K'zrath (2024)

Plague Lord of Madness

K'zrath is the embodiment of the Plague of Madness - one of the five sources of plagues that Rafaam has unleashed into Uldum. Even after being defeated, his wicked influence managed to go on, and with it, K'zrath himself. Somehow, he reappeared in Luxoria, rapidly corrupting the denizens of both the Sky Temple and the Tomb of the Spider Queen. Although he was quickly banished by Ka and Neithis, he now belonged to the Nexus, and therefore could plague any realm he wanted.

K'zrath is a fearsome Support who constantly disrupts his enemies.

Combat Trait

Evoke Panic (Trait)

Cooldown: 10 seconds per enemy
Basic Abilities inflict Panic to enemies hit. Your Basic Attacks unleash it and cause targets to run towards their Hall of Storms for 0.75 seconds. Panic lasts 3 seconds.

Panic cannot be applied to enemies on cooldown.
Subsequent applications of Panic refresh its duration.
Cooldown starts once the target is forced to run in Panic.
Panic, similar to Fear, prevents targets from acting when unleashed.

Whispering Sphere (Q)

Mana: 60
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Release a whispering sphere that deals 60 damage to enemies in its path and Curses Non-Structure targets hit for 3 seconds, reducing their damage by 20% and dealing an additional 60 damage over the duration.

Missile Speed: 16

Whispering Sphere can only hit an enemy once.

Madness (W)

Mana: 60
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Target two Heroes and cast for 0.5 seconds.
Enemies take 80 damage and are forced to attack the other target for 1 second.
Allies gain 20% Attack Speed for 3 seconds and inflict Panic with Basic Attacks while the bonus is active.

Range: 6

Can be self-cast to gain the Attack Speed bonus.
Effects are applied after both targets are selected.
Targets need to be in sight of both you and each other to be selected.

Betrayal (E)

Mana: 40
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Deal 120 damage to an enemy Hero, then Blind and Silence them for 1 second.
All nearby Minions and non-Elite Mercenaries are forced to attack them for 4 seconds.

Radius: 4

Betrayal affects both allied and enemy targets around the primary target.

Mana: 75
Cooldown: 75
Сurse an allied Hero above 25% Health, reducing their Armor by 75 for 3 seconds.
If they take fatal damage while cursed, the curse spreads to nearby enemy Heroes, reducing their Armor by 75 for 3 seconds.

Mass Hysteria (R2)

Mana: 75
Cooldown: 75
Channel for 1 second to release a wave of hysteria in a huge radius around you.
The wave deals 150 damage and forces each Non-Structure enemy hit to attack the nearest Non-Structure enemy hit for 2 seconds.

Wave Speed: 15

Interrupting Mass Hysteria puts it on full cooldown.

LEVEL 1

Embrace Madness
Increase the Attack Speed bonus from Madness to 25%.
Madness increases the Attack Speed of affected enemies by 100%.

Illusive Friendship
Increase the radius of Betrayal by 25% and its duration on Minions by 50%.

Shattered Minds
❢Quest: Force 20 enemy Heroes to run in Panic.
❢Reward: Reduce the cooldown of Evoke Panic by 2 seconds.

LEVEL 4

Wicked Sphere
Increase Whispering Sphere's range by 10%.
Whispering Sphere's cooldown recharges 25% faster per Cursed enemy Hero.

Foe or Friend?
Forcing an enemy to attack an ally Blinds them for the duration.
Forcing an enemy to attack you also reduces the cooldown of Madness by 5 seconds.

Panic Trembling
Forcing an enemy to run in Panic Slows them by 30% for 3 seconds.

LEVEL 7

Echoing Whispers
Your Basic Attacks against Cursed enemies increase its duration by 0.25 seconds and restore 10 Mana.

Systematic Betrayal
Betrayal can be recast within 2 seconds of the initial cast to force all betrayed enemy Minions to fight for your team.
This recast has a 20 second cooldown and costs 120 Mana.

Evoke Despair
Forcing an enemy Hero to run in Panic also Curses them.

LEVEL 13

Road to Insanity
Madness also grants 30% Movement Speed to both enemies and allies.

Plagued Weapons
Betrayed Minions and Mercenaries deal bonus damage equal to 2% of maximum Health of the target.

Their Worst Fears
Attacking a Hero that is Silenced, Slowed, or Rooted increases the duration of mentioned effects by 0.25 seconds.
Passive: Gain 15% Attack Speed.

LEVEL 16

Cursed Fate
Increase the duration of Curse by 100% and its damage reduction by 10%.

Madness Incarnate
Increase the duration of Madness on enemies by 0.25 seconds.
You heal nearby allies for 200% of the damage dealt by enemies affected by Madness.

Broken Spirit, Broken Body
Forcing an enemy Hero to run in Panic reduces their Armor by 30 and healing received by 30% for 3 seconds.

LEVEL 20

Murmur of Immortality
Murmur of Mortality grants its target Unkillable for 3 seconds. The curse spreads when the target is reduced to 1 Health.

THIS is Madness!
Mass Hysteria inflicts Panic and affects the entire map, including Mercenary Camps, Monsters, and even Structures.

The Deceiver
Increase the cooldown of Betrayal by 4 seconds.
Betrayal affects nearby enemy Heroes, forcing them to attack the target for 2 seconds.

Plague of Madness
Heroes run in Panic for an additional 0.25 seconds.
Takedowns of both enemies and allies reset the cooldown of Evoke Panic on enemies near you.
Radius: 8
