Lady Vashj (v2.1)

Lieutenant of Illidan

"Cursed, transformed... we have waited ten thousand years to retake our rightful place in the world. And now, with Lord Illidan's help, we shall!"

Lady Vashj was born in the city of Vashj'ir, where her mother, Lestharia Vashj, was the high leader and matron. She somehow left her homeland, and came to the city of Zin-Azshari, capital of the night elves, sometime before the War of the Ancients. Once chief among Queen Azshara's handmaidens, Vashj became one of the serpentine naga when Azshara and her followers were sent to the bottom of the sea during the Great Sundering.

Ten thousand years later, Vashj answered Illidan Stormrage's call and followed him first to Lordaeron, where she met up with Kael'thas Sunstrider and rallied his blood elves to Illidan's cause, and then to Outland when Illidan deposed Magtheridon as lord of the shattered world. As the leader of Illidan's naga, Vashj and her followers set up a shop in Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh, where the naga began to pump the lakes into their underground lair. During the invasion of Outland, adventurers invaded the Serpentshrine Cavern where Vashj made her lair and slew the Coilfang matron, her dying breath an apology to her master.

Combat Trait

1
Static
Basic Attacks and damaging abilities apply Static to enemy Heroes. Static can stack 3 times. Upon reaching a third stack, further applications of Static refresh the Static duration.

Static causes those affected to take 10%/15%/20% more ability damage from Vashj. Static lasts 4 seconds.

Primary Abilities

1
Forked Lightning
Vashj fires jolts of electricity in a cone in front of her, dealing 221 (+4%/level) damage to all targets hit.

Mana Cost: 70
Cooldown: 8 seconds
2
Mana Shield
Vashj uses her magic to shield herself from all attacks. Any damage she takes while this is taken drains her mana instead of her health. Activate again to turn off. This cannot be used below 10% mana and will automatically shut off if it hits that threshold.

Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 1 second
3
Lightning Tether
Vashj fires an electric lasso at a target, channeling for 3 seconds and dealing 120 (+4%/level) damage per second to the target and rooting them in place during the duration. This only applies Static once.

Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Heroic Abilities

1
Monsoon
Vashj channels for 6 seconds, calling upon a powerful Monsoon to cause chaos and destruction, dealing 158 damage (+4%/level) per second to all targets within a large area of effect. This does double damage to all non-Hero targets.

Mana Cost: 150
Cooldown: 120 seconds
2
Crushing Wave
Vashj calls upon a wave to crash down at a medium-sized target area, dealing 406 (+4%/level) damage. Crushing Wave does not apply Static. Targets affected by 3 stacks of Static that take damage from Tidal Wave are stunned for 3 seconds.

Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 120 seconds

Special Mount

1
Serpent's Speed
This is the baseline mount for Lady Vashj. Like Anub'arak, Zagara, and Ragnaros, she is limited in the actual mounts that she can ride due to her body shape.
