Imperius [Bruiser/Tank Concept]

Archangel of Valor

"Imperius, the archangel of Valor, is the greatest warrior in all of creation. He revels in war and combat and has led the hosts of Heaven to innumerable victories. With Malthael's absence, it is Imperius who now rules over the Angiris Council, seeking always to defend the High Heavens from any foe." 

Difficulty: Medium

Concept idea: Imperius plays as a tank with higher than average mobility who quickly becomes stronger while in combat. Imperius'
impatience and his will to lead his allies into battle, but also his capabilities as the first defender of heaven and the Angiris Council should be reflected in his abilities.

He has somewhat low health (at least for a tank) and high mana costs but makes this up with his great protecting, chasing and damaging potential. But if he acts too reckless he can be bursted down relatively easily.

Health: 2180 (+4%)
Regeneration: 4.2 (+4%) per sec
Mana: 500 (+10)
Mana Reg: 3 (+4%)
Attack Speed: 0.85 Attacks per second
Attack Damage per hit: 142 (+4%)

Combat Trait

Zealotry
Active: 80 seconds CD, 30 Mana, Very High Range
Imperius uses his wings to quickly fly to a targeted hero. If the hero is an ally he lands behind him and takes the next AA directed to the target within 2 seconds. If the target is an enemy Imperius lands in front of him.

Passive: Imperius gains 4% Attack Damage everytime he is struck by a Hero for 3 seconds, stacking up to 20%.

The light of Solarion strikes at a target location with two blades each dealing 112(+4%) damage to every enemy hit. Targets at the crossing point take 150% damage.

(Works similiar to Li Mings missiles, just with two holy blades, but they don't stop at minions or heros)

While this ability is active, Imperius gains 5% Attack Damage with every AA. Each time you AA the Mana costs of "Fate" are increased by 10(up to 6 stacks). The stacking effect fades after 5 seconds without attacking something and Fate is cancelled.

Imperius charges at the enemy hero in a bolt of light becoming untargetable and unstoppable while charging. He instantly strikes the enemy with for 142(+4%) damage.

(Just like his charges in the Diablo III cinematics)

Heroic Abilities

Imperius gains a shield equal to 60% of his maximum health for 15 seconds. While shielded his AAs heal allied heroes near him for 30% of the damage dealt. Immediately finishes the CD on Zealotry upon activation.

Medium Range

Imperius channels flames from Solarions tip on an enemy hero, dealing 481(+4%) damage over 3 seconds, rooting him. Opponents hit by the channeled flames also take 20% of the damage. Imperius cannot move, attack or use any abilities while channeling "Wrath".

Special Mount

Wings of the Archangel
Imperius does not use a mount. Instead he walks with 10% increased movement speed. After 4 seconds without taking damage another 20% are added. The bonus speed is lost upon taking damage. Entering the core raises the bonus speed up 30% immediately.

(At full speed Imperius starts levitating, using his wings)

Talents

Level 1 Talents:
- Strong Wings: Grants "Wings of the Archangel" the possibility to stack up a 2nd time.
- Blade of Valor: Quest! Everytime "Rage" hits an enemy Hero, its damage is increased permanently by 4. At 25 stacks the blades also return to Imperius' sides.
- Stability: "Fate" now costs 30 Mana per Strike, but the costs don't increase anymore.
- Warrior of Light: Quest! Globes of Regeneration now fly towards Imperius if he is close and restore 100% more mana and health. Every collected globe increases Imperius' maximum mana by 10. Maximum stacks: 20. At 20 stacks Imperius' health is increased by 400.


Level 4 Talents:
- Worthless Peasants: The damage of "Rage" is increased by 100% on minions, catapults and mercs.
- Will of the Angiris: "Wings of the Archangel" now gains a stack after 1.5 seconds without taking damage.
- Fury of the Archangel: The damage "Rage" deals to targets at the crossing point is increased to 250%.
- Divine Charge: Increases the range of "Duty" by 30%.


Level 7 Talents:
- Fate: Leadership: While "Fate" is active, Imperius will release a Battlecry with every 4th affected Auto Attack, increasing nearby allies movement speed by 25% for 2 seconds.
- Fate: Sacrifice: While "Fate" is active and Imperius is above 50% of his health, 30% of the damage that nearby allied heroes take is transfered to Imperius and reduced to 60% of its Value.
- Fate: Divinity: While "Fate" is active Imperius gains a charge of block with every 3rd attack, reducing the damage of the next AA by 50%
- Fate: Oblivion: While "Fate" is active every Auto Attack on an enemy hero reduces the CD of "Rage" by 0.75 seconds.


Level 13 Talents:
- Unleashed: While "Fate" active the duration of stuns, roots and slows are reduced by 50%.
- Salvation: Reduces the CD of "Duty" by 3 seconds.
- Holy Ground: The blades from "Rage" now leave a line of holy energy on the ground for 2 seconds, slowing enemies that pass it by 25% for 2 seconds.


Level 16 Talents:
- Silence!: "Duty" now silences the enemy for 0.5 seconds.
- Pain Suppression: "Zealotry" can now stack up to 40%.
- Protective Wings: While "Wings of the Archangel" is active, and for 1.5 seconds after the effect ends Imperius has 20 Spell armor.
- Vengeance: Whenever an allied hero dies, Imperius is healed by 25% of his maximum health. This effect can only occur once every 10 seconds. Global effect.


Level 20 Talents:
- Honor: Increases the Shield gained by "Valor" to 80% of Imperius' maximum health. In addition he gains the full effect of "Wings of the Archangel" while shielded.
- Hatred: Increases the damage of "Wrath" by 20%. The enemy is now left crippled when the effect ends, reducing his movement speed and damage dealt by 30% for 3 seconds.
- Devotion: The CD of Zealotry is reduced by 20 seconds. Its passive effect is immediately boosted to maximum when falling below 15% health.
- Storm Shield: Grants Imperius and allied Heroes near him a shield of 20% of their maximum health for 3 seconds. 45 seconds CD.
