Ranged Support
Kel'Thuzad is an archlich and the most trusted general of the Lich King.
Since Xul, the Diablo 2 Necromancer, is coming up, I don't think Kel'Thuzad design should be focused around necromancy. He should have some of it, sure, but shouldn't be his main theme.
In my opinion, his design should be mainly focused around the theme of frost (since he's a Lich, and in WC 3 Liches used a lot of frost powers). However, since we already have a frost assassin mage, and given his play style in WC 3 and his role in the lore of the game, I think he should be a support, focused on restricting and slowing enemies.
In this idea, he still has some necromancy powers, specially if he talents into it (he can even raise skeletons and soul weavers with talents).
He doesn't have a healing ability initially - he has a shield. However, some of his talents allow him to heal.
3 major talent builds were designed for him: a healing/shielding build, a crowd-control build, and a siege/pusher build. Of course, some builds have more than 1 option at some levels, and there are some talents that doesn't support any build, or that support more than one.
Anyway, hope you like it.
