Light: all direct healing effects on you is increased by 40%

- Punishment: The effect's from your trait becomes stronger.
Spear Strike: Heals for 5% more.
Shield Swipe: Slow increased by 15%

- Speed of Light: Shield of Light (Q) now has a 1.5 second cast time.

- Bouncing Light: When Expel Light (W) ends, it will jump to another enemy hero if any is close enough. This new bomb will deal half the damage and won't bounce upon detonation.

Level 7


- Battle momentum: Your basic attacks grants you 15% increased movement speed for 1 second.

- Compressed Light: Expel Light (W) Now has covers a smaller area around the target with the bomb - but the marked target will take twice the damage.

- Heavenly training: Your trait (D) will now trigger it's effect for each 3'd attack instead.

- Blessing of Freedom: Sanctified Blessing (E) will now remove any snare or root effects from the target.

Level 10 - Ultimates (R)


- Sanctification.

- Holy Storm.

Level 13



- Searing Light: Deal X damage per second to nearby enemies.

- Updraft (Activate): Allows you to leap a short distance. (25 second cooldown)

- Divine Protection: Upon switching weapon with your trait (D) - You will now take 50% reduced ability damage for 1.5 seconds.

- Blinding Light: Each hero hit by the Shield of Light (Q) will also have their movement speed reduced by 30% for 2 seconds.

Level 16



- Fall in line: Shield of Light (Q) will now slowly drag in enemy heroes close to the path of fire.

- Stand together: Shield of Light (Q) now heals for 10% per hero hit.

- Die alone: Shield of Light (Q) deals 300% more damage if only one enemy hero is caught in the line of fire.

- Fortified Blessing: Sanctified Blessing (E) Now lasts for 1 second more and handles more damage before breaking when used on Hyrja or an ally of Hyrja.

Level 20


- Bouncing stride: The orbs from Sanctification (R) will now bounce of terrain and keep bouncing around until they have lasted for 5 seconds or hit something hostile.

- Heaven's Wrath: Holy Storm (R) deals more damage and will deal damage regardless of where on the map any hostile unit is - yet the damage is reduced by distance from Hyrja.

- Take wing (Activate): Allows Hyrja to fly to a targeted location. 45 Second cooldown.

- Call of the Val'kyr: Upon death, you will be brought back to life for 15 seconds. After these 15 seconds you will die. 120 second cooldown. Cooldown start after dying for real.

Basic skin

Master skin:

Like most master skins I imagined this would follow the regular "Master skin" metric and just be an upgrade of the standard skin.

- Your text to link here... <- Something like this with the same different color patterns that the other variants for the standard skin had.

Some other skins could include one where Hyrja looks less "Ascended" - where she looks like a live Shield maiden before ascending to heaven.
