Kil'ruk (Completed)

The Wind-Reaver

Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver was one of the Paragons of the Klaxxi and the first among the Paragons whom saw value in allowing outsiders - more specifically the Adventurers of Azeroth: to help the Klaxxi in their battle against their corrupted Grand Empress: Shek'zeer. As time went by their Empress was defeated but once Garrosh Hellscream unearthed the Heart of Y'Shaarj, Kil'ruk alongside the other Paragons decided to follow the hearts voice and the hearts new lord - Garrosh himself. Kil'ruk's life came to an end by the hands of the very same adventurers that he had helping him and the other Paragons before, ending the lineage of the Klaxxi Paragons after a longevity of at least 12,000 years. As he now has been brought back and into the Nexus, Kil'ruk seeks to unleash his power and seething anger on anyone foolish enough to stand in his way.

Kil'ruk is a quick attacking melee assassin who focuses on exposing the weakness of his target at hand, allowing him to quickly deal damage to his prey and leave them in a weakened state for the battle at hand.

Baste stats:


- Base Health: 1789 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 4.08 (+4 %)


- Energy: 500
- Energy regen: 3


- Speed: 4.39

Basic attack:


Kil'ruk attacks with his two Mantid blades at a close melee range.

- Base damage: 89 (+4 %)
- Attack speed: 1.02
- Attack range: 1

Combat Trait

D - Angel of Death
Passive: Kil'ruk gains 5% basic attack speed for each hostile hero within close proximity.

Activate: Your basic attack deals frontal cone cleave damage for the next 5 seconds.

Mana: 30
Cooldown: 30 Seconds. Cooldown starts after the 5 seconds is over.

Primary Abilities

Q - Exposed Veins
Once active your next 5 basic attacks will expose the veins of the targets you hit, making them vulnerable, increasing all damage the targets take from Kil'ruk by 3% per application, all damage the target takes from other heroes by 2% per application and all damage taken from periodic effects such as Bleed, Poisons and so on is increased by 5% per application . This effect can stack 5 times and lasts for 2 seconds per stack.

Combining this with Angel of Death will allow Exposed Veins to land on multiple targets per basic attack.

Mana: 55
Cooldown: 12 Seconds. (Cooldown starts after the 5 Basic Attacks have landed)

W - Gouge
Deal light damage to the target and incapacitate them for 2 seconds, rendering the target unable to take any actions.

Any damage will break this effect and Kil'ruk will stop attacking the target he Gouges and will only attack again if the key-command for basic attack is pressed or if the target is right clicked. He will attack any other unit within range instead of the Gouged target should one be within his range.

If Gouge lasts it's full duration without the target taking any damage, it will slow the targets movement speed and attack speed over 4 seconds. This slow starts at 85% and decays every 1 second over it's time.

Gouge will clear the target of any debuff effects they may have which deals damage over time and any buff effect which heals over time.

Gouge can be combined with Angel of Death to apply Gouge to all targets within the cleave range yet the time the targets remain incapacitated and the slow effects will be reduced by 25% per target hit.

Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

E - Mutilate
Instantly strike the target with both of your blades, dealing a massive amount of damage. This ability can be combined with your other attacks for increased effects.

Mutilate + Angel of Death: The damage from Mutilate now hits all targets affected by the cleave damage and the damage remains the same per target hit.

Mutilate + Exposed Veins: Refresh the duration of Exposed Veins on the target up and until the maximum duration the target had the debuff.

Mutilate + Angel of Death + Exposed Veins: Refresh the duration of Exposed Veins on all targets hit up and until the maximum duration the targets had the debuff.

Mutilate + Gouge: Breaks the Gouge but the slow effect is still applied to the target.

Mutilate + Angel of Death + Gouge: Breaks the Gouge but the slow effect is still applied to all targets affected by Gouge.

Mutilate will also refresh the duration of any damage of time effect the target had active.

Mana: 70
Cooldown: 8 Seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Reave
Passive: Increase the effect of Angel of Death's passive function up to 7% and make the cleave radius bigger for it's active effect.

Activate: Kil'ruk will start to flail his weapons around him as he spins around, dealing damage each 0.25 seconds anyone remains within his melee range. While in this state Kil'ruk moves at mount speed and is unstoppable. This effect lasts for 3 seconds and once it ends, Kil'ruk will leap to the closest enemy hero, stunning them for 1.5 seconds. During these 1.5 seconds, Kil'ruk will flail both weapons at the target, dealing damage equal to 15% of the targets total health per attack, if multiple hostile units are around the one Kil'ruk has stunned, the damage will be split evenly among all units.

Mana: 95
Cooldown: 100 Seconds.

R - Death from Above
Kil'ruk leaps into the air and activates his wings, allowing him to fly freely around in the air at mount speed for 10 seconds, while up in the air Kil'ruk is unable to be attack and attack himself. Reactivating this ability will instantly drop Kil'ruk down on the targeted area, dealing a massive amount of damage to all units within the area and slowing their movement speed by 35% for 2 seconds. Once Kil'ruk lands he will gain the Angel of Death active effect for 5 seconds regardless of it's current cooldown.

Mana: 90
Cooldown: 120 Seconds. Cooldown starts when you land.

Special Mount

Z - Wings of the Windreaver
Kil'ruk can activate his own wings to gain mount speed while hovering just above ground level.

Talents

Level 1


- Swift Blades: Angel of Death's cooldown is decreased by 0.5 seconds per enemy hit by your basic attacks.

- Extended assault: Angel of Death's active function lasts for 3 more seconds.

- Harvesting Amber: Quest: Killing minions will drop 1 Amber Fragment and killing enemy heroes will drop 5 Amber Fragments. Reward: After collecting 100 Amber Fragments you can activate this ability to eat a chunk of Amber to restore 25% of your total health over 5 seconds. 45 Seconds cooldown.

Level 4


- Tearing it up: Exposed Veins lasts for 3 seconds per stack.

- Rending Blades: Exposed Veins damage increase effects is increased to 5% for Kil'ruk, 3% for allied heroes and 7% for negative effects.

- Archangel of Death: Quest: Hitting at least 2 Enemy heroes while Angel of Death is active will empower it. Reward: After hitting 2 enemy heroes 15 times with Angel of Death, your basic attack will now always cleave off on a secondary target.

Level 7


- Situation Critical: Gouge's slow effect now also affects ability cooldown time.

- Internal Bleeding: Gouge Deals damage each 0.5 seconds over it's 2 second duration. This damage does not break Gouge.

- Leaping Strikes: Mutilate gets a range of 5 and will make Kil'ruk leap to his target.

- You're open: Mutilate will strike an additional time for extra damage if the target hit has a negative effect active of any kind.

Level 10 (Ultimates - R)


- Reave.

- Death from Above.


Level 13


- Xaril's gift: Your basic attacks cripples the enemy, slowing their movement speed by 15% for 1 second.

- Skeer's gift: Your basic attack heals you for 15% of the damage they deal.

- Malik's gift: Once you drop under 25% health, gain 50 Armor and 25 Spell Armor for 5 seconds. This effect has a 45 second cooldown.

Level 16


- Rapid Exposure: Exposed Veins now is applied over the course of 3 basic attacks yet the effects are the same - its time and % effect just get's divided out on 3 blows down from 5.

- Cheap retreat: Gouge increases your movement speed by 25% for 2.5 seconds.

- Executioner: If your Mutilate lands a killing blow, refresh it's cooldown.

- Instinct of a killer: You deal bonus damage to targets you hit with your basic attacks if they are effected by any negative effect.

Level 20


- Strike of the Wind-reaver: Reave's area of effect is increased to 3.5 range and the finisher strikes 4 times up from 2 within the 1.5 second span.

- Like a leaf on the wind: Death from Above deals more damage on impact, slows for 50% and you can remain airborne for 30 seconds.

- Do not get used to this: Activate this to make Kil'ruk unstoppable for 10 seconds and activate his wings, granting him mount speed. For these 10 seconds Kil'ruk can not lose his mount status from damage and can re-activate the ability to pick up one single allied hero, bringing them with him. Cooldown: 45 Seconds.

- Blades of a Paragon: Your basic attack gets 1.5 more range and you attack 15% faster.

- We will meet again: Upon dying you will brand the target that killed you (Only works on Heroes) If this hero dies, you will be brought back to life and when the branded hero comes back to life, you will deal 20% more damage to that target until the hero dies again. If Kil'ruk returns before the hero he branded dies, the brand will expire. Cooldown: 60 Seconds. Cooldown starts when the brand expires.

Skin Suggestions

This is Kil'ruk's basic apperance: This link (Brown, White, Purple) as for his secondary and third tints (Which I have no links for) I was thinking - Grey, Green, Blue and Red, Black, Yellow

His master skin is a tricky one as I'd simply want it to look more "Mantid Imperial" but then again some of his Klaxxi brothers already "looks" like that so he may become similar in too many ways: so as of now I got no real master skin id
