Lachdanan

The Cursed Knight

As a Cursed Knight, Lachdanan toes the line between retaining his humanity and fighting with honor, or succumbing to his cursed self and fighting with bloodlust.

Most of the time he's a warrior, but prolonged fights cause him to lose his durability and became a high-risk assassin, perfect for cleaning up after a team fight. He has a hard time becoming cursed in the early game, but his level 7 talents let him curse himself easier.

While in his Uncursed Form, Lachdanan has very high self-sustain, to quickly recover from the self-damage he takes in his Cursed Form.

Armor: 20 (0 when in Cursed Form)

Attack: 106 (186 when in Cursed Form)
Attack Speed: 0.9/sec


Effective HP when in Uncursed Form is 2,712, about 60 more HP than Chen.
His DPS in Cursed Form is 167, about 10 more than Thrall.

Combat Trait

Cursed
When in combat, Lachdanan gains 5 curse a second, up to 100. Lachdanan does not generate curse if there are no enemy heroes nearby. When not in combat, or if no enemy heroes are nearby, Lachdanan loses 5 curse a second instead.

When he reaches maximum curse, Lachdanan enters his Cursed Form, causing him to deal a bonus 80+4% damage per autoattack, and have a different set of abilities, but he loses his 20 armor and loses 1.5% of his current (not max) HP on every attack.

While in Cursed Form, Lachdanan loses 5 curse a second, doubled when out of combat. Lachdanan's CDs do not reset upon switching forms.
(i.e if he uses Brave Thrust, then 1 second later becomes Cursed, Disembowel will still be on a 7 second CD)

Primary Abilities

Brave Thrust
Lachdanan thrusts forwards after a 0.2 second delay, dealing 140+4% damage to the nearest enemy hit, and stunning them for 0.5 seconds. This is a very narrow linear AoE skillshot.

PASSIVE: Autoattacks, and Brave Thrusts that hit enemy heroes from behind generate 5 curse.

CD: 8 seconds

Valiant Charge
Lachdanan instantly charges a medium distance forward, unstoppable for the duration. If he hits an enemy, he stops and deals 102+4% damage, silences them for 0.5 seconds, and gains a 160+4% shield that lasts for 4 seconds.

CD: 11 seconds

Rallying Cry
Lachdanan lets loose a battle cry that heals him by 64+4% for every allied hero in its radius, up to 320+4%. In addition, all allies hit cannot fall below 100% movement speed for 1.5 seconds.

CD: 16 seconds

Secondary Abilities

Disembowel
Lachdanan thrusts forward after a 0.2 second delay. Enemies hit take 140+4% damage as well as a further 140+4% damage over 5 seconds. In addition, they are slowed by 20% for the duration. This is a very narrow linear AoE skillshot.

PASSIVE: Autoattacks, and Disembowels that hit enemy heroes from the front remove 5 curse.

Hellish Assault
Lachdanan instantly charges a medium distance forward, unstoppable for the duration. For every enemy he hits, he deals 102+4% damage. If they are a hero, he deals bonus damage equal to 15% of their missing health.

CD: 11 seconds

Bloodthirsty Cry
Lachdanan lets loose a battle cry that grants him a 128+4% shield for every enemy hero hit. The shield lasts for 4 seconds, the duration refreshing every time he deals damage. In addition, enemy heroes hit are slowed by 50% decaying over 3 seconds.

CD: 16 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Blood Rain
Lachdanan creates a large AoE (starfall sized). Enemies in the AoE take 108+4% damage per second. If Lachdanan is in the AoE he is healed 128+4% damage and gains 5 curse every second. Damage and healing ticks every 0.0625 seconds.

CD: 80 seconds

Golden Elixer
Lachdanan drinks from a golden elixer. In addition to setting his curse to 0, he blinds all enemies in melee range for 2 seconds and heals for 25+4% HP for every 10% of his maximum curse removed.

CD: 30 seconds

Talents

Level 1:

Blessing of Humanity: Rallying Cry heals for 20% more, and also heals allied heroes for 20% of the healing Lachdanan recieves.

Dark Gifts: Quest: Be in Cursed Form. Reward: For every 10 seconds spent in cursed form, gain 1% maximum life, up to 15%

Volatile Curse: Maximum curse is reduced to 75, causing Lachdanan to switch forms more often.

Level 4:

Honorable Duel: Basic attacks that hit from the front grant 10 armor for 2 seconds, and only cost 0.75% of his current health when cursed. (This equates to 12.5% less damage taken when uncursed, due to bonus armor being more valuable on heroes that already have armor)

Kingslayer: Valiant Charge now silences for 1.5 seconds.

To Battle!: Rallying Cry now prevents allies from being being 120% movement speed for the duration.


Level 7:

Fighting Dirty: Attacks, Brave Thrusts, and Disembowels that hit from behind generate a bonus 5 curse, in either form. PASSIVE: Gain 10+4% base attack power.

Bloodletting: Take damage equal to 10% of your max HP and gain 40 curse over 5 seconds. CD: 30 seconds. PASSIVE: Gain 20% more healing from all sources.

Strike Down: Valiant Charge generates 15 curse on impacting an enemy hero. An additional 15 curse is generated if they die within 2 seconds. PASSIVE: Valiant Charge and Hellish Assault have their CDs reduced by 1 second on every autoattack.

Level 10:

Blood Rain
Golden Elixer

Level 13:

Hellbound: Scoring a takedown or hitting a hero with Hellish Assault grants 20% movement speed for 4 seconds.

Blood Magic: Gain 20% ability power in Cursed Form, but abilities now cost 1.5% of your current HP if they hit at least one enemy hero.

Inner Light: Casting an ability while in Cursed Form reduces the CD of all basic abilities by 1.25 seconds, including itself. ACTIVE: Activate while in Cursed Form to make your next ability be its Uncursed variant. CD: 12 seconds.

Level 16:

Feint: Hellish Assault and Valiant Charge have 35% reduced range. If it does not hit any targets, they can be recast instantly within 3 seconds and will deal 142+4% bonus damage.

From the Shadows: Hellish Assault and Valiant Charge have 100% increased range if used while in a bush and unrevealed.

Vanguard: Allies within melee range of Lachdanan in his Uncursed Form gain 15 armor. Allies within double melee range of Lachdanan in his Cursed Form gain 20% attack speed.

Level 20:

Dichotomy of Man: Blood Rain deals double damage when in Cursed Form, and heals for twice as much when in Uncursed Form

Curse Control: Requires Golden Elixer. Toggle: When On, gain double curse from all sources. When off, curse decays twice as fast. PASSIVE: Golden Elixer always heals for its full amount if used while in Cursed Form

Last Resort: Upon taking fatal damage in Uncursed Form, regain 40% of you max HP and become fully cursed. CD: 120 seconds.

Split Personality: Switching forms resets all basic ability CDs.
