Karax

Phase-Smith of the Daelaam

Khalai Phase-Smiths usually never engage in frontline battle, usually opting the safety of a Forge in Aiur. However, Karax, much like his Hiearch, willingly engages in combat whenever Artanis calls him onto battle. Now in the Nexus, he seeks to prove that a war isn't just about fighting your opponents, but aiding your allies to the best of one's capabilities.

Combat Trait

Master Phase-Smith
Empower nearby structures and minions. Also improves Basic Atk speed and Ability(Non-Heroic) cast speed.

Fort/Keep/Turret: +10% atk dmg and speed
Minions/Mercs: +50% atk speed, +20% atk dmg
Boss: +25% Move + Atk Speed, +10% atk dmg(Applicable to Immortals & Punishers)
Heroes: +25% Basic Atk speed, +15% Ability cast speed(excluding Heroics)

Primary Abilities

Photon Cannon(Q)
Deploys a Photon Cannon, dealing 415 dmg(+4% per level) on the first Hero/Heroic Summon entering range(similar to Kael Phoenix). Has 1000HP, but does not scale with lvl increase. Has 4 charges. Needs Karax's passive or E ability nearby and will not fire without these.

Cooldown: 15s per charge used.

Shield Battery(W)
Deploy a Shield Battery, shielding 5% of Max HP over 7s. Has 1000HP but does receive lvl scaling. Has 3 charges. Needs Karax's passive or E ability nearby.

Pylon Field(E)
Warp in a Pylon that empowers your structures. Allies can channel for 1s to warp to the Pylon's location by clicking on the Pylon. Has 2 charges. Has 975 HP, will not scale with levels.


Cooldown: 30s per charge used.

Warp Robotics Facility
Call down a Robotics Facility, which after 2s , spawns 3 Immortals and a 1 Sentry, which shields for 485pts for 3s per 3s(Sentry). Facility is destroyed when spawns are destroyed. Immortals shield themselves for 50% of their HP when at 20% HP

Immortal: 895HP(+4% per lvl), 325dmg(+4% per lvl)
Sentry: 475HP(+4% per lvl), 125dmg(+4% per lvl)

Phase Smith Mastery
Gain the ability to repair all your structures for 234hp per second(including Forts/Keeps/Walls/Turrets/Wells/Gates for 10s, cooldown starts only when expired.


Cooldown: 75s

This mount is exclusive to Karax, although he can use Hover mounts and Bikes, but not Animal Mounts.

Reconstruction(Trait)
*Master Phase-Smith's field repairs 2% of missing Allied Structure HP over 3s

Rapid Discharge(Q)
*Photon Cannons fire +25% faster.

Empowering Field(E)
*When an Allied Hero is in range of a Pylon, it grants a +15% increase in Abilty Dmg/Heal Abilities.

Shield Surge(W)
*Shield Battery has +10% HP increase and now shields for 7% of Max HP.


Level 4


Xel'Naga Harmony(Q)
*Photon Cannon heals you for 20% of dmg done to Heroes, 10% to Summons/Objectives/Mercs(including Boss), 5% vs Minions.

Rapid Projection(E)
*Reduces the channel time to teleport into a Pylon to 0.7s

Skilled Artisan(Q/W)
*You can now deploy Photon Cannons & Shield Batteries globally, having untalented Stats when not in range of Trait or E Ability


Level 7


Might of the Daelaam(E)
*Enemy Heroes in range take 375 dmg over 5s.

Everlasting Work(Q/W)
*Photon Cannons & Shield Batteries have 10% of HP as shields, while absorbing 30% of dmg taken.

Plasma Blast(Q)
*Photon Cannon deals +15% dmg, dealing 50% of dmg dealt as splash dmg.

Firstborn of the Gods(Trait/E)
*Karax's Trait is now also applied to Pylons.

Daelaam-Forged(W)
*Now shields for an additional +1% of your Max HP, while reducing the shielding delay to 4s.

Reclamation(Active)
*After channeling for 2s, rebuild an Allied Fort/Keep/Well to 70% of its HP. 10s cooldown if interrupted. Cooldown: 60s

Khaydarin Monolith(Active)
*Warp in a Khaydarin Monolith after 2s, dealing 503 dmg, having 1500HP, lasting for 20s. Cooldown:60s


Level 16


Protective Field(E)
*Allies teleporting into a Pylon Field have 10% of their Max HP as a Shield.

Templar's Will(Trait)
*You and Allies(Heroes and Summons) gain 10% faster Move & Atk Speed when in Trait's range.

Timeless Creations(Q/W)
*Photon Cannons & Shield Batteries have +610HP and take 10% less dmg from all sources.


Level 20


Glory to the Firstborn(R1)
*Robotics Facility can now be deployed anywhere in the map without Trait or E, now also spawning a Colossus, an Observer that reveals Stealth every 3s until destroyed and an additional Immortal.

Mechanical Prowess(R2)
*While Phase-Smith Mastery is active ignore charge limits for Photon Cannon and Shield Batteries, PCs and SBs built beyond the limit last 5s.

Bolt of the Storm(Active)
*Teleport to a nearby location. Cooldown: 60s.

*Pylon Field has additional 3 charges.
