Store Description: Imperius is the leader of the Angiris Council, a fearless combatant that always leads the charge in battle, and a steadfast defender of heaven.

Mouse-Over Description: An unstoppable main tank with excellent engage, perfect for setting up a kill on a crucial target.

Actual Description: Imperius is an ultra-durable main tank who specializes when up against overwhelming odds thanks to his trait and healing abilities. He is meant to dive into the enemy team and set-up kills, as he lacks peeling potential and escape potential, and makes up for this with his strong engage and ability to self-cleanse when low on life.

Combat Trait

Heart of Valor
Functionality Imperius's Halo gains one shining light on it for every stack of armor.

When Imperius is reduced to 30% of his maximum health or lower, he becomes unstoppable for 1 second, and gains double armor from this trait for 3 seconds. (60 second cooldown)

Passive: Gain 5 armor for every enemy hero within range 5 of Imperius, to a maximum of 25 armor.

Range Identical to Frostbolt baseline (Jaina Q)
Functionality A spear of light impales enemies hit by the effect, fading over time until it winks out of existence.

Hurl Solarion Forward. If it hits an enemy hero, they take 160(+4%/lv) damage. For the next 4 seconds, you can reactivate Solarion's Might to teleport to the other side of that enemy, stunning them for 0.5 seconds.

Sacred Flame
Mana 40
Cooldown 6 seconds
Range The length of Weighted Pustule (Stukov W) with 4 times the width. Projectile speed is slightly faster than that of Death Shroud (Malthael E)
Functionality Crackling flames cover the area hit by Sacred flame, and burst to life again at the end of the effect.

Launch a pulse of flame forward, dealing 70(+4%/lv) damage to all enemies hit. At the end of the pulse, the fire re-ignites, dealing 200% damage to enemy heroes when it does. Each time an enemy hero is damaged by Sacred Flame, Imperius heals for 100(+4%/lv).

Righteous Chain
Mana 40
Cooldown 8 seconds
Range Out to range 3, slightly shorter than standard AA range for ranged heroes.
Functionality Slam Solarion into the ground, causing a ring of fiery chains to appear in the area.

Activate to slow all enemy heroes around Imperius by 20% for 2 seconds. Basic attacks against enemy heroes refresh this duration and increase the slow on that hero by 5%, to a maximum of 40%, and a duration of 8 seconds.

Range Dash is the length of Tychus's Run & Gun. Area affected is 20% larger than Malthael's Tormented Souls.
Functionality If your dash contacts an enemy hero, you grab them and lift them into the air. After 1 second, during which both of you are essentially in stasis, you come crashing back down to the same spot you were at.

Dash forward a short distance. If you hit an enemy hero, grab them, stunning them for 0.5 seconds, then take them to the sky, throwing them back down in an area. The hero and enemies hit by the falling hero take 300 (+4%/lv) damage.

Valor's Brand
Mana 90
Cooldown 60 seconds
Range Identical to Hammer of Justice (Uther E)
Functionality The affected hero is surrounded in Imperius's Halo, which burns with fire while the hero cowardly fails to attack Imperius. If the enemy is granted Unstoppable, the effect is only suppressed for the duration of the unstoppable.

Silence an enemy hero for 6 seconds and slow them by 60%. This effect is removed for 1 second if the enemy hero basic attacks Imperius, even if they are blinded.

Solarion's Recall: If, after 4 seconds, you do not teleport to a hero hit by Solarion's Might, reset the cooldown of the ability.

Surging Fire: QUEST! Gather regeneration globes. REWARD Increase the healing of Sacred Flame by 2% per globe gathered, to a maximum of 40%. After gathering 20 globes, increase the size and speed of Sacred Flame by 30%

TRAIT

Adamant Resolve: Heart of Valor also grants 4(+4%/lv) health regeneration for each enemy hero in range.

Level 4 Talents

Q

Sunstroke: Enemy heroes hit by Solarion's Might are slowed by 20% for 4 seconds. This effect ends if Imperius teleports to them.

Just Pursuit: Basic attacks against enemy heroes affected by Righteous Chain grant Imperius 20% movespeed for 1.5 seconds.

The Chain That Binds: Increase the size of Righteous Chain by 50%

Chain Gang: All enemies affected by Righteous Chain are slowed if any are attacked by Imperius

Level 7 Talents

Chain-mail: Righteous Chain grants Imperius a shield equal to 80(+4% per level) + 10% per enemy hero affected for 3 seconds.

TRAIT

Righteous Indignation: If Imperius is Stunned, Rooted, or Silenced, burn every hero in range of Heart of Valor for 130(+4%/lv) damage. This effect has a 10 second cooldown.

TRAIT

Right Where I Want Them: While you have 20 or more armor from your trait, Gain 20 ability power and attack speed.

Level 10 Talents

Excommunicate

Pull a foe into the sky and slam them into the ground for massive damage.

Valor's Brand

Silence and slow an enemy unless they attack you.

Level 13 Talents

Sunlance: Increase the range of Solarion's Might by 40%.

W

Blinding Radiance: Enemy heroes hit by Sacred Flame's explosion are blinded for 2.5 seconds.

TRAIT

Burning Valor: Deals 12(+4%/lv) damage per second in an area around Imperius. This damage is increased by 1(+4%/lv) for every point of armor he is gaining from Heart of Valor

Level 16 Talents

Q

Skewer: Teleporting to an enemy affected by Solarion's Might reduces their armor by 15 for 3 seconds.

Q

Archangel's Fury: Teleporting to an enemy affected by Solarion's Might now deals an additional 150% of its damage.

E

Hookspear: The first basic attack against you make an enemy affected by Righteous Chain pulls them to Imperius.

Level 20 Talents

HEROIC

Sacrilege: Enemy heroes hit by the falling hero are stunned for 1 second.

HEROIC

Coward's way out: Valor's Brand deals 800(+4%/lv) damage over the duration. This damage is paused for one second if the hero basic attacks Imperius.

TRAIT

I Fear Nothing: When Heart of Valor is triggered, gain a shield equal to 100% of your maximum health that decays to 0 over 4 seconds.
