Katrana was present in Stormwind during the coronation of King Varian Wrynn after the Second War on his 18th birthday.
She was said to have gained great influence Varian after the death of Queen Tiffin Ellerian Wrynn, during which he subsequently fell into a deep depression. King Varian eventually beat his depression and started to reassert his control over the Stormwind government.
Over Katrana's objections, the king was convinced by Prince Anduin to attend a peace summit with the orcs of Durotar.[5]
It was at Lady Prestor's behest that the young Anduin Wrynn be given the crown, so that order could be preserved within the Kingdom of Stormwind when the child's father, King Varian, went missing under suspicious circumstances while en route to a diplomatic summit at Theramore Isle.
Identity
Lady Prestor is the human form of the black dragon Onyxia, broodmother of the black dragonflight and daughter of Deathwing.
Quotes Combat
Combat: You dare challenge the daughter of Deathwing?
You put more time and effort into the **** like "skins" and quotes than you did with the actual concept. Nothing is cohesive and its just generic boring abilities on top of that. Her trait is almost exactly the same as alexstrazsa but worse. Both ults basically do the exactly same thing as the rest of her basic abilities which can be summed up as "do aoe damage in front of you."
Final notes are nitpicking, but why would she be on a positive note with ragnaros when ragnaros was basically in conflict with nefarion in blackrock mountain? That makes no sense. The larger issue would be, who would be interested in onyxia before deathwing? I mean its youre concept and may be you like her more, but it seems very silly and not something another reader would be interesting in unless you really sold it with a homerun of a kit, which isnt here.
I was thinking of doing Onyxia instead of her, but because she's so long out of the game it's hard to build a kit around her. I didn't put alot of effort in the skins, took about 5min, the abillities i was abit puzzled with for about an hour. I do like your feedback and i do like to know what would be a "homerun" kit then, because i thought myself this was a decent kit. It isn't a OP kit, but it doesn't have to be. I based it alot around her using fire, also i took Jaina her stats and idea as stand point so it isn't completly from scratch.
I personaly like her more then Deathwing, but i might do Onyxia herself as follow-up. Thank you for this supportive comment, feedback is welcome!
ok so heres my feedback about abilities. since the thing is still down im assuming this is an assassin concept since every ability you have deals damage.
First off, you need a theme. A clear and distinct difference that seperates your hero from another. Right off the bat from reading the trait it screams to me alexstrasza but weaker. Go into dragon, empower abilities. Maybe make her either always in dragon form and balance from that, or make it so she doesnt use dragon at all like chromie.
Second part about the point above, basic abilities should reflect this. All THREE of your abilities listed are basically just aoe damage with no secondary compotent or synergy. Out of the 31 assassins currently in game. Only 6 heroes have all 3 abilities that are offensive in nature and/or are mainly for killing or dealing damage. Ragnaros, guldan, kerrigan, alarak, valeera, kelthuzad. Out of those 5, 3 are combo based where they want to be very explosive using all off cooldown almost, alarak valeera kerrigan kelthuzad. Of those 3 abilities, each have secondary benefits. Alaraks Q silences, W pulls and repositions, E heals, Kerrigans Q gives her engage/escape, W stuns, E pulls. Etc etc.
The point being, all 3 of your basic abilities are just AOE damage spells but thats it. Theres nothing else there. Even ragnaros, whos entire basic kit and theme is about AoE damage, has other benefits on his Q and E and a super unique trait. E gives speed and can be used on others to help them escape or engage, Q heals and resets his swing, trait a massive defensive or a cheeky flank tool which can be game changing on braxxis, tomb, and other maps.
You need to incorporate more than just aoe damage to your basic kit. Something interesting. Somethingg different and creative.
This also extends to the ults, which again, do the same thing as the rest of her basic abilities. You could literally interchange them and it wouldnt change how the hero is designed. Hope this was helpful
