Lucio is a very mobile support hero, able to zip around the battlefield while healing or buffing his allies

Health: 1326 (+4% per level)
Regen: 3.26 per second (+4% per level)
Volume: 100
Attack Speed: 1 (Visually 4 orbs, but only 1 damage number, same as Raynor's basic attack)
Attack Damage: 96 (+3.5% per level)

Lucio uses a unique resource to fuel his abilities - Volume
Gain 1 volume per second for every hero in range of Lucio's Crossfade ability up to a maximum of 100. No Volume gained while Wallride or Amp it Up is active

Gain 1 Volume per hero in range every second

Activate trait to switch tracks

2

Primary Abilities

1
Soundwave
Knock away enemies in a cone in front of Lucio, dealing 174 (+4% per level) damage and slowing their move speed by 20% for 1 second
If used while Wallriding, knock away further, and enemies that hit solid terrain are stunned for 1 second
Volume: 30
Cooldown: 12s
2
Amp it Up
Lucio boosts the volume on his speakers, increasing the range and effect of his songs

Crossfade: Heal - heals for 48 (+4% per level)
Crossfade: Speed - move speed bonus increases to 25%
Range of effect increased by 25%

Cost: 30 Volume to activate, drains 10 Volume per second while active
Cooldown: 5s
3
Wallride
While active Lucio will attempt to wallride on solid terrain (Walls, buildings etc.). Press again to deactivate
While wallriding he moves 20% faster and becomes Unstoppable

Consumes 2 volume per second while wallriding

Heroic Abilities

1
Sonic Barrier
Consume all Volume stored. Allied heroes in range gain a Shield equal to 1.5% of their maximum health for every point of volume spent. Shield decays over 5 seconds

Cooldown: 70 Seconds
2
Sonic Blast
Consume all Volume stored. Lucio creates a Sonic Blast in the area around him, enemies caught in the blast are slowed by 1% per volume spent and lose 20 armor for 2 seconds

Cooldown: 90 seconds

Talents

Level 1

Run the Streets - Wallriding no longer stops Crossfade's volume gain
Personal DJ - If only one other hero is in range of Crossfade: Heal, double it's effect on that hero (not doubled on Lucio)
Speed Boost - Switching to Crossfade: Speed gives an initial speed boost of 20% for 2 seconds
Life is Music - Regen Globes grant 10 Volume

Level 4

Speaker Drone - Active - Places a Speaker Drone at target location, revealing a large area around it and playing an untalented, unboostable version of your active Crossfade song for 45 seconds. This drone cannot be hidden and is killed by enemies with 2 Basic Attacks. Stores up to 2 charges. Cooldown: 45 seconds
Boombox - Increase Soundwave damage by 100% but remove the slow effect
Reverb - Quest: Hit 10 Heroes with Soundwave while Wallriding
Reward: Reduce Soundwave cost by 10, and by 30 if used while Wallriding

Level 7

We Move Together As One - If all allies are in range when activated, Amp it Up will drain no Volume for the first 3 seconds

I really like your implementation of a HOTS Lucio. Using Volume as a resource is neat and now that I've read it, I can't imagine it working differently.

Crossfading is done well, and you've captured the spectrum of his abilities sufficiently. The talents, particularly the Crossfade: Remix at level 20, are nicely designed.

My major waffle is the subject of Wallriding. Exactly what is a solid piece of terrain? If the upper and lower boundaries of an area are a dense copse of trees, is he riding the sides of trees? It seems like you've dedicated a lot to Wallriding that I'm not sure will come into play.

cool concept .. my biggest concern is that you will be very Volume hungry when laning solo ; you are basically getting 1 Volume/sec.

Exactly yes! I want Lucio to be a team player. You can run him solo, but he is significantly weaker when he does
