Isendra

Zann Esu Sorceress

This sorceress represents the fast casting, frozen orb/something else sorceress, which is unique to D2 (characters from other franchises cover the longer cooldown sorceress style pretty well). The trait is meant to make her something like Gul'dan, able to continuously cast spells for a long time, but with a twist that the sorceress can throw out a lot of damage quickly, at the tradeoff of losing sustained damage for awhile afterward. Most spells, to fit this fantasy and this playstyle, are meant to be short cooldown, but high enough mana that the sorceress has to think about using them.

Combat Trait

1
Warmth
The Sorceress's mana regeneration is porportional to the percent of mana she has. Half of mana regeneration from outside sources is proportional to the sorceress's current mana as well. THe talent button is also used ot toggle sorceress armors.

I imagine keeping mana at about 90/95% would be enough to constantly throw out Q spells, plus a few frozen orbs, wiout overall losing anything. Around 70-80% would allow continuous casting of Q spells. mana would either not increase at all with levels, or would have low scaling, to keep these rough percentages throughout the game.

Primary Abilities

1
Q: Fireball
Throw a fireball at opponents. Each fireball deals low AoE damage.

I Imagine the Sorceress Q abilities as either channeled, casted every half second or so, or simply with a low/no cooldown. the first would make it easier to press the buttons needed, the second I assume would keep stutter stepping easier, and be more responsive overall. Imagine whichever one makes the most sense to you.
2
Q; Lightning Bolt
The Sorceress casts a lightning bolt in the targetted direction. All enemies hit by the bolt take low damage.

3
Q: Glacial Spike
The Sorceress casts glacial spike in the target direction. Deals low damage to the first enemy it hits, and slows it and nearby enemies.

In D2, you would not often go frozen orb/another cold spell because of resistances, but in HOTS this option is wide open. (for D2 players, i did use the ice blast icon instead, since it is more obviously cold based that glacial spike)

W: Frozen Orb
3 second cooldown, Low/Medium mana cost. Throws out an orb that flies toward the targetted point. As it flies, it throws frostbolts towards nearby enemies. At the target point or at maximum range, it explodes, and throws frostbolts in all directions. These bolts deal damage and slow the move and attack of everything they hit by 20%, and multiple bolts can hit the same enemy.

I imagine the "travel" bolts as firing at specific enemies, perhaps 1 bolt per half second at the nearest enemy, alternating enemies. the "explosion/end" frostboolts are more like Diablo's firewave, but a lot more bolts are thrown out.
5
E: Teleport
Li-ming always wanted to find out how Isendra teleports with no cooldown, now she can find out.

Teleports the sorceress to the target location. No cooldown, Low/medium mana. if the sorceress is commanded to teleport farther than teleport range, she will take multiple teleports until she reaches the location, runs out of mana, or is stunned/killed/silenced/etc.

Secondary Abilities

1
D: Shiver Armor
The Sorceress gains 30 armor while active. Enemy attacks slow the attacker by 50% for 1 second, but each attack costs the sorceress mana. This armor can be toggled on and off.
2
Mana Shield
Instead of taking damage to hit points, the sorceress takes damage ot mana while this is active. Damage is scaled so that all mana = blocked equivalenrt to 100-200% of sorceress life.
3
Fire Sheath
While Active, each Ability that hits the sorcess is absorbed with no effects, damages the spellcaster for low to medium damage, and costs Isendra a large amount of mana (Something like 20-30% of max mana.)

Heroic Abilities

1
Hydra
Summons a hydra at the target location that shoots enemies for spell damage. Hydra's DPS is high, and attacks do not miss. High mana cost, 6 second cooldown.
2
Meteor
When cast, a meteor hits the target location 2 seconds later. The meteor strike deals a lot of damage, and the meteor leaves fire for 6 seconds that deals medium -high damage to enemies within it. High mana cost, 6 second cooldown.

"I sense much magic in the nexus, but not from starcraft or overwatch."

"Li-Ming tells me I was killed after a spell went wrong. I must fix this if I have the opportunity."

"Why are so many mages single element in the nexus? What about immunities?"

"Ragnaros should be immune to fire, so I should take lightning or cold spells, but if Jaina and Falstad are on the other team, I should take two elements..."

"And what is Raynor immune to? I wish the guides would mention this."

"I thought about going weatherwoman, but Falstad and Jaina..."
