Khadgar is a Ranged Warcraft Assassin, a Basic Attack Sustain Damage Mage

Difficulty: Easy

The idea design behind Khadgar is a Hybrid Mage/AA assassin kind of similar to Falstad. The playsle is very ebb and flow, his abilities have a really short cooldown with a moderate mana cost, meaning he can go OOM extremely fast especially with Arcane power active which is why he needs to auto attack to keep going. He lacks any utlity or CC that other mages brings in exchange for more damage. Khadgars strength lies in his Basic attack power and baseline burst cooldown, Arcane Power

Inflicted an enemy with frost bomb, which after 1 second explodes for 141 damage to all nearby enemies

-Simple Point and Click damage ability
-Slightly bigger explosion radius than Kaelthas's Living Bomb, can hit a full minion wave

Envelops you in a temporal shield for 2 sec. 75% of all damage taken while shielded will be granted as a shield.

Skill Shot


In a straight line, fire a Frostfire bolt hitting enemey heroes dealing 125 damage. Enemies hit have their movement slowed by 30% and burn for 111 damage over 2 seconds.

Basic attacks extends this effect by 1 second.


-About as wide and same range as Greymane's Cursed Bullet.
-Can hit multiple targets

120 Second Cooldown

For the next 5 Seconds, Fire Blast and Frost Bomb have a 1 second cooldown, your attack speed is increased by 100%, and you Gain Arcane Power

-Fire Blast and Frost Bombs current cooldown are set to 1 automatically upon casting

Though i see his easy lavel, he seems too simple and generic to really be unique and not just some randome mage damage dealer.

D 25% ability power is really not that inpressive, the passive makes him charge mana pretty well, and he doesnt really excel in the aa department.
Suggestion- make his ability power and aa power depens on his mana level: above 200 mana abilities have 35% increased power (and maybe some extra effects) while aa deal 100% increased damage and splash. But abilities cost 100% more and aa cost 10.
Active to recharge 200 mana over 5 seconds, channel interrupted by taking damage, aa or using abilities. (This an idea for an old medivh concept i had)

Q too generic, would suggest to make it burn targets and your aa refresh the duration (like the current heroic) or also deal damage to enemies arround the target (maybe increase cd)

W doesnt feel very frosty, it should have some sort of cc, like 40% slow decays over 2 seconds.

E really good ability, the only downside is that it doesnt interract with the trait, so make it that above 200 mana you also gain 25 armro (does not resuce the ammount of shield)

R1 he already got a basic skillshot so another skillshot as heroic on really short cd doesnt feel very impressive.
Suggestion: change to mana bomb- cost ~35% of corrent mana, deal damage to an aoe according to mana spent. The cd fan be relatively low.

E is interesting, but I wouldn't make it an entire ability, maybe an active part of his passive. I'd also change his Q to a skillshot, only because having two point-and-click abilities seems a bit repetitive.

Only problem I really have other than that is that he doesnt really add anything new to the roster. Yeah, his basic attacks hurt, but his abilities just kinda seem... there. I would rework the passive and the abilities to work in conjunction more, like his abilites making his basic attacks pierce or increasing his basic attack speed or something.

Now as the the E I think you make a good point. I could potentially, move his E to his trait, remove the mana gains and then redesign his E all together to be something that gives back mana to retain the ebb and flow playstyle and still feel fun. Id be very open to hear suggestions on that.
