Ji'nara and Karass

First Ascendant and High Templar

Ji'nara and Kar*** are an unlikely duo but in the nexus these two have joined forces to defeat any opposition. Fighting alone at first but as the battle gets tough they merge into a powerful archon and lay waste to their enemies

Ji'nara and Kar*** is a two player hero that is a ranged assassin/support. In archon mode they have slightly less health then diabo but access to powerful offensive or defensive abilities.

Combat Trait

Growing Power (Ji'nara)
Every takedown gives Ji'nara 2% bonus ability power, these stacks are lost upon death and capped at 30%.

In Dark Archon the bonus ability power is increased to 4% and the cap is increased to 60%

In Archon this ability also gives nearby allies shields equal to 20% of the damage dealt for 3 seconds

Karass's trait
Activate to reduce health to 10% but gain a shield that lasts 10 seconds equal to double the amount of health reduced, cannot be used if you have less then 10% health, during this time your health is capped at the 10% value. 60 second cooldown.

In Dark Archon this ability also gives both you and Ji'nara 15% bonus ability power for the duration.

In Archon this duration is increased to 30 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Psionic orb (Ji'nara)
Mana cost: 55

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Range: a bit bigger then Kael'thas's Flamestrike.

Summon a psionic orb that chases target enemy for 5 seconds dealing 102 (+4% per level) damage per second, deals half damage to minions and structures, can target minions and structures, this moves at 90% movespeed

In Dark Archon this ability has 3 charges that return at the same time but its cooldown is increased to 8 seconds

In Archon this ability has its damage increased to 150 (+4% per level) per second and its radius increased by 20%

Mind Blast (Ji'nara)
Mana Cost: 90

Cooldown: 12 seconds

Range: 4 (less then AA range)

Mark an enemy hero and after 1.5 seconds deal 450 (+4% per level) damage to them and silence them for 1.25 seconds. If they leave the cast range the effect is canceled, the ability is placed on CD and the mana is not refunded. Ji'nara moves at 80% movement speed while channeling.

In Dark Archon the range is increased to 5.5, an AoE about the size of Jaina's blizzard, has a .5 second delay, deals have damage to minions and mercenaries but causes them to attack each other for 5 seconds

In Archon reduce the damage to 375 (+4% per level) and increase the silence duration to 2.5 seconds.

Sacrifice (Ji'nara)
No mana cost

Cooldown: 1 second

Range: 2

Set a friendly minion to one hp gain mana equal to the amount of health drained this way divided by 5 (rounded up)

In Dark Archon you can target enemy heroes with this ability, if you do deal 120 (+4% per level) damage and drain 59 (+1 per level) mana and increase the cooldown of this ability by 8 seconds. Mana drained using this ability is also given to Kar***

In Archon also restore mana to Kar*** when you use this ability and apply minions affected by this ability with a HoT that restores them to full health in 10 seconds

Shielding (Karass)
Mana Cost: 65

Cooldown: 8 seconds

Range: 5

Deal 700 (+4% per level) damage to an ally and give them a shield equal to 200% of the damage done for 8 seconds. This ability will not kill an allied hero.

In Dark Archon this ability can be cast on an enemy hero to deal 400 (+4% per level) and make them register as on your team for 2 seconds, using the ability this way doubles the cooldown.

In Archon this ability provides shields equal to 250% of the damage done and any remaining shields are turned back to hitpoints when they expire.

Time Warp (Karass)
Mana Cost: 70

Cooldown: 12 seconds

Range: 6

After a .75 second delay, Kar*** creates an area a little bigger then Chromie's slowing sands that speeds up allies that enter it by 20% for 2 seconds and slows enemies that enter it by 20% for 2 seconds. The area lasts for 6 seconds and heals minions in it by 20 (+4% per level) per second. This ability is telegraphed during the delay.

In Dark Archon this ability has its radius reduced by 25%, it deals 175 (+4% per level) damage and suns all enemies hit for 1 second instead of its normal effect.

In Archon this ability also heals allied heroes by double the amount it heals minions and damages enemie for 58 (+4% per level) damage per second.

Explosion Knockback (Karass)
Mana Cost: 50

Coldown: 10 seconds

Range: self

After a .25 second delay Kar*** releases energy burst that deals 100 (+4% per level) damage and knocks enemies away from him

In Dark Archon this ability deals 50% more damage and knocks enemies 50% farther away.

In Archon this ability has its cooldown reduced by 3 seconds and gives Kar*** 50% bonus movespeed that decays over 2 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Dark Archon
Can only be selected when Ji'nara and Kar*** are within range 5 of each other

Merge into a Dark Archon with Ji'nara's personality becoming the dominant one. Increase health and empower both Kar***'s and Ji'nara's basic abilities and traits. Gain a permanent relentless however crowd control still effects them both. Slightly increase basic attack damage and basic attacks now splash. The Ji'nara player controls the movement and basic attacks of the Dark Archon.

The Dark Archon is a devastating spell caster that focuses on destroying the enemy then protecting allies.

Archon
Can only be selected when Ji'nara and Kar*** are within range 5 of each other

Merge into an Archon with Kar***'s personality becoming the dominant one. increase health and empower both Kar***'s and Ji'nara's basic abilities and traits. Gain a permanent relentless but crowd control effects still effect them both. Increase basic attack damage and basic attacks now splash. The Kar*** player control the movement and basic attacks of the Archon.

The Archon is a powerful support caster that trades damage for the ability to better protect its allies

Special Mount

Archon Mount
When Ji'nara and Kar*** select an ult instead of a normal mount they hover in a cloud of energy the same color as the archon.

Talent ideas for both heroes

The level 10 and 20 tier are combined for both heroes, one person selects a talent and both heroes get the benefits.

Psionic orb can be targeted on an ally

Psionic orb explodes when its duration is up for 225 (+4% per level) damage.

Mind blast no longer reduces movement speed

Time warp has a 33% bigger radius

Time warp gives allies 15% resistance for 2 seconds

explosion knockback triggers when stunned, slowed or rooted.

increase time warp's speed boost and slow to 30%/30% or its stun to 1.5 seconds

Power Overwelming: further empower basic abilities and traits Archon style

Twilight Archon: (R) activate to switch between Dark Archon and Archon reseting ability cooldowns. 120 second cooldown.

Really cool idea. Love the thought of the Archon actually being 2 templar rather then just Tassadar's upgraded form.
